Crazy Irish Manager

So I'm still in Austin...and my manager came out yesterday to finally work on this project with me...we still haven't done much yet. He's leaving tomorrow afternoon so we only have another day to finish things. Anyways, last night we go out for dinner and drinks. Since we were working today, I figured we wouldn't be out too late...was I wrong.

We go to dinner and have like 2 bottles of wine to start. I'm then already drunk cause there is no way in hell I can drink anywhere the amount of alcohol as he does. We then head over to the bar in the restaurant and have a few more drinks. At this point I'm wasted to the point that I'm feeling sick...oh well...gotta keep on going. Anyways, we end up at a few more bars and they start to close cause it's like 2am. So we start roaming the streets to look for after parties. No luck...we wander back to our hotel where we bump into these guys that are on their way to a friends bachelorette party. So the manager decides to follow them. We end up in some random girls room with 7 people and they're probably all looking at us thinking...who the hell are they? Anyways, we stay for an hour or so and then head downstairs for a smoke. In this 1 1/2 hour span, he's managed to invite himself to play in a Rugby game even though we'd be working at that time. He's very determined to go...and even talk to other new random people outside about Rugby and end up on the floor from being tackled...all this time, I'm like...this is so funny. Anyways, we finally leave the crowd and get to go to bed a little after 4am. Crazy people!

Do all guys lie?

So I'm in Austin, TX for work and I'm at a restaurant eating lunch by myself. There's these two people sitting at the table next to me and the guy starts talking to me about my food. We start talking about work as they seem to be consultants too. He asks about travel and I tell them that I'm travelling now and will be here for the weekend. He says that him and his friends will be hanging out on Friday and I should come along if I don't know anyone. So I give him my number so we can all hang out on Friday. He calls and leaves a message on Friday asking if I wanted to meet for dinner. What? What happened to his friends? Anyways, I call back and tell him that I'm not sure what time I'll be off of work but he says he'll wait. I relunctantly say sure...cause what else do I have to do? Finally I drive back to the hotel and it's crazy busy downtown and it takes me over half an hour to get parking. The hotel parking is packed and finally after entering the hotel parking lot three times the manager directs me to the valet parking area and gives me the code. I call that guy and tell him that I'm not in a mood to go out anymore. Guys should just really be upfront with you! Cause had I known that he wanted to go on a date, I would have never given out my number...he was totally not my type.
