Happy birthday singapore..
this year’s birthday bashh for u have a number of the firsts eh such as this e first yr that Nat Day is celebrated on waters..a number of water activities..fireworks firing from uob centre..President S R Nathan inspected the entire contingent this year - on a new ceremonial land rover - instead of just the guards-of-honour..the giving out of Singa caps in the goodie bags and some others i think..a pity i didnt get the chance to get out of the house to snap some pix
Hmm, as on overall, i feel other than the water activities and the normal land activities, i think the side performances held previous years still win over this years..However, while i was watching the fireworks, few thoughts flew past my mind..was quite a touching scene..it just seems that all worries are gone for that split second..its another pity scene that i cant view them from my house windows..oh the sights of those starfish and all are quite cute though..
Hmm as for the songs..2 new songs for this year..but i think the song Theres no place i’d Rather Be better than Will You..Haiz, yes! indeed wat happened to this year’s 2 theme songs..its like so rare till today when i hear it =X oya~! while watching the ndp live from tv, saw two things that was such a pity, err the guy who skated and another performer fell down..
Anyways, good brains u have there singapore to have ur party celerated on water for the next few years..was a good first attempt..
