Eva is crawling!
Our sweet bug is crawling! I love it! She doesn't go for very long, but she still is moving. It's so fun to watch this girl grow up. She is such a little sweetie and I can't believe how lucky I am to have her. (Josh feels the same, of course--he LOVES his little girl) She also has two bottom teeth. I haven't quite figured out how to sneak a picture of those but I will get them and post them soon. Same for crawling. I will get video of her and show you how big she is already. She is such a little darling.

My Birthday
Whelp.. it happened.. I turned 30! I can't believe it. It doesn't feel any different than 2 days ago when I was 29. :)
We had a big BBQ with friends and family. It was great. Josh did really well at getting the goody bags together for the kids and pulling this all together. Also, for my present, he signed my sister Kim and me up for a 50 mile bike ride in/near Morgan,Utah. It will be so fun to ride with Kim. We are on totally different fitness levels but she has to stay with me on this because... it's my birthday! :) It will be really fun. It's an all women's ride and has some fun pit stops. It will be great.
Rob Vaughan
On our way back from the Spudman and Summer's baptism, my mom called to let me know that Rob Vaughan was killed on his motorcycle but a drunk driver. I couldn't believe it. How does that happen? How is someone there one minute and gone the next. He was on his way home from him office that he just sold. He retired a month ago... and he and Donetta put in their mission papers Monday. They were moving to St George. (Donetta still is, in October). I can't imagine how she is feeling. She, I'm sure, had so many plans for their newly retired life. Now she is a widow. It just kills me for her. My heart hurts for her loss.
Someone posted on Grace's FB that at least we know we will see him again. I know that that is true. I know that there is a more than this earth, but I can't imagine saying that to someone... someone who sees him every day. Who wakes up to him and goes to bed at night with him. Someone dying is like the worst "saying goodbye" ever. The news in SD did a piece on it and Macc said that he doesn't have any hard feelings toward the driver. He knows that it was time for him to move on and do work that needs to be done on the other side. I'm so glad Macc has peace. I don't wish harm on the guy that hit Rob, but I want him to know how it is effecting Rob's family. His poor decision changed a family's life forever.

Summer of Tris
Josh has been in at least one triathlon a month. We just finished the Spudman. We did it together (although he did beat me this year). Cousin Julia, sister Kim(and Eron-team) and Bro-in-law Dave did it with us this year, too. It was pretty fun. I pushed myself more than I have ever pushed myself and.. I did slower than I have ever done. But, I couldn't be more proud. I kept my body moving and that was huge.
Next up, Kokopelli!

Move in day!
Well, we finally get to have a house of our own! The short sale came through and we are finally able to move in. We have been painting 3 days straight. We still haven't painted our bathroom, the downstairs bathroom, and some doors, but we have done enough to be able to move in. It's now time to get moved in! Will post pictures soon!

First Tri of the Season
We went to St George for Josh's first tri of the season! Other than his wetsuit being a bit too tight, he did great! Here are some action pictures...
