Just came back from the airport.
ima wa 7:32AM no tokoro desu.

Sent Ritz off.
Didnt cry. Somehow that feeling that I'll still get to see him exists.
And with MSN. Yeah. I felt alright yeah.

All the best to you buddy. Hope you grad and change into a reputable drummer at USA.

Next was the japanese. Sigh.. Actually wrote em all a postcard each. With different
japanese messages. Took me like quite a number of hours. When I went to terminal 2, none of the were there yet. Or so we thought. IGS was there too. We waited and waited, till about 11.30, Okumura called my hp finally. I was both relieved yet scared, true enough they had already checked in. Perhaps due to the rain they cancelled some places on the itinery and checked in early.

And so, none of us managed to really get to talk to them face to face or say our last words. Not much of our gifts could be sent in. Sigh.

It was difficult finding them too. none of my group were in sight. It was like a game of luck, we ran all around the viewing mall and stuff, just to try the slightest luck before 12am at least, to see em once.

Then the clock stroke 12, the guys who were spotted finally waved goodbye and proceeded to the plane. It was a terrible feeling for me for I have yet to see any of the guys ive been close with yet. Walked off feeling heavy hearted. Then this phone call came again, private number. This was no ordinary ray of slight hope that struck me. It was Okumura again. I felt like cryin somehow, but i felt that there was a chance, maybe not to see em , but perhaps some last words with my limited jap. They said they would go to the telecom, that moment, my feet instantly carried me towards level 2. I guess this was the first time that I ever conversed in jap so fast, so fluent and quick. All of us decided to meet at the telecom.

And I did see them, throgh that !fucking! piece of glass! haha. I think that was good enough. Took photos through that !fucking! glass and stuff. more and more of them came. That moment will never be forgotten . All of us, both IGS and GCC ppl were so close to the japs, yet so far from them. It wasnt a good feeling, but I guess that was the least we could do to see each other for one last time.

No postcards were given in e end. Sigh. But of course, if theres a will, theres a way. Ill find a way to send them by airmail!

Also, the IGS people have suggested about a proposal for us to go over to kumamoto. I hope it works out! Till then.

=)

sheesh. gonna sleep now. Tonned at the airport for the entire night.

And tommorrow is the day.

Actually I am supposed to be drawin on the orange shirt for ritz right now.
However i feel so drained I have no more energy left for it.

Sigh.so sorry. Perhaps ill do it after some time and mail it over.=)

As for the Kumamoto Japanese friends of mine,
we brought them around various places today.
It was the first time I conversed in jap for almost the whole day.><
TSUKARETA.

Managed to bring them to St Andrews church, to city hall.to esplanade, then to Merlion Park. Then to city hall again, to chinatown. And finally, to Little India.

Its been one LONG day...

Met many familiar faces on the way too. First was Vanessa, at raffles city area during lunch time. Next was Iskhandar.Had a good chat with him. Finally was Suet Nee.
Totally unexpected cus its been ages since I've seen this cousin of mine. She just tagged along, and yeah in no time she's takin all of the Jap's pics and asking their horoscopes and makin fun of them.haha. damn cute la. it was like Pokemons (the japs) being caught by a poke-master (SUET). Totally hilarious.

In just about 8hours I'll be waking up to a day of a double send off at the airport.
Its not like its new for me to send people off at the airport already, just within these few months I have, along with my friends, sent quite a number of people off. Roy, Jack, Jacky back to HK. Then Kazuki, back to japan. Then followed by mako-san,nozumi-san and the rest back to japan too. Tomorrow will be ritz, and my fellow japanese friends from Kumamoto college.

Im sorta getting mixed feelings now.
Im feeling both sad and excited.
But I guess whatever the reason for that is,
I'll stick to my own concept. Be it a long or short period that these friendships have blossomed,Ill be glad that these people once stepped into my life. Memories will be kept, even though the people of these memories are not around you.

And I thank them.
For making that difference in my life.

Just recovered from freaking food poisoning!

Thanks for the CHARCOAL tablets. HAHA

Student Cultural Exchange with K.N.C.T students from Japan was great.
I absolutely Loved the experience.
Rare as it is.
I would always remember this day
My resolution for this year would be to brush up on my japanese fluency.

Friday would be their departure. Im gonna miss all of them.
Friday is also the departure of one of my bestest buddies yeah. RITZ.
Hope everything goes well for you over there at the USA.

Life is so versatile at times.
One moment you have these things, then they vanish when you least expected it.
The only thing you're aware of is your helplessness at controlling these things.
thats why they ask us to cherish
every single moment you spend with the people around you.
cos it might be the first and last.

Was watching the recap of Singapore Idol 2006 earlier on.
Then something came into my mind. Its amazing but even though
Joakim was out, I saw a strong aura of charisma surrounding him, filled with
pain, happiness, sadness and relief.

You know what the media has been saying. People around you. It goes like
he cant sing, he is flat-pitched. Wrong tuning and stuff. You get what I
mean. I was never a fan of Joakim but yeah, I start to see what most people
dont see under that huge pile of critisisms and comments.

Through the entire competition, we know him as the "monkey performer" with
good looks, cute personality blablabla who has no sense of tune. This all turned
out as a joke. From the audience, the judges, even the emcee in a way. We see people
posting videos up on Youtube.com of his performances, with added comments such as "Wow.Sing Like that still so proud.". Not to mention the countless number of insults
hurled at him right under the video on Youtube. Comments to improve are fine, but insults, totally unrefined. It just shows an ugly side about singaporeans, even though thats only a small portion of them. sadly.

Looking at Joakim now, I dare say taht he has certainly grown up alot on his journey through Singapore Idol. He did real well putting up a front when inside he feels that kinda extreme hurt and pain people on national tv inflict on him throught that pool of insults which drowned him. Even after all that, I feel his efforts paid off. You know what its like to try and try, after numerous times you still dont get it right. After all that, you're still a distance from your peers. Trying hard to take in the insults until you feel numb, accepting negative critisisms hurled at you and refining yourself with them. Hey, hell thats NOT AN EASY TASK TO DO.

And yes. After it all. Subconciously, this guy here, probably the worst singer in the entire 12 finalists with a flat-pitch, lousy tuning of vocals and so on, have become someone I really look up to. He may not have anything in him worthy of an idol or a singer, but he has the qualities that make him one. And that alone is outstanding. We could take William Hung for example, he sings real bad. Many actions, and he still is loved by alot. We saw with our own eyes, how this man gave one of the worst type of performances in American Idol , but still, the media flourished him with opportunities, his CD even came out. What this man has, unlike other contestants, is a strong character and good qualities. Im not trying to relate Joakim with him though.haha. I feel that they are worlds apart! x)

HAHAHA.

slacked around with the computer for awhile waiting for somebody to ask me out or something. And yeah, I was draggin evening to come cus I really wasnt keen on going to Krunk at Sentosa. Haha. Just cant help it. was like alone? Dont really know the group im going with. Joshua and Lex both had something on and it feels like a double pangseh kinda thing =(

The next moment,I got a message that there was a urgent last minute INTSC Main comm meeting. woo. Talk about waiting for someone to call me out !

yeah rushed there.etcetc. haha sorry isabelle. i WILL WEAR the RED TSHIRT u guys bought for me one of these days. Swear it across my truthful heart.=)

When the meeting ended it was like already 1.30pm.Rushed back home to get my krunk tic and back to boonkeng mrt to meet gerald. Main motive was to source out cool design books at bras pasar. THERE WERE FREAKING LOADS! It was a designer's heaven I could say. But also at the same time i was lookin for my outfit for the night: Garden Wear. haha. That was one tough task. ChinaTown.Bugis.Village.took so long before i finally see a shirt beach/flowery like! >< THANKS KAMI SAMA.

Also the main reason that i was late. hehe. Overall, I felt Krunk was alright la. Though overall the events of the party was kinda boring, it still went well! Love the models. Kinda liked the group too i think. Wasnt such an awkward feeling afterall. Met a few fun peeps like ben they bday boy, mathew, saliha . haha and the best part. I found so many TP people over there! Alvin neo leadin some spydra freshies, I saw roderick, spotted kaimeng there too. I bumped into gisela, shes not changed a bit.haha. overall, nice! TP OEI! Krunk, made.FUN.
