Joy with MKC

Hey everyone!  Today is the first day of posting for Miss Kate Cuttables for 2019!  I just can not believe 2018 is gone already, it just zoomed by.

Miss Kate is still going to be offering you a freebie of the day, isn't she sweet ~ so don't forget to grab it Here!

Today I'm showing off a clean and simple card I made for Christmas.  With the price of stamps I've been trying to make my cards with less layers so they're not so heavy and require tons of postage.

For my card I used the tree from the Silent Night bundle, which looks like this in the store ~ When you purchase the bundle you get everything you see here.

This is how my card came out ~  I stickled the twinkles in the tree also.

Thanks for stopping by and checkin me out!

MKC January 2019 Challenge ~ Anything Goes

Are you ready for the first challenge of 2019 with Miss Kate Cuttables!

The challenge theme for this month is my favorite, and probably everyone else's as well ~  ANYTHING GOES!   Your project can be ANYTHING you want but it must have a file from Miss Kate Cuttables.

The challenge starts today (01/07/2019) and runs through January 21, 2019.  The challenge can be found in the Miss Kate Cuttables Galleria on Facebook, here ~ Galleria.

Here's what I submitted for the challenge.

I used the file in the store named ~ Christmas Reindeer.

I can't wait to see what everyone makes!

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy 2019!

Happy 2019 everyone!

I will be joining the Miss Kate Cuttables design team for another year of fun and challenges, which I am super excited about!

I am still playing around with digital scrapbooking, gosh there is so much to learn.

I have been using my Cricut for a whole year now and it sits next to my Silhouette Cameo.  I tend to bounce back and forth between the two machines because there are still things that the Cricut can't do without going to a 3rd party software, which aggravates me.  C'mon Cricut, get with the program - either commit or get off the line!  The biggest thing that I can't do with the Cricut is the offset feature.  I understand they don't have it because the Cricut cartridges and fonts offer their own offset, but I would really like to be able to offset my own imported images.  Another thing I've noticed is the Cricut cuts better than my Cameo, especially with small intricate items - which is really nice.  All in all, I'm pretty happy with the Cricut performance and features and would recommend it to anyone that asked.

Well, it's time to start 2019 ~ I wish everyone well and hope you'll still visit me in the new year.
