I was VERY excited to receive this way cool lamp from my oldest daughter.

This month marks my 3 year blogavesary.

I don't know about y'all, but I never thought I'd last this long.

...and yet another reason why I call it Hell

We're currently under tornado watch and flood warnings in our county. The sirens are going off. My husband called and they have the college students in the hallways. I'm at work in my cozy little office.

The radio just informed me that the warnings have been extended until noon.

It's around 68 degrees.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is snow.

Good grief!

Please explain

how a 61 year old college professor has the unfortunate habit of creating far too many "D'oh!" moments?

I chose the furniture and rugs and some of the accessories,
but my oldest daughter actually did the
decorating. Putting everything together
and doing
all the little things that make the room special (to me).

She's really talented and so wonderful
about helping me out with
decorating.
