Well this has been a week and a CRAZY one....from funerals, to changing plans for MEXICO, Birthdays, and the winner is a .....BROKEN HUMERUS. Yeah my little Addie fell off the bar stool while trying to put her shoes on, we were just headed to the park...the result was a broken, slightly displaced humerus bone (right above her left elbow). So we spent Thursday doing x-rays and splinting then to wait the opinion of an ORTHOPEDIC surgeon. So Friday came and we were headed to the funeral, and get a call from the
ortho and he said no way would he see her we need to head straight to PRIMARY CHILDREN'S (YIKES!!!!!) go to the ER so they can admit her for surgery, nothing to eat or drink. So needless to say we turned around changed clothes packed bags, took the other girls to Grandma and off we went, Mom, Dad, and Addie to Primary Children's ER. I was a MESS I could not stand the thought of them doing surgery on my little girl and she had no idea what was in store for her, she was smiling and happy. So we got there did lots of waiting, lots of x-rays, saw lots of Doctors, and shed lots of TEARS from ME!!! The end result is wait (YEAH...I hope) until Wed. and come back...for more x-rays and decisions surgery or no surgery. They said it may be possible it will heal fine but she may not get full range of motion back, and she is my lefty!!! So with it being slightly displaced they want to see what it looks like on WED. This was our first experience with Primary Children's and it was GREAT they really know how to handle KIDS everyone was very nice and helpful, even with a very busy ER. I hope we don't have to visit the ER anytime soon but it was a very good experience.
I am hoping and praying for the BEST and a speedy RECOVERY!!! She is such a trooper, very happy and very BRAVE!!!! We have awesome family that has helped a lot watching the girls, to cleaning up our house, and Grandpa and Grandma came up as soon as the funeral was over, Thanks so much for the support. So much for all our big plans this week, my how things can change in a flash!!!! So I will post the latest after we find out on WED!!!

FUNERAL
My Grandpa Jim died and that's the funeral we had to miss, I did however make it to the viewing the night before. He has been married to my Grandma for 20 years now. Grandma would do anything for him and we will miss him. I feel really bad that I was not able to make the funeral but I hope everyone understands why. I heard that it was a great funeral and the speakers did a great job. I Still feel GUILTY!!
