White Elephant-

The Love side of the family,
James' moms side always has
a white elephant party right before Christmas.
We enjoyed going.

A couple of highlights of the party:
Santa visited and gave each of the kids presents!
Jarom had a reaction to something...
he had a red face and was coughing something fierce.
I was getting worried.
Benadryl did the trick.
Phew!
James gave away his christmas present from me
as a white elephant gift.
It is quite the story.
We did get it back,
after we drove clear to his uncles house to get it.
Christmas was saved!
We lucked out on the white elephant gifts.
We got a cool Star Wars Trouble game,
which our kids already love playing,
and a Cafe Rio gift card.
SCORE!!!

Festival of Lights.

We love Spanish Fork.
Living here has been great for us.
It such a family friendly place.
We love how the city invests money
into an awesome splash park,
new shops, downtown activities,
and so much more.
This year we attended the
Festival of Lights, the city put on.
It was so neat!
We loved it.
When we got back we enjoyed
snowball cookies and homemade
hot chocolate.
A great night!

Christmas Program>

Tyrell's kindergarten class put on a Christmas program.
It was so cute.
They had all their songs memorized and it was so well done.
Tyrell loves to sing and did a fantastic job.
My favorite was
"I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas!"
We got some pictures of Tyrell walking down the hall
after the program.
Their teachers have them puff out their cheeks
so they don't talk
and cross their arms so they don't touch each other.
Hilarious.
I am so grateful for his wonderful charter school
and his fabulous teachers!!!

Sweet Moments>

Today was one of those days.
So many sweet moments
that I want to cherish forever.
Oh these boys,
they keep me on my toes.
How I love them!

 Moments of the day:
Tyrell and Jarom acting like Popeye.
Getting spinach out the fridge,
eating it,
and showing their muscles.
Tyrell took spinach for his snack at
school.
Seriously, I have the healthiest kids around.

Lately, everything is "stinky" to Lance.
Today he needed a banana after his nap.
I gave him one,
but failed to notice that it was way over its expiration date.
"AHHH stinky banana"
was all I heard.
That black banana was marched right into the garbage.
Lance would have none of that!
Oh I laughed so hard.
Tyrell singing Christmas songs all day long
Every classic song, he knows it.
I love to hear him sing.
I put a note in his lunch box last week.
I told him to have a good day and
that I loved him.
My mom used to do that for me.
Since then he has been leaving
James and I notes.
So cute.
I love seeing his kindergarten handwriting
and deciphering the spelling.

And Jarom has been such a big helper.
He helped me fold the laundry,
put it away,
washed the dishes (his style),
and helped with dinner.
Seriously he is something special.
We got a new nebulizer for him since
we are switching insurance plans this next year.
It was free so why not.
I haven't had time to put it together, so Jarom did it for me.
I couldn't believe he did it all by himself.
I asked him if he fixed that
and he replied,
"Yeap, I thinkeded about it!"
Way to think Jarom!!

Love my boys!
How did I get so lucky?

Christmas Lights-

Jarom insisted on having Christmas lights in every room.
He tried to hang them himself,
a bit tricky...
thank goodness daddy was there to help.
Every night, he stares at the lights in his room.
A child after my own heart.
He loves, loves, loves the lights.
I just know he will be sad when we take them
down after Christmas.
So lately, they have been falling asleep
with the Christmas lights on-
due to Jarom's request.
What a wonderful way to fall asleep!

Night in the CITY>

Tonight
we had a fabulous
date night.
A night in the big city-
Salt Lake City.
It is not very often that we go there.
We went to the Christmas Concert
with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Alfie Boe,
oh gosh what an amazing voice.
Not to mention we sat four rows behind
Mitt Romney.
We enjoyed a night of good food,
good company, and
good music.
Thanks to James' parents for
the great tickets.
What a great way to start the holidays!!!

FINALS.

Finals are over.
Class is out for 3 weeks.
Kind of bitter sweet.
I enjoy my night classes,
although a break will be nice.
I ACED all my tests.
Anatomy included.
Gosh, I love that class.
Reflexology- check
Professional Development- check
CORE- check
Anatomy and Physiology- check
Surprisingly, I aced them all, even though
I didn't have time to study at all.
That is what you call having
four kiddos around.
I said lots of prayers.
Can't wait to learn more!
Love what I am doing!!!

Date. Night.

Lately our date nights have consisted of
11:30 PM,
after class.
SUDOKO.
BLUEBERRY SCONES,
vegan of course.
MISS EVALETTE,
crashing the party.
Of course, we regret our rash
decision of staying up so late
the next morning...
7 AM,
"Everybody go back to bed!"
