Graduation...FINALLY!

Yesterday Jeff ran in the Salt Lake City Marathon and finished! (in pretty good time) Jeff and his brother John had been training Saturday mornings for what seems like forever, but I think it was all worth it...not just the sacrifice I made :)
It was awesome to see him cross the finish line; and a little amusing to watch him hobble around today. I am actually surprised he is even walking after running 26 miles! I really think it is neat that he did it and I'm also proud of him for raising money for cancer research in the process.
It was amazing to watch some of the people crossing the finish line. A couple people got about 10 yards from the end and just collapsed. One man crawled across the finish line where they had a wheelchair waiting for them. I can't image how hard it must have been.
Drew had fun clapping and yelling at the people to run and then showing us how he could run fast too. Maybe he'll run a marathon someday, but I'm counting myself out. I could probably handle biking it, but not running...maybe next year after the baby is born...maybe :)

Here are a couple more pictures from our trip down to Zion for Easter weekend. It was a quick trip, but nice to get away. Drew really enjoyed biking and hiking, but especially loved swimming.
