Brynn's first haircut!!!

I have been waiting to cut Brynn's hair so that it could grow out enough to make a difference! We thought we better take her to Cookie Cutters for her first haircut like we did for Kajsa! Just to be fair! Simon had the day off from work, so we made a family outing out of it! I thought she would be just fine and think it was fun! Didn't happen! As soon as we put her in the cool blue car, she was just as quick trying to get out! Even a sucker didn't pacify her, so we tried an Elmo movie and still she was not very happy! Then after a few minutes she was fine! About an inch or two were cut off, but you can't tell too much! She still has some cute curl left at the bottom!

Things not looking so fun!

Then the squirt bottle came out and that was it! I use the squirt bottle all the time at home to fix her hair and she never makes a fuss!

Then she was fine after she got into the movie a little bit!

I just need to get the after picture! Forgot to do that the same day!

Where has this month gone...

I knew as soon as Christmas was over and all the decorations put away, that my last 6 weeks of pregnancy would fly by! We got the chance to stay with our niece and nephews while Simon's brother and sister-in-law went on vacation! I was a tad bit nervous thinking I would be a parent of 6 kids and 8 months pregnant for a week! But of course the kids were good and everything went smoothly! The girls loved playing with their cousins and getting to know them better!

These two had some fun times!

I love all their poses!

These next pictures are funny! I told them to give each other a hug, but Kajsa didn't like the hug Anders gave her and I think she thought she was going to fall off the couch! At least by the face she is making!

So she stormed off to the other couch!

Then pouted some! Oh, girls and their drama!

So now we are just waiting for baby girl #3 to make her debut! Anytime between now and the 17th! (Hopefully not on Brynn's b-day!)

My Big Girl

Kajsa is now officially a Sunbeam in Primary! She loves being able to see her other friends that are older than her! She enjoys going every week so far! She hasn't mentioned missing playing with toys in nursery! But I know that her little sister sure has been missing her. Just this past week as soon as the closing prayer was said in Sacrament meeting, Brynn started crying because she knew it was time for nursery!

The best picture I could get of her!

New Year's Eve

Some friends of ours invited us over for New Year's Eve! They have two girls the same age as our girls and so the plan was to try and get them to sleep so we could enjoy staying up! I wasn't too sure on how that was going to work. We got the beds ready for my girls so that they would get used to the idea of going to sleep there. I guess this counts as their first sleep-over even though they slept for just a few hours!

The four trouble makers!

Brynn thought she was pretty big stuff laying in a BIG bed! (sort of)

I love how Ari is looking at Kajsa!

Some entertainment to get them calmed down before bedtime!

After the girls were sleeping we played some Mario Brothers on the Wii. (Which I am terrible at! I don't do too well at video games!) Then before we knew it, it was almost midnight! Laura and Dirk scrambled to find their fancy glasses and we poured some sparkling apple juice! It was a fun New Year's Eve! Thanks Laura and Dirk!

A toast to 2010!

Christmas Festivities!

Better late than never!!!!

We enjoyed an early Christmas with most of my family a week before Christmas! Don't have any pictures. :(

Then on Christmas Eve we went to Simon's parents house and enjoyed a grand feast fit for a king! Mmmmm...my mouth is watering just thinking about all the yummy food.

Jenny doing a great job at trying to teach the kids how do play Jingle Bells with chimes! Let's just say we probably won't be doing those again until all of the kids are 8 and over!

Santa (Farfar) came to visit and brought all the kids a little present!

Kajsa was very excited about her Barbie movie! Good thing because she told me she asked Santa for a Barbie, when all the shopping was already done!

Brynn was excited for her turn!

Then I told her to give Santa a hug! She would only go close to him when there were other people around him!

One of the most delicious things! Swedish semlor! Pure goodness!

We got to enjoy Christmas morning in our own home! It was nice to not feel pushed to go anywhere at a certain time!

One of the few good pictures I even took on Christmas! Kajsa rocking out with her new guitar!

We did venture out to eat some of the many leftovers from the night before at Farmor and Farfar's!

Kajsa and Björn finishing off the leftover whip cream!
