today was an absolute blast!
day started off with my chubby sister accompanying me to NTU for HP102 lecture... the lecture was pretty boring.. she survived one hour of it and went to meet sinyao...

after lecture we went to hunt down hall 2's famous waffles! the walk was suppppeeeerrrrrrr long. from canteen B all the way there. i was walking so quickly cos running late for lunch appointment with godma. halfway there i received a msg from a lost sheep: " where are you? "

yea. that was my expression. but anw we shared a piping hot and crispy red bean waffle. cher gave a 10. thats like v wow cos she very diao1 about food. food guru. haha. it was :D then we met godma who works in NTU for lunch. drove all the way into lim chu kang area... meandered through a peaceful country side road, deep in the jungle. and finally arrive at Bollywood! its a vegetable farm. they have this eatery there where they cook with their own freshly planted vegetables, bananas, herbs etc.

you can even pay $2 for a farm tour around the vegetation!

we had banana curry, some chicked curry with lotsa lemon grass and herbs, lemon butter sauce fish, sweet potato leaves with chilli.. and to top it off, we had dessert! 3-in-1 dish, with kueh kosi, tapioca cake and their home made banana cake. the fig tea was also v v refreshing.

everything zero MSG, minimal salt, home cooked style, the freshest ingredients you can ever ask for. wasted i forgot to take pictures there!!!!! i was too busy eating. haha

first experience eating at a vegetable farm man. awesome.

then cher had some kinda 'high' about baking banana cake. she always has such wierd cravings/enthu-ness in doing wierd things. but anw we seriously went to get a bunch of fully riped bananas for a gd price, butter and off we headed to bake bake bake!

omg our baking stint started off pretty bumpy cos we kallang lah bo! haha. v long nvr bake. but once we got the system kicked off.. no one could hold us back man. currently banana cake count : 2!!!! :D

one for our tummies, the other for godma. thinking of baking for darren twan too :D (*sweet gf look ) LOL. the cake was wow... i think taste better than the one at bollywood leh... haha

hello everyone!im finally updating. corrine is such a pig cos she doesnt update. anw finally finally i have pictures to upload (thanks to celia)! haha! first flea market experience, thanks to my dear college, celia,again, who recommended us the place. thanks girl! hell fun:) totally forgot to snap pics while in the flea market. only rmbred to do so before heading off to work. work after shopping....not a good idea. but was fun working on sat night cos no supervisor for once! shioks

we actually planned to help one another create a different look but ended up sticking to our same look. GOSH. haha old habits/styles die hard

work has been fine so far. nothing beats coming home after work everyday. the feeling of just sitting on the sofa, watching tv, having a hot muffin followed by a cold milk. these days will come to a screeching end soon when i start school. i dont think there will even be tv. oh wells good things should be enjoyed and cherished while they still exist.

shall do i quick update before i zoom off for work

last night, or should i say at 5am my stomach became EXTREMELY PAINFUL; those non-diarrhoea kind, just simply very painful. visited the toilet about 3 times to no avail, ended up lying on bed and forcing myself to sleep.

too lazy to get up to run after afternoon shift yesterday. never ever happened before for the past month. feel so ZOMG. but then again after work hopefully have mood to go running. now that mysterious stomachache have disappeared, im feeling more relieved. definitely would not have been able to work with that kinda pain.

morning shift for the rest of the week. waha. i think its for the better because i really start to throw sleepy tantrums during the end of afternoon shift. really gets me sleep. fortunately i rediscovered this game in my phone called - zoo zoo club- which i can play while in the staff room when there are no tourists to attend to and im close to being sleepy and bored to death

HALO CORRINE! wonder what time will she be coming back today. tuesday are her long days. but everytime she tells me what time she ending i always forget and end up asking once again. rah. luckily i have lotsa spare smses. wahah.

why can dogs f*cking bark for so long? like say few hours straight. (through the night, and dont even want to spare the morning) even i cant shout/talk for that long. somebody give me a gun now. PLEASE.

ok i'm hearing some silence now. i dont know how long it'll last but i'm treasuring it as much as a thirsting soul stranded in Sahara Desert who happens to find a small water pit.

its a monday. so fast. sometimes i find myself just wanting to get over a week asap. more often than not, wanting to get over 4 years asap. this rat race of scoring well, otherwise GPA cmi is just so real. working six years for psle, 4 years for o-levels, and 2 crazy years for a-levels.

not that i'm losing steam but i'm just trying to find a purpose in what i'm doing. i wanna rationalise. sometimes things just turn out the way you didn't want it to. i guess this is part and parcel of what i wanna achieve in the future.

cher, driving with dad can be real stressful, been through that phase. take it easy yea. i'll be waiting for our next ride together, you take the wheel :D

DANGGSSSS. driving with my dad is V V STRESSFUL. i drove back from tuas ( dad fetched bro to army camp ). expressway all the way. stressed up. last part when reach home while turning into the house i went to hit the metal rim that is meant for the dustbin and left a dent at the front of the car. YUCKS. reality sinked in. my dad is freaking pissed off. i may have to blow a few hundred bucks to get it fixed? my mum was nice, keep saying NVM. think i shud go into hiatus from driving for a while. 2nd day passing... expressway, mount curb, almost bang into car, couldnt see my right hand side mirrors while driving on expressway. realised only 1/2 way through the journey, dented the car. DANG. this really sucks.

i need to get away from driving for a while. my brain and heart cannot take it. SHUCKS.

i passed my driving test!!!!!

mounting curb during crank course.

I SWEAR that was the last thing that i could imagine to have ever happen. during warm ups everything was ok except the fact that i cross double white line while going out of ubi and didnt know that it was an immediate failure.

After mounting curb i thought that's it alr. why? cos the tester just ask me to go out of ubi most prob thinking:" ah just get over and done with la." out. bang. thats it for me. despite having thoughts like "better faster go book next test date", "how many lessons more to book" etc... i managed to do quite ok driving outside of the circuit. so well... that kinda was what helped me. but most importantly praise the lord. i have a strong feeling he was there putting his hands on the tester hand to tick the pass column. hahah.nahhh kidding la. god's guidance and blesssinggsss. :)

well drivin hoo ha is finally over. so corrine stop calling me a mount kerber. that was the first thing she said when she came home. prob piss cos i totally fooled her. she thought i gone alr. with that big huge blunder... it was really quite natural to think all was over. WHEWWWS.

and you know what? i forgot to bring my phone this morning. so seeing everyone calling/smsing after the test was quite off for me cos i didnt hav my bloody phone. BLAH.

glad that today is my off day. feel v shiok. oh ya oh ya! lieutenant chubby corrine ho did well today. she proposed a killer route in the morning which almost killed me. trottered like a mad ass. i swear. cheers corrine!!!

ok im happy cos i will be able to drive in NZ. my dad will be going with me. and we are going to drive from christchurch to dunedin which is a 5.5 hrs drive? basically we will tour aruond christchurch for a few days first then drive to dunedin to book into my hostel and the exciting part is that my dad will be renting a car! so both of us can drive!!!!!! heheeheheh. excited. i cant wait for that experience. driving with awesome scenary? hehe.

my parents went to malacca this morning. purely a food trip. my parents are there to buy nothing but food food food. major stocking of good food at home by this evening.

updates of work. im quite bored of work!!!!! ...but able to survive. for me.... being able to survive is more impt than being interested. why is work boring??? cos its the same questions and my smiling is v forceful kind...especially being asked the same question over and over again. then you might be thinking some others may spring other questions right? somethin like:" how to get to pulau ular" .... wow so interesting -.-
