Cat + Fish = Sushi

This was Paige's most beloved pet fish Poseidon. She saved her money up & bought the tank & fish.

Paige loved her fish so very much

She loves all animals BIG & small

This is the stray cat that got lucky, found a home & recieved the name Pepper because Paige loves animals so much & her parents are way to kind!

Pepper ate Poseidon as sushi the other day and left the head on the floor for Paul to find after Paige found her fish missing from it's tank, water all over around the tank and the lucky cat Pepper lounging in her room taking a siesta because it's sushi was so good!

BAD KITTY!!!

Paige survived although she was pretty upset but lucky for her we got her a new one...with a NEW tank that has a lid to keep other paws with claws out.

This is Neptune, lets hope he doesn't turn into Sushi too ;)

long live NEPTUNE!

Noah's series of unfortunate events

Noah has had an interesting series of events that have happened since Friday!

1st we took him to the dentist on Friday and found this

the egg like tooth you see is his "EXTRA" tooth. It grew right between the two front teeth. This little thing was making his two front teeth spread apart and make room for it's appearance. Because of this bad boy one of his future top front teeth is turned sideways. (It's the shark like tooth above the egg tooth) Anyway because of the "extra" tooth we pulled the two front teeth and the extra tooth and his mouth now looks like this

minus my finger of course!

he was a trooper and now he can sing that famous song, " All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"

This event wasn't too bad. It may become worse as he gets older but only time will tell.
TODAY however has been a bit rough on sweet Noah.

It all started with play time at recess.
Something so fun and joyous...how could it turn so ugly?
WELL...it can and did!
He got in a little fight with the jungle gym and the jungle gym won.

it's not super horrible but between the missing two front teeth, his chapped lips with the blister and this sweet black eye he looks like he's been beat up! :)

*(4 hours later or about that)*

sweet, calm & quiet sneaky, naughty & obnoxious Ben decided that Noah needed a shot!
He took this

which alone, is a perfectly harmless metal beater. It helps produce goodies and yummy treats and other things to eat for all to enjoy, but today it was a needle giving Noah a shot into this

his ear!
Lets just say we heard the screaming, Ben was sent to time out sent to eternity in a very hot place,

(if you are concerned you seriously don't understand my humor and their was no harming of children in anyway...we love children so much in fact we had 5!!!)
&
Family Home Evening started with an amazing amount of peace and love fighting and crying.
Thankfully FHE ended on a fairly happier note.
Noah's mouth, his eye and ear all are doing better...could it get any worse (did I seriously type that just now)! It could, but as for today...lets just hope not!!!!

did I mention we have 5 kids and how much we love and adore them...just checking ;)

Merry Christmas 2011

So Christmas is around the corner and I have yet to post ANYTHING from the summer...or anything for that matter. With tending to 5 kids and their homework (which I can barely understand) and hanging with all my friends I rarely have a moment (which is kinda a lie cause I am so super lazy)So really I am just lazy and all my pictures go straight to facebook or the pictures never happen. I am just lame ;) So I am adding a few pictures to hopefully suffice to those who actually read my blog for at least a month...or more :)

In September my 3 oldest (Paige, Madeline & Noah) all went to school full time. I was overjoyed sad  to have them gone all day.

Paul too started school again. Year 2 of his doctorate program...When he's home, which is rare he is either sleeping studying or working in his "office" which he made in the garage.

So most of the day it is me and my two easiest and laid back little boys.
Ben who is now 4

and Luke who is 2. We are loving all this quiet around here from 9-3!

So life just keeps plugging along for all 7 of us. I'm constantly busy but it works and we love it!Nothing amazing or interesting really has changed. But just in case you missed out on all that has happened I will recap (no pictures) of a few things. NOT everything cause not only will that be so totally boring but who wants to hear about it!

  • Paige goes to Tom McCall, an upper elementary school with only 5th & 6th graders. It's about as big as my old highschool!
  • Paige is in a club at school
  • Madeline did soccer
  • Madeline had to stop soccer due to a broken wrist
  • Madeline is in 3rd grade but doing 4th grade spelling
  • Noah turned 6
  • Noah can read
  • Ben learned to write his name
  • Ben loves having tv, mommy, computer all to himself
  • Luke turned 2
  • Luke pretty much is in the process of potty training himself
  • Paul is in his 2nd year of doctorate school and working 3 various jobs LDS family services, a program through his school called SIBS and his college teaching job which will start in January at Merrilhurst (spelling unknown). He still manages to pull almost all A's which I'm so super proud of him!
  • Paul has gained weight (those oreo's get him everytime)
  • Jenny lost as much as 22lbs and still losing
  • Jenny hangs out with all her awesome friends-all the time!
ANYWHO!

Life is in a good place...not easy but good. We are and have been so very blessed especially these past year or so. We wish all of you the best and the most happiest Christmas EVER!

MERRY CHRISTMAS
with much love,

Paul, Jenny, Paige, Madeline, Noah, Ben & Luke

FYI: Each one of us looks exactly how our personalities seem to be.
Paul-annoyed smile for having to pose and get all dressed up
Me- ummm this is my usual look, happy :)
Paige-like father like daughter
Madeline- totally cool & sass
Noah- sweet sweet boy
Ben-so shy (I will not look directly into the camera but just off to the side and I will only give half a smile)
Luke- center of attention, CHEESE!!!

Lazy blogger I am!

It has come to my attention that I have NOT been to my blog site for many months! Christmas time to be exact!!! Has it really come to that? Oh golly!! I have plans to spend time (hours if needed) to update all of you (if any of you still read this) so you may see all the things that I do.  Perhaps this will motivate me to take pictures again...so as soon as I get dressed and have a little visit from my visiting teachers this fine morning. I will go through my many pictures and try to do a recap of our life since Christmas (lots have happened) and then try to stay ontop of my blog and pictures for the most part since thats what people really like ;)
wish me luck cause since the've changed the blog it seriously takes 5 minutes to download 1 picture! OH JOY!!!!
Toodles for now
