Feeding fish from a bottle

I'd have to say this was the highlight of my Chengdu experience so far. The kids and I went to a place near the river with some friends to feed fish. They gave the kids a bottle attached to a PVC pipe. It was bazaar. They stuck the sticks in the water and a swarm of fish flocked to the bottle. Some fish would get pulled half way out of the water holding onto the bottle. Others got so excited they jumped right out of the water. It was such a weird sensation holding a bottle for the fish. They also had a little bucket of tiny fish the kids could catch with a small net and transfer them into another bowl.

Sophia's first...

Sophia came up to me on Saturday and said she wanted to bare her testimony at church. (Her and Tate got up last testimony meeting) She then reads this to me. She wrote this all on her own. I was impressed so I arranged for her to give the talk in Primary the next day. This is the first talk she wrote and said all by herself.
Sophia wrote this all on her own
(Translation: "I am glad that my Heavenly Father (in her talk she said Jesus) could die for me so that I could live in this beautiful earth together as a family. I know that I can be like Jesus forever.")

Nolan's 2nd birthday

In order of events....
Birthday fun...playing at a kids play area

A little of Tate

Tate keeps me on my toes every day. He is always moving and needs someone to play with him. If something goes wrong we all know about it and it is almost impossible to console him.

Going shopping with Tate and a friend. Look who we saw!!

Waiting for Sophia at the bus stop           Gearing up for playing outside :-)
