Alright I sound incoherent now yeah.
Okay it's like that. I was at my Dad's friend's house last night and we were watching CCTV Lunar New Year Countdown. AND then my dad told me Lu Chen and Superband were going to perform! (And Jay Chou too for that matter, but I don't care much about that. Hehh.) Can you imagine my excitement! :DDD

ANYWAY. Could see that LC was nervous, but he still executed the tricks pretty well. (: There was the good ole ring in egg magic, and teleportation of a coin. I was reading articles online just now and apparently during the 6 rehearsals (all the performers had to go through that), he performed a different set of tricks for every single rehearsal. And he never failed to wow the audience. :D PRO RIGHT? RIGHT.

THEN SUPERBAND!!! They got the loudest cheer and probably the loudest applause? (Lu Chen received tremendous applause too.) In fact, it was the first time I heard the audience screaming and cheering during the CCTV Lunar New Year Countdown! (HAH to the cowboy... Sorry can't help it. :D)
And then they performed. They never fail to touch me with their music, somehow. =/ Perhaps I'm just a sucker for oldies. :D Jonathan Lee (李宗盛) sings like he's telling a story, and he reminds me of my grandpa haha. Adorable old guy! Okay keep it a sercret. :D Lo Ta-yu (羅大佑) wrote loads of 校園歌曲, he's a legend lah. 'Nuff said. I think his new hairstyle is quite unflattering. 0.0 I listened to Wakin Chou (周華建)'s songs when I was a kid. Okay my mum made me. XD Still. (: Ayue (張震嶽 - I keep typing his Chinese name wrongly, IDKY.) is the rocker with a bad ass image! I <3 his songs!!! (: He seems so quiet and meek with the other three.
They sang 真心英雄 (Actually I want to hear 永恒的小鳥！XDDDDD), 親親我的寶貝, 童年 and 亡命之徒 (but the Chinese censor renamed it 出發 0.0). :D

I'm sorry, but I don't see why anyone should make a distinction between 'old' and 'new' fans (or pre-hiatus/post-hiatus fans). I mean, so what if you are an old fan? Does that make you 'special/different' in any way? And so what if you are a 'new' fan? Does that mean you are less of a fan than the supposed 'older' fans? In the first place, what makes a fan 'old' or 'new'? Is it the time length of fandom or the maturity level or the types of songs one likes or even, age? I know I sound like a bitch, but I think there's some kind of stereotype? segregation? in the Singapore MD community these days (or perhaps I was living in bliss all along) and I don't like it one bit.
Even a decade later, I doubt I would call myself an 'old' fan, it's not something I would wear on my body like some bloody cool rank.

Yesterday went to get new retainers. And guess what? Over the radio I heard a song with a nice melody, which turned out to be a new single by 縱貫線! TEH superband which consists of 李宗盛，儸大佑，周華建 AND 張震岳 (A-yue)! :D
