Random Drop-In

I won't begin to attempt to catch up from my last post.  I'm not sure how I even ended up back here. Maybe a random wondering if it was still around. I'm glad it is, since so much of my kids history is on here!

2024 is half-way over, the days, weeks, months, years are flying by.  Kids are out for the summer. Sullivan is old enough to babysit them, and Daniel and I frequently work from home, so we just have a college girl driving them to activities and forcing them out of the house a few times a week.  Sullivan will be doing 9 hours of Fencing a week, Evie has camp next week, and Holland mainly runs around with the neighborhood kids.  Holland mastered riding a bike without training wheels this year, so she's glad to be able to tag along on bike rides with the bigger kids.

Fencing buddies Sebastian and Julian.

Girls trip to Memphis to see Wicked at the Orpheum. No trip is complete without a stop to see the ducks at the Peabody.

High Point Climbing (this time in Memphis) is always a hit with the kids. One of the days I'm going to give it a try as well.

Uncle Chris got a new boat, so we got to take it out for a spin! Regulators....Mount Up!

Dauphin Island family fun.

Holland's 7th Birthday Party at Studio Whimzy. this girl loves to wear tall socks; particularly with stripes and/or animals.

Sullivan's first middle school dance. Don't think he actually danced. We had to force him to go, but he ended up having fun.

Evie's St. Jude check up always includes Starbucks (inside St. Jude) and IKEA.

My little animal lover, Evie, saved a fish.

That's all for now. We'll see if this sticks or if anyone actually reads this!

I'm still here...year end review 2020

I don't know if anyone still checks this or gets notified when I post, but I'm still here.  I've been working from my dining room table since March, most of that time with two of the three kids across from me doing remote learning.  It's been a challenging year and so strange, but time waits for no man, so kids have continued to grow.  I'm thankful for the ability to work from home, and the puzzles and baking and other positives from quarantine, but I'm ready for travel and hugs and dates out with my husband.  We started 2020 with a fabulous trip to DisneyWorld, and I'm soooo glad we were able to have that bit of normal and fun before pandemic.
