what im about to say in this post concerns the lives and deaths of many innocent animals out there.
i just read an email about animals being skinned alive.and i really mean alive as in heart still pumping and are still capable of breathing.[http://www.furisdead.com/feat/ChineseFurFarms/]
the animals[eg:foxes, minks, rabbits, racoons.etc] are according to the source,captured in one of the many Chinese fur farms in China.they are tortured in such a way that skin and fur are peeled out from their legs(and they're alive,mind you).but before that,these animals are thrown on the ground or hard surfaces or being hit by metal rods,so much so that they suffer from broken bones and seizures,to ensure that they aretoo weak to fight back.if these poor creatures try to escape in the process,the cruel workers will stomp on their necks and heads.when the helpless animals are finally skinned alive,they are thrown into a pile of other skinless,bloody carcasses.however the most heart-wrenching fact is that those that have been just thrown into the pile,did not die immediately.the heart still pumps,but slowly and torturingly,leaves the world.
in many cases,these fur farms are banned from visiting.undercover investigators took a close step to find out why.they saw the brutality the harmless creatures faced but could not do anything as there are no regulations governing fur farms.meaning that these vicious acts done to the animals are not punishable in China.i strongly feel very dispirited as these animals deserve as much rights as humans do.in fact any living thing has the equal rights as much as the humans.

more saddening facts are that animals in captive are thrown into outdoor cages,exposing them to continuous rain,cold nights and scorching sun.some "mothers" could not take the emotional and physical turmoil became crazy,after giving birth to their young,they would kill them.it is a sad fact,but honestly speaking,i would rather her young to be killed immediately than grow up and get tortured by those heartless aliens.and some would go crazy and throw themselves repeatedly against the cage bars and even chew on their limbs.see how humans drive animals over the edge?imagine if these animals were human beings,would you sit and watch them die?

then when i scrolled down,thats where it angered me. it said : "a fur's origin can't be traced".why? because of the many fucked up unregulated fur farms and the policy of the globalization of the fur trade,making it impossible to know where fur products come from.worse still,skins of animals move through international auction houses and are purchased and distributed to manufacturers around the world, and finished goods are often exported.and it has been supported with substantial evidence that China supplies more than half of the finished fur garments imported for sale in the United States.Even if a fur garment's label says it was made in a European country, the animals were likely raised and slaughtered elsewhere—possibly on an unregulated Chinese fur farm.

so i urge the people to stop buying fur,because when those businessmen see a demand in fur,animals will be sacrificed.why do you have to wear fur?because it looks luxurious and glamorous because it cost a bomb?but think deeper people,you are sacrificing animals for your vanity.dont you feel the least bit guilty?imagine if one day the animals took a liking to human skin and they skinned us just the same way as we do to them,would you like that?

[i watched halfway.i cant continue on.it breaks my heart to see the poor racoon being tortured in the most gruesome way.can you imagine if by seeing this video,you still want to continue purchasing fur,you are really not fit to be a human.as i typed this,tears are streaming down my face as i have never imagined that they are skinned so ruthlessly.and there are so many of these defenceless creatures still suffering as i type this.i hope all of their misery would be put to an end as fast as possible.i hope that the fur-buyers would read and realise they have stained their hands with innocent blood indirectly and stop buying fur.]

today,brenda is not here in school with us.
our threesome group was broken because she flew to China this morning.
i miss her alot.
sigh,she will be there all the way till next friday.
maybe she will fall in love with Yaoming like i did when i went to China.HAHAHA
and tonight still got english tuition.
but nevermind,because tomorrow morning i will be meeting pearline for our weekly healthy jog.
=)
we need to shed those irritating kilos.
haha
im looking forward for the M.holiday to come.
and also looking forward to brenda's return.
and also looking forward to M.holiday to be over**

her voice calms me entirely.
haha.
dont know how she does it.
does her voice give you the same effect as i do too?
must listen to her at least twice a day.
sounds like im prescribed a drug,huh?
maybe i am.haha.

i have decided to aim for Temasek Poly.
and also decided to put Psychology course as my number one choice.
dont ask me why,i probably just feel that its interesting to study why anyone would do a certain action or behaviour.
