27/10/2008 - Christmas ShoeBox Project 2008

a meaningful Deepavali afternoon
spent packing donated items into shoeboxes
for children less fortunate than i am
in various south east asian countries.

here's us packing tennis balls and cups

to go into each of the showboxes.

each shoebox contained

- a hygiene kit (toothbrush+paste, comb, towel, nailclipper)
- stationery (pencilset+notebook, colourpencils/crayons)

- cup/mug and a tennisball

- special toy (art+craft item/slinky/bouncythingthatlightsup)

- girls: hair accessory
boys: small vehicle toy

what we accomplished that afternoon:

250 boy boxes & 250 girl boxes

all packed by the effecient CCK TJC+YA
along with other volunteers at MercyRelief International =]
