Jakers first haircut. It was a team effort. My friend, Michelle and her son Darian worked it together and got the job done. Go Bomono's! I was feeding Jakers while he was getting his hair done, but Jake was more interested in Darian. So, I gave up my job and tended to Colin instead. Jake actually did an awesome job. Surprised me for sure. What a handsome kid. What nice friends!

Jake's First Haircut

Look who lives here...the little guys in my life
They stack, build, throw, and scattered the blocks all over the house.
I love to watch their cute little faces as they explore, and wander with baskets or buckets of treasures they have found. Jake is more of a "mover" or "transportor" of objects, and Colin is more of a "stacker" or "builder" of objects. Each one has such a unique personality. I love my boys!

Poo Poo in the Potty
At 14 months, Colin took his first poop in the toilet. Danny was eager to help, and Jake stood by in the background wanting a turn. It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, and all the kids were playing in the living room. Soon, I noticed the "look" on Colin's face and ran him off to the bathroom. We all cheered and sang Hooray! for his first successful trip to the toilet. Can you believe it?

Savy Rainy Day Science Project
Well, it was a rainy day today. On our way home from Sonic (picnic in the car), Danny asked where rain came from. He is "Mr. Question Friend" nonstop. So, we got on the internet and printed out a water cycle chart and colored it. Meanwhile I found some cool preschool science projects. Fun day inside, I must say!

Today, Tuesday Jan. 20, 2009
Today, Inauguration Day, I made aprons with two pockets. One pocket is for trash, and the other is for little treasures I find.
(We probably need to work harder to keep our money now Obama is in charge...Oh, wait...I don't...he will take care of eveything... he will pay my mortgage, and buy my gas) Sorry to express my political views on the blog.

Playing with Grandpa Pugmire
Sorry about the pictures, it was so bright outside, I didn't even notice the shutters weren't open all the way. Anyway, Grandma and Grandpa Pugmire came by for a visit on their way back to Utah. It was pretty neat to have them over. The kids, of course, loved every minute with Grandpa pulling the wagon. We don't get visitors very often, so this visit was a highlight of our day!
