i am beginning to love DIOR!!!!

2 days ago, i woke up feeling superb 'coz i knew i was going to get a new mascara that day. not that i use it very often, but well, i just wanted to buy some cosmetics!! so after my work, met denice for dinner and made her shop with me for a mascara. i already had in mind the red earth 2V mascara actually. went to ask for the price - 25 dollars. den said, 'so expensive??? dont buy!' and i was like, 'ohh.. but i dont know what else is good! i think clinique is not bad but it would cost me at least 30 dollars'
den: then buy clinique!
me: its 30 plus dollars lehh!
den: so? its worth it!
me: but u said 25 dollars was expensive. -.-
den: for a red earth product, 25 dollars is expensive. but for a reputable brand like clinique, 30 plus is okay.

-.- okay. half of it makes sense huh? so we went to seiyu's clinique counter and there was no promoter and brands like this dont usually show their prices together with their display. (i suspect the purpose of it is so that you will have to ask the promoters for the prices to keep them busy.)
we WAITED for the promoter can??? when we finally saw a promoter in black, den said, 'maybe this is the promoter. she looks like it'
and.. the promoter walked past us to estee lauder or something. then another one came towards us. den said again, 'this one must be the promoter!'
and.. this one walked past us into the chanel counter. lol
i was telling den, 'where got customers wait for promoters one! i am such a good consumer! the promoter would better be pretty so that i wont be pissed with her. if the mascara costs more than 40 dollars, i will get DIOR instead man. Dior is 40 plus.'
then, a pretty promoter walked into the clinique counter finally!
i asked her about the mascaras and the weird thing is, she doesnt sing praises of her own products! i was asking her stuff like, 'does this make the lashes curl?'
and she would reply like, 'oh this one the curling not so good. only this other one curls but it doesnt make your lashes look thicker.'
i was shocked! why didnt she lie????? if she had lied that the mascara was the best-selling mascara for clinique or it does curling, lengthening and volumising, i would believe her!! seriously! i must be the dumbest customer but she didnt even try to make me believe the goodness of clinique's products.
oh well, so i walked over to DIOR and asked for the price of the waterproof mascara. 43 bucks. then the promoter told me that there was a package and for the price of 43 dollars, i get a mascara and a free LIPGLOSS!! (you know i ADORE gloss!) i was about to say, 'yes! i want it!' when she carried on and said,'but for this package, the mascara is non-waterproof'
i felt so disappointed can!! and i wont take a non-waterproof mascara 'coz if i do CRY i will turn into a witch.
so we have decided to walk around and look at all the promoters' eyelashes and decide who had the nicest lashes and then buy from that brand. DIOR's had the nicest lashes can??
so i stood beside the counter for like 15 minutes trying to decide if i should get it.
den told me, 'up to you. if you wanna get the red earth mascara for 25 bucks, i will scream into your ears. but 43 dollars for a dior mascara is up to you' or something along that line.
very finally, i bought the DIORSHOW mascara! (i was already terribly broke can???)

i have decided that this mascara is photogenic like me. coz it actually looks more 'ah-ma' (grandma) in real life.

yesterday, met vard, marc, yc and rence to rot together. marcus said he had something for me. =)
he pulled out a LIPGLOSS from his bag!!! ahhhh!!!!! and it's no simple lipgloss! it's a DIORKISS gloss!! oh my goodness!!!
he said he found it at his workplace and the lipgloss was brand-new and he thought who else would be a better person to give a gloss to other than to me!! ahh! i wanna work there too! maybe next time i pick up a new SK-II mask or another lip gloss!

(seriously, how can anyone not use a gloss?? it's the best thing in the world! i will suffer from withdrawal symptoms and die a slow death if i stop using one!)

a very slight digression:
clar and bingwen (other interns in gic) were like saying, it's damn easy to get me a present. everybody just have to get me a gloss.
aww wouldnt that be nice?? wouldnt that be VERY nice???

okok. so i love DIOR man.

anyway, rence made me play a game called DFM. after i heard the question, i didnt wanna play. hahaha it is said that they had all played that game before and somehow they got the same answers.

went k-box with serene, angela and clemence last friday. then met vard, bert, wy and wl for supper at bedok. drove to clark quay to pick marc up after his work and then we all went home.

clemence, he's damn spastic. but he made the k-box-ing fun!
