I need to write a quick update.
Sorry there won't be any pictures again, with the move I havn't been able to find my camera to computer cable. So hopefully soon but not today.
We are still diligently working on our house. This week the hardwood floors got finished! This weekend and next week we are planning on some painting, tiling, and carpet!!! It is coming together and its really exciting to see it improve and look livable again! Even with all the fun things we're doing on the inside I can't help but be most excited about the potential possibilities of our back deck and yard! I know that's kinda funny , and i truly do love and appreciate how great everything does and will look on the inside, but it's true! I need to stop and really thank everyone who's helped us so far on the house- we couldn't do it without you!
We are slowly becoming accustomed to 'not being village dwellers.' We miss our great friends already and the whole village atmosphere but this new adventure is proving worthwhile. It is a somewhat bizarre change, especially our first week in a very established family ward. Our new ward is pretty impressive, all our neighbors rave about it and we really enjoyed our first week. I almost feel like a traitor to the village in saying that I am pretty sure we'll come love it too : )
As far as pregnancy news goes, I'm growing bigger and bigger. Guess that's not really news, its expected- but it's new to me! We both are kind of uncomprehending that I still have 3 more months and I'll still get bigger- it's just not something I can imagine (even though I don't feel very big yet trying to picture my baby belly bigger is just a bit too much for me). so far I love being pregnant, it's an incredible experience! It's fun to imagine our little girl and what we'll name her and how she'll look and act. For all of you who are curious we still have not decided on a name, and even when we do we might not tell you ; )
Other news: Chad's job search continues, gratefully he's still employed but we'd both enjoy a change and a step closer to his career direction. We're really enjoying staying with his parents while we're working on our house, we'll be here thru christmas probably so that will be fun!
We're excited to have my oldest brother back in the states! We've missed him and so have his wife and kids!
We attended the motab Christmas Concert and it was a lot of fun! We agreed that our favorite part was the organ solo, talk about talent!
I have really loved this holiday season, the various activities that we've already participated in have been wonderful and we look forward to our upcoming celebrations! We hope all of you feel the spirit of this season and find joy in the celebrations and service this time brings to our lives!

Happy Thanksgiving
This will be short but I wanted to write and tell everyone that I am very grateful for all our blessings. We are truly blessed,
and thankful for our new house!
Yes, we finally got a house! It's a cute little 3 bed 1 bath and needs some work and fixin but will be perfect for us hopefully soon!
I hope all of you have enjoyed this holiday and been able to eat heartily and spend time with family!

November
I can hardly believe it's November!
This is our last month in the Village.
What an experience. Being surrounded by fellow students and living in the same conditions! Having the bowl in our front yard, and just a great outdoor environment all together to help compensate for the cinderblock walls on the inside. Paying for laundry with quarters, having maintenance jimmy-rig everything. Getting to know families from so many different parts of the country and world! For a while trying to work a full-time job and take classes full-time. Doing homework and cramming for finals. Hand-washing dishes. Constantly fighting dust-bunnies. Sledding the hill. Playing softball. Going to play group. Watching half our ward leave every semester end and meeting a new half ward the next week. Seeing the trends in pregnancies and births. Living with an ominous sounding window air conditioner, and an apartment that stays the same temperature no matter what you do. Helping friends clean and move out or just switch apartments.
I tell you what, it is not an experience we'll forget, and we have loved it!

October Fun
I think my favorite part about this time of year is the food. (Which might be accentuated by being pregnant...)
Any way, last night we made some fantastic, if messy, caramel + white chocolate apples and pretzels! They were so tasty! I love the tart apple with the overly sweet chocolate and gooey caramel, mmm! roll them in cinnamon and sugar = delectable!!!
I could almost eat them all by myself - thanks to my siblings I won't need to do that ; )
Yesterday I also branched out and made my mom's recipe for chicken (white) chili. I remembered how much I loved it when she made it, and thought that making it for our ward chili cook-off/Halloween party would be a perfect time to enjoy it again!
So much good food! I can't leave out the pumpkin chocolate cookies either- love them!

news
alright so I will not be working at Modern with Mom - bummer!!! But that means that I can stay home, let my toes get really cold, pack a box here and there, read, yah whatever.
For those who have not heard, we found out last Friday that we are having a beautiful baby girl! The ultrasound was absolutely amazing! It was so fun to see her wiggling around and see that she's healthy and perfect! the US dr. said he could look at her all day and I quite agree with him- he took tons of pictures for us -Thanks!
just to tease... we might be moving soon. Nothing official yet but we are trying to purchase a home and the prospects look good. I'll let you know when something substantial one way or the other happens.

I wanted to write quickly this morning and apologize in advance. I'm pretty sure that in the upcoming months I won't be blogging much, which should be ok because not much should happen...
Well we might find a house and we might get a new jobs- So if any of those things happen I will post. But if postings are few and far between now you're all aware.
I should post again in a couple weeks after we find out if we're having a boy or a girl so you'll all hear from me then.
Any who in the last little while-
I loved conference, so many of the messages really hit home for me. I've started packing boxes, though we have nowhere to go yet we still have a deadline to move out.
I am very anxious to know what gender our baby is- I want to start buying cute baby things!
that's all for now folks

Today I will post again!
I'm excited that it didn't take me two months to get back on here... though today I will not be posting pictures- though we have some fun ones. They'll get up soon.
So in case any of you have not heard the news... We are expecting our first child!! I am 12 weeks along and the due date is March 18! So far its been a pretty nice pregnancy, I am mostly just tired and hungry - I do get sick if I don't eat often enough but otherwise havn't had any problems with morning sickness.
Yesterday was the first time I got to hear the baby's heart beat! It was an amazing experience, to hear evidence of this little life inside me!
We are really excited and have had a really hard time not sharing our news earlier, thanks for everyones patience and probing questions throughout these past few months : )
I think so far my favorite change that's come about from being pregnant is that my hubby will often say things like, "I love you both!" or when we're counting heads in a group he counts two for me.
The newest change in my pregnancy experience came this Sunday when I was slammed with a nasty cold. I feel aweful but hopefully will get better soon!
I wanted to post about my brother's wedding. I just thought it was absolutely perfect- they were so happy and weepy! I was surprised when I first heard back in June that they were planning on getting married so soon, but seeing them married was a wonderful experience and I am so happy for the two of them. I can't help but worry a bit about my bro (its just lifelong habit) but I know that everything will be good for them. Of course Mom did an outstanding job with both the reception and the wedding dinner. She works like crazy but it's worth it in the end, you are amazing Mom!
As for the rest of our life... We stillhave a job at 3-form and looking for a new job. I am still a bum at home thinking about looking for a job. We are still looking for a house. i think thats it
Oh I forgot. This weekend...(SPOILER ALERT: Sachi if you were reading stop now! you'll find out soon enough!)
we're going down to St George to see one of my favorite musicals at Tuacahn!!! AIDA!!! We, plus my bestest friend, and her sisters are going down for the show and I am soooo excited!

Hello Again
Thank you everyone for being patient for me to post again ; )
I feel that now my school work is done I can finally breathe again, which also allows me to blog again!
Yes, I am now finished with me bachelors degree (that is- if I passed all my classes...), and now have plenty of freetime to do I have no idea what with. I have thought about getting a job- yes Bitty, I even considered applying to the office, but that's such a sad thought. I just do not enjoy being employed to do something for someone else, something that I find no fulfillment from doing.
Any way that's one option for all my extra time.
Other than that... my best friend returned from her mission two weeks ago! I have loved being able to spend time with her before she heads down to BYU. It's also been fun to see all our group of friends at all the homecoming celebrations.
My one friend, (who was also at the celebrations)commented that now she feels like we all have no reasons to get together anymore, because everyone's home from their missions and those who are getting married are getting married out of state ( for example my "lil bro"- is getting married to beautiful girl but they're getting sealed in California- bummer!). Maybe she's right but I just don't want to think that's true, we have to still have some reason to still see each other! Thats life though- we've all gone our seperate directions.
I'm just sitting here thinking what else I could write about, and I don't think I've posted since my oldest brother(who's already left again) and his wife got back. I have absolutely loved having them here! My adorable nephews and beautiful neice are so much fun! Its so much fun to have Amanda here too- to talk to and hang out with. I dread the day they go away again!
One last thing, We are continuing to look for a house and a new job for him. We have thought a couple of times that we'd found both, but things just keep getting thrown back up in the air. I'm sure i'll keep you all updated but as of now we're still village dwellers.
Thats all folks.

pics from graduation

I wanted to write really quick cause I've neglected to post for a while and a couple of exciting things have happened.
I finished my last final and all my assignments for Spring semester yesterday!! It was amazing to feel all those requirements and worries end! I am pretty enthusiatic that this semester will have my best GPA of my college career so far.
I am excited for my summer semester but this break inbetween will be heavenly and sooo needed.
Summer- I am taking three classes: my capstone class which will be one day of class and 1 or 2 days of volunteer work, two online classes, the first one is my independent study class which will pretty much be done by the end of May!, and a biomechanics course.
Last night I celebrated my graduation!!! Yes, I know I'm not done till August but since I walked and was all dressed up it seemed appropriate.
After the ceremony my in-laws took us to dinner and it was absolutely wonderful- so fun to sit and talk and enjoy good food.
We get to party with my fam tonight!!
On a sadder note... our friends here in our court... well they are moving out of the village : (
I guess that is just how it goes when you live in the village but it's still a bummer- we loved having good friends so close!
Well that's all for now
Love you all!

Catch Up
So it's time for another post. We spent the first part of this week in Vegas (for our Anniversary and my Spring Break)! We had so much fun- I'll let pictures show that. I really enjoyed being in the warmer climate and feeling the sun on my face. I think the favorite thing about Vegas for me was bein able to walk through all the hotels and shops. It's good to be home though.

I loved the fountain at the Bellagio, I could've watched it all night- but it broke after the second song we watched. The Sharks at Mandalay Bay were amazing! Sitting in the show room felt so amazing- being able to watch (in person) huge sharks and sea turtles and all sorts of fish swim! I absolutely loved it!
Feeling the sting rays was pretty cool too- they felt like velvet or a really wet chinchilla : )
We also thought it was pretty cool the way the lights of the hotel played on Darth...

I don't know if you can tell in the picture but he's pointing at a stream of water- we couldn't figure out how they could make it stick together and not splash every where. The water stream and the poppies (like wizard of oz right?- 'cept these were from iceland, not oz) were at the Bellagio, I thought the inside garden was a fun idea.
Any way I wanted to post some of the pictures we've taken over the last few months - so you can see what we've been up to.

There's really no order but some are pictures of our cabin trip to go snowmobiling, christmas, snow, and some more vegas pictures...
