Trip to Jerome
Yeah...it didn't turn out how I want it to.
Saw this corn and had to stop to take a picture and send to Jensen...I know it won't taste the same but maybe it's just as tall as Iowa corn.
Funny thing...my mom (IT'S HER BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!) hardly ever looks at the camera you'll find her looking in every other direction. I mentioned that while we were taking the picture and told her to look at the sky/up. Fun times. I laughed and laughed.
The boys had a hard time getting IN the corn. It was quite pokey.
We went to the Twin Falls temple. The kids did baptisms, while we did other temple work. My work got done sooner than Andrea...and we were waiting and waiting...

My 23 things about my Winnifred
This is going to be so easy!
1. She has the best smile in the world2. She's beautiful
3. Everyone loves her!
4. Once you get to know her and she you, she'll be the best friend you've ever had.
5. She's an amazing tennis player, cheerleader, volleyball player, etc.
6. Once, about 5-10 years into marriage, she was heard to say "I can't wait for football season."
7. She likes soccer.
8. She loves our boys and is the best mom.
9. She loves me in spite of everything.
10. She is a 'country' girl being forced to live close to the 'city'.
11. She's earned 2.5 Eagle Scout awards!
12. She does things she doesn't love doing without a word!
13. She is a great volleyball player, like the whole bump set spike kind, not just jungle ball.
14. She's and amazing pianist! I admire her so much for her talent.
15. She loves to dance.
16. She is so nice to her Mom and was to my Mom too. My mom loved loved her!
17. She makes my fav. dinners often. (best lasagna, curry, burritos, sweet pork I've ever had)
18. She accepts, and I think she secretly loves, our dog Adi.
19. She loves her church calling and magnifies it.
20. I love that she can't stand pretense or fakeness. She's as real as they come.
21. She let's me do what I want and go where I want whenever I want.
22. She puts up with my volunteering for soccer and politics and has even jumped in with the soccer bit. She's done some hard hard work for several teams and an entire club of 400 kids.
23. The best thing I love about Wendi is that she chose me after all her possibilities. And has put up with me for this long.

Today marks 23 years of being married to a very stubborn girl. So I'm going to say 23 great things about Brian! Nothing is in any order, just as they popped in my head...
1. He has beautiful mutli colored eyes...I think they're what you call hazel eyes.
2. He has the best PR skills
3. He is a good father, he wants to be at every soccer game.
4. He is a great kisser
5. He loves me ALL the time
6. He is very kind to other people...He is like the Good Samaritan
7. He plays the drums good...he should be in a band
8. I wish he sang in the choir because he has a beauuuuuuutiful voice...
9. He listens to me
10. He does the dishes when he sees they need doing
11. He always thanks me for making dinner or doing laundry or doing any household chore, he just doesn't assume they will happen because I'm the wife.
12. He's been mistakenly called Tom Cruise...you know when he had hair.
13. He gives nice hugs. I like them...
14. I like his family, they're pretty cool. :)
15. He provides for his family
16. He is involved in politics.
17. He loves soccer and wants the kids to succeed. He's coached for many many years for all our boys and even several other teams, ones that didn't even have any of our boys playing on.

20. He plays with my hair whenever I ask him to
21. He unravels my yarn from the skein when I'm crocheting an afghan
22. Almost every day he brings me home a rice crispy treat from his work that he asked them to start making. I love them.
