Oh it seems as though I haven't blogged in about a year.
Reading through some of my previous blog posts, I seemed so childish in the past.
But I suppose, this is life.
Growing up, moving on, maturing.
A2 was a killer year. I've never ever worked harder in my life.
Hopefully it will all bear fruit on August the 18th.

Global Warming
An Incovenient Truth by Al Gore - a truly eye-opening video about global warming.
I know everyone groans and moans and roll their eyes at the thought of watching yet another global warming video, but this one really tops the charts.
A serious, morally and ethically considered video about global warming and its effects backed valid and thorough scientific research over the past few decades, with some information spanning the last century or so.
A recommended watch or read although I haven't yet read the book, but I feel as though the movie gives quite an impact on its own.
Who knows, it could open our eyes to the real truth that everyone wants to deny because no one really wants to do anything about it.
Plants are dying. Forests are dying. Animals are dying. People are dying. The Earth is dying.
So what are YOU going to do about it?

It's 7.37pm and it has been 27 minutes since prep started and I am soo lazy to do my English Language essay. :X
Did I mention I've been counting clauses for the past one hour? SIGH.
I can't believe that the last time I blogged, I was still in AS.
A2 is so freaking stressful, I'm so not kidding. :(
Interviews, offers, rejections, open days, it's like every day is a battle of wills to not check your emails every second of the day.
I've had this gradual realization since coming to Concord.
That I am actually really dumb :(
So to make up for my stupidity, I need to study real damn hard :'(
I won't blog again anytime soon after this post.
I need to bury myself in books and finish that 647 page Chemistry textbook AND swallow the damn thing whole.
I've been feeling the beginnings of a winter cold, shaking in my shoes everytime I leave my dorm so I assume all these signs point to the fact that it's practically winter.
If anyone ever gets the chance to go to the UK, I'd highly recommend them to try visiting Manchester.
I like it even more than London!
Do drop by if anyone ever comes.
It's a lovely place. :)

Post AS
Okay, first day back to school after exams.
We just finished our AS exams yesterday fyi.
Except for the 6.1 Double Mathematicians, who are withering in jealousy at the rest of us who are done with our exams ;) sorry guys =D
Everyone looks so dead today hahah
Can you believe we already started next year's syllabus?
We're almost done with C3 Chapter 1 == [as you probably can guess, Mrs Jesshope's teaching us C3 and that's how we're zooming through it]
Doing C4 Chapter 1 with Mr Harding
Statistics in Biology with Mrs Marsh
Watching anatomy videos with Dr Braybrook / we might start benzene rings next week =]
Looking through poetry analysis terminology with Mr Woods
Started Economics Unit 3 with Mr Hayward
I wonder what fun thing Mr Lawrence will do with us tomorrow *smiles*
Had a clinical pathologist that came in for first prep today.
His name's Professor Archie Malcolm i think.
It was pretty alright, fascinating at some parts but I had no idea why my eyes went so heavy midway through the talk and my head nearly kissed the table as I dozed off
Everyone else was serious and listening so intently... *gulp*
Well except me and this other guy who fell asleep too!! Hahahahah ;)
2nd prep - UCAS talk, How to Prepare your personal statements
It was so stressful sigh.
I feel like I should be preparing my personal statement IMMEDIATELY after Mr Lawrence's talk.
But that temporary feeling has worn off and now I'm feeling super duper lazy
Hehe.
Had a Bell House meeting last night at midnight (!!)
Only my side though, as usual - Lara, Susan, Jane, Sasa, Charmaine, Esther & I ('cept Esther wasn't there, I wonder where she went)
Filled in my Travel Arrangements Form to go home already =D =D
I can't believe I'm going home in...... 16 days!!!!! =] =] =]
Almost 2 weeks now!!! I can almost smell the Malaysian air!!! Hearts! >
Omg I miss home and my dogs and my parents and the food and my maid!!!!! ): ):
I miss my cousin tooo!!! She always brings me out after she finishes work (which is pretty late!)
She'd call and say "Clare! I finish work! I need to buy barang! Wanna go out??"
Me : "Yeah!!!!!!!!! :) :)" *yells* "DAD!! MOMM!!! I'm going out with Poshy! Okay??"
And Dad and Mom would be like "Whatever!"
Hahahah we go out till like midnight and stuffff and my parents don't minddd hehehe
Cos my coz is super responsible! :3
Sigh I miss home like madness!
The nostalgia, especially now after exams, when I'm almost combusting in boredom.
Hahahaha ;)
Oh well, grateful that exams are over.
Fingers crossed for good results!
