Garrett started pre-school today
So today was Garrett's first day of pre-school and he loved it. He knows 2 of the kids in the class already so that made it even easier for him. To be honest I had a ton of anxiety about him starting pre-school. He is such a little homebody and likes me to be right with him all the time so I was worried about him being okay for 2 and 1/2 hours. When we first got to the school we were greeted by a few of the teachers. They said to Garrett, "Hi, we are so happy to have you join us and what is your name?" Garrett replys, "It's Garrett." Teacher says, "Well welcome Garrett and how old are you?" Garrett's reply, " I'm twenty!" The funny thing is that he is totally serious. He tells people all the time that he is 20. I have no idea why but that's what he thinks!
On a side note, it is a little odd for him to be starting pre-school in the middle of the year but they had an opening and we took it! After being on the waiting list since June we will get in when we can!

Valentine's treat & craft...
Today I was watching my friends kids and I decided to do a Valentine craft and treat with them. The treat is something my Mom had told me about so I thought I would try it out. Aren't they so cute! Yummy and so simple to do. Garrett and his buddy Halen call them "Pretzel Pyramids." For the craft we put some crayon shreddings on wax paper and melted them to make our "Valentine Sun Chasers." Unfortunately, the sun wasn't out much today, it was snowing this morning but they were still able to see a little color when they put it up to the window.
