I woke up with a horrible migraine this morning, which isn't terribly common for me anymore. But luckily I have been blessed with a wonderful husband who can understand when I really need to take a break. So, when we got to my work Skyler told me to stop in to make sure everything was ok, and then let them know that I was nauseated and had a migraine. So, instead of going to work with 10 screaming children for my normal three hours, Skyler took me to breakfast (so I could take medicine) at the cutest cafe in Ithaca, Hope's Way. I had the most delicious breakfast, an English muffin with cream cheese and a slice of tomato on each half. It is my new favorite, so I will have to treat myself once in a while when tomatoes are in season. It was nice to have quiet time together. Though I felt crummy the entire time, I was able to take my mind off of the throbbing a bit and let the medicine do its job. I feel much better now but I will continue resting throughout the day, then at 6 we are going to the temple. I am really grateful that Skyler will let me take a break, even when I am trying to be stubborn and won't let myself.
What a cute little place, very intimate environment, just a place to sit and chat while enjoying a nice healthy meal.
