Ooh! What a familiar feeling!

It's just like right before an exam, when I have tons of things to do and I'm not even close to starting/finishing most of them. Of course, I am really busy attacking games like Big Money and Bejewelled and the Sims 2.

And as usual: I'm so screwed.

Oh My God I am leaving in less than a week and my room is still horribly unpacked and messy, I have no idea what to bring and I'm still completely unprepared!

This sounds like a good time to start panicking.

Silverfish infestation!

They are the most disgusting buggers I have ever set eyes on. Thank god the maid was there to empty out the cupboard and check for them. I stood a few steps away and squealed whenever she found some.

Horrible. :(

So everything's scattered on the floor of the disgusting room now, and I'm not too sure that all the items are completely silverfish-free...

So I've been cleaning my room these few days (well, sorta) and I've learned some things:

1. My room is goddamn disgusting.

2. Hard candy, when left alone in a container for 6 years, turns to liquid. Quite interesting - I was rather curious to find out what was inside.

3. My room is goddamn disgusting.

4. I'm going to need sterile rubber gloves and a gas mask to tackle the rest of the room. The gas mask so that I can spray insecticide at everything while still cleaning, and gloves to handle whatever.

5. My room is goddamn disgusting.

There are some spots which haven't been touched for years, and there were little insects here and there... The damn lizards haven't been doing their jobs! So I've tolerated them in my room all these years for nothing. (I like lizards! They at least have 4 limbs, unlike disgusting too-many-legged insects and arachnids. There was a little "pet" lizard who used to run up my computer screen and try to eat my neopets character and mouse pointer while they were moving, and ate food from my fingers too.)

Ugh.

Oh well, in 15 days I won't have to worry about it all, as it will be my younger bother that will inherit the disgusting room. =)

I will be in Grote Street, where it will be hot and NOT humid, so gross little insects won't be able to chew on stuff. w00tz.

Oh gods help me. D:
15 days to go.

Gods, Brisingr is boring.

"Jormundur wanted to increase Nasuada's guards but she didn't want to and he wanted 12 guards but she wanted 4 and in the end they settled on 6 with representations by various races BLAH BLAH BLAH."

The journey back from Helgrind seemed never-ending, and since he had already separated from Saphira for that one time, WHY must he mope about it when he had to leave her again JUST A FEW DAYS LATER?! What's the goddamn difference??

Granted, Tolkien did have his boring moments - I remember something like 17 pages about the shire's flowers or something like that in the first book of Lord of the Rings, but at least he wrote well. Brisingr, on the other hand, felt like something the author vomited out of his brains without bothering to edit it at all.

I bet he could have fit the rest of the trilogy in one book, if only he'd had a better, ruthless editor to force him to cut out the CRAP which made up most of the third book.

Unfortunately, I still have 250 pages or so more to go. Goddamn dithering dwarves.

Oh gods, I'm terrified now...

I guess it's my fault for being so nosy as to want to read about the 7 most horrifying parasites on the planet. Yeuch.

Now I don't dare to touch myself anymore. In case something manages to crawl up into my eyes from under my fingernails or something.

Oh man. :(

Furthermore, I've been eating a lot these few days and not really feeling full. WHAT IF THERE'S A PARASITE IN MY STOMACH NOW?!?
