Back to School

Hi Everyone, Happy Saturday!
The winner of last weeks challenge is #8 A Busy Bee with this adorable card.
Carrie I will be giving your name to Amber Ink so that you can get your $15 to spend at their shop. Congratulations!

Now teachers you may not like the title but it will be here before you know it. I know some of you here in the US are all ready in your classrooms getting ready for a new class. Some of you may have already started. Our challenge will be an easy one for you. Show us something you have created that would work for the theme Back to School. Our generous sponsor this week is Paper Fashions Etc.

Paper Fashions Etc. has a blog and online store that offers a growing array of digital images for paper craft enthusiasts.  Owners Diane Noble, Gayla Dell and Melissa Rodgers all veteran paper crafters are excited about the variety of their images. They offer traditional hand-drawn images that are digitized, as well as images that are computer generated. All products provide endless possibilities for crafting projects whether creating cards, scrapbook pages or 3-D items.  The creators of Paper Fashions Etc. have been crafting for years and were all Stampin Up! demonstrators.  None of them ever thought they would trade traditional paper crafting for digital crafts...until they started using them. Immediately they saw the clear advantages of digital images re-sizing, recoloring, rotating, flipping, cropping all fun ways to personalize images that cannot be done with rubber stamps. They were instantly hooked on digi images.  They are launching new images every week and invite you to visit their store to see their newest additions.
Paper Fashions Etc. will be giving away 5 of the Back to school images to one of you. I hope you will join us and tell all your friends.

A Sketch

Hi Everyone, Happy Saturday!
I can't believe we only had 7 people join our challenge last week. I wish I had a free Bugaboo image to give each of you.
The winner of the 7 free images is number 7 Susan. Here are a few of the wonderful bookmarks she made.
Congratulations Susan. I will be sending your name to Bugaboo so you can collect your prize.

This week we have a sketch challenge and our generous sponsor is AmberInk.

AmberInk was started by a mother and daughter team.  Amber lives in the East, Pam lives in the West.  Amber is an Emmy nominated children's animator and illustrator, who creates from her Brooklyn, New York studio.  Although they do carry some clear stamps, the company runs by the premise that their customers are more brilliant than patient.  If you've been a diehard clear or rubber stamper, they can even help you with the transition to digital.  And don't worry about asking a silly question, because as a retired public high school teacher, Pam has already seen it all.   Check out the ever-increasing tutorial links, which you can find on the homepage. Hailing from the Hawaiian Islands, the Aloha Spirit is alive and well at AmberInk.com.

They have given the design team a new set called Hostess With The Mostess.
The prize is $15 to spend at their shop.

Here is the sketch for you to work with...

Now take a look at what the DT has created for you.

Isn't it funny how most of us chose the hostess.  She is all different sizes, colors and serving different things. That is what is great about digital stamps. I love how Siobhan took just a few of the images and made them the focal point. This is really a versatile set.

Remember you don't have to create a card. this would be a great scrapbook sketch.

Meet Veronica
My name is Veronica Baker thou I am known in the Scrapbooking world as Just A Pac Rat. I am the owner of Circle B Enterprises Scrapbooking and more store and Spur's Computer Cures in Webb City, MO.  I used to have around 4000 Scrapbook related items listed on Ebay for almost 10 years, but about 14 months ago I decided to go strictly my own website and store front.  This decision was mostly made because of Ebay's new price increase. I like to keep my prices low (presently 50% off retail prices) and just couldn't afford to do it on Ebay anymore. I am slowly but surely getting all my inventory listed online at http://www.circlebenterprises.com
I hope you will come visit my little store often and watch it grow! Also visit me at my creative blog http://circlebenterprises.blogspot.com where I show what I have created for challenges and Operation Write Home!

The prize this week will be a $20.00 credit in my store!
AND
And any participants in the challenge can have free shipping by using code "FREE SHIP" at checkout!
