Meet Charlotta Wadman, a Swedish crocheter who makes you travel to her beautiful country through her nature-inspired artworks.
She mixes leaves and flowers both natural and crocheted in her pictures making a marvellous composition. Another thing that called my attention is her delicious collection of crochet covered stones.
Learn more about Charlotta and fall in love with her yarn garden as I did!
Please tell us a bit about yourself.
Hi, I'm Charlotta or Lotta for short. I love crafts and the nature. I also enjoy surfing and snowboarding. I'm a wife and a mother of two. I work as a software engineer.
What’s your favourite thing to crochet for others?

What’s your favourite thing to crochet for others?
That would be amigurumis. They are pretty quick to make and kids love them.
What would you like to crochet that you haven’t made so far?
I would like to try to make more garments. I have only tried scarfs so far.
How do you come up with your designs?
I find a lot of inspiration in the beautiful nature where I live but also from color combinations that I find in everyday life.
Can you give any advice to someone who wants to learn how to crochet?
My tip is to join a CAL. That was what took my crocheting several steps forward. You'll learn lot's of new things and will have a forum where you can ask questions.
Why did you decide to start a blog? How did you come up with the name?
I wanted a place to share my work so I though that a blog would be the easiest way. The name comes from my interest for crochet and flowers. It popped up in my head while sitting in my backyard crocheting :)
