San Diego Super Chargers!!

JJ was given some free Charger tickets and since I too am a fan we took Addyson and went. It was so fun, we won, and our little Charger girl just loved it.

Here she is being brainwashed at a very early age.

Tooth Fairy Strikes Again

FINALLY!! Jorden, thanks to a little bribing pulled out his first tooth. That tooth was just hanging there and looked so gross, I had to use my mommy powers to get him to take it out. He is really growing up.

Our newest soccer player

Here in our town soccer starts at three. So we let Axel have a shot at it. He did great at it in the beginning. He loved chasing after the ball and kicking it in the goal.

He loved being on the same team as his cousin AJ.

Then thwe game started and someone else kicked the ball away.
He is doing much better, we can almost make it through three-quarters of the game before the tears turn on. Of course we do bribe with the occasional ring pop.

Rain Gutter Regatta

This was our very first Rain Gutter Regatta. Thankfully regattas don't require as much work as Pine Wood Derby racer so the boys only had to paint and then pick a design for the sail. Michael drew his own and Gunnar picked a skull and cross bone which he begged dad to draw for him. This is the final race of the night for 1st and 2nd place. Can you guess who won?

And first place went to Gunnar, yep it is true, Michael was only slightly disappointed (slight exaggeration) but the night went well and all the boys had a great time.

Jorden turned 6. I can't believe he is that old already!! He is really growing up and turning into a big boy.

Here are the two birthday boys with their new pillow pets. Yes Jorden did order the lady bug one. I thought it was adorable.

AJ and Axel, along with their cousin Bryce, turned 3! Bryce doesn't live here so we celebrated with just Axel and AJ. Aunt Kimmie planned the football party and we all had a great time.

Here is our homemade football pinata. Did you know that if you try to find a football pinata after opening day there are none to be found?

First day of School

This year we had 3 boys going to school. Michael in 5th, Gunnar in 3rd, and Jorden in Kindergarten. It was one exciting day.

Cliff jumping was one of the highlights. Her we have from left to right, Scott, Kim, Gunnar, Grandpa, Michael and JJ, with Arnie and AJ in the water.

Marler Family Reunion 2010

We had such a great time at Lake Powell here is the group minus the Jackson's, and the Volk's. The Jackson's left before the picture and the Volk's couldn't make it. But we all had so much fun. We skied, wake boarded, tubed, jumped cliffs, ate, swam, played in the water, built sand castles, played minute to win it, and some sign game (Arnie was the best at this one), volleyball, kayaked, and slept. It was great.

Marler Family Reunion 2010

This year at Lake Powell all of my boys got up on wakeboards. Here is JJ doing a flip.

Here is Michael catching some air. He really has improved since last year. It was so fun to watch him go in and out of the wakes and try to jump them.

Gunnar didn't want to be shown up by Jorden so he gave his all and had a very successful time of it.

Here is Jorden our youngest wakeboarder yet. We were so proud of his will power. He just wouldn't give up until he mastered it.

Axel even had to have a turn, here is JJ holding him on the wakeboard. Every time JJ went outside the wake Axel would say, "Please don't fall Daddy." How cute is that. And you know what he never fell. Daddy was amazing and Axel looked great out there.

Addyson's Blessing Day

On July 18th, 2010, JJ and my 13th anniversary, we blessed our little Addyson Rebecca. She was so good and quiet, in fact she slept through the whole thing. She was perfect. I just love having a girl.

Here is a picture of her whole dress. My mom and mother-in-law purchased this dress for her and I absolutely love it. I wish she had more occasions to wear it. Hopefully she will like it enough to keep for her daughter. Also the blanket she is on was made by her great-grandma Dollie Hawkins.

And here is our attempt at a family picture. Axel fell asleep and Addyson woke up and only wanted to eat so there was no cooperation from her.

Happy 8th Birthday Gunnar

Gunnar turned 8 this year. He was so excited!

Here he is with dad on his baptism day. He couldn't wait to be baptized. We are so proud of him.
