Splish...Splash...

Another year of swimming lessons has come to an end, the girls did a great job, they really progressed well. We love the pool and I am so glad that the girls fell comfortable in the water. We will be back again next year!!!
First day of class!
Saige practicing her kicks.
Addie and her teacher, she really liked her.

The last day the teachers took them down the SLIDE
well they loved it and wanted to keep going.

I had to put this picture in, Cali was such a great sport to sit
and watch her sisters play in the water.
Your time will come soon enough Cali Jo,
next year.

Happy 24th

Well since it is Pioneer Day I thought that I would share an awesome song with you. A girl in my ward sang it at Enrichment and it was AMAZING. The lyrics are great, I just wish you could hear it sang because it is really touching. Well I hope you enjoy it anyway.. and have a great Pioneer Day!!

Prayer of the Walking Child

Father
Can you hear me
Will you listen to me for a while
Please, can you make the day warm
The sun will dry the dewy grass
And all will be well.
And Father
Make my steps a little larger
I’ll try not to fall behind
Also bless my shoes
To help them last another mile or so.
Father
I’m so hungry
I’ve had nothing to eat for a while
Please, can you fill our grain barrel
Mother can make a flour cake
And all will be well.
But Father
When the food is gone, forgive me
I’ll try hard not to complain
Also, bless my mother
Dry her tears and help her smile again.
Father
I’m so weary
Can I stop and rest here for a while
Please keep the cold from blowing
Bring on the night, so I can dream
And all will be well.
But Father
If I sleep too long, forgive me
Wake me up, don’t leave me behind
But, if sleep still keeps me
Father in your arms please carry me home.
And all will be well
All will be well
All is well

How CUTE is she!!

Well the other day we were doing family pics with Calvin's family. During the process one of the photographer's (there was 2) caught this photo. I am a little bias because she is my little girl but isn't that an AWESOME picture. She is my little Addie with ADDIE-TUDE!! They were both awesome photographers and would recommend them to anyone. I have put there links on the side of my blog, check them out they have a few other photos from that night. ENJOY, I can't keep looking at it.

Just "Bummin"

We went camping to Soldier Creek this last weekend, (SURPRISE, SURPRISE) but we always have a great time. We had lots of family and friends join us this time which always makes it FUN!! The more the merrier right ? Calvins cousin and family came along with us also, they have an awesome boat and their boy Justin could wake board awesome, forgot the camera, darn we would have had more great pictures.

The girls just hanging out, waiting for their friends to ARRIVE!
While the guys were fishing we walked down to the dock and were waiting and the kids were watching the minnows and crawdads, waiting to see what we caught.

I think the wait was worth it, just check out the face on Saige I think that says it ALL. They caught a few crawdads, but sure loved them.
(Kamryn, Ben & Kira (cousins), Saige, Addie, Hunter, Haley)

The next day we decided to go on a hike with Jeff, Haley and kids. The girls were so excited, and Saige could hardly wait to try out her camel back she got for her birthday.

Seeing who would be the first to test the FREEZING WATER!!

Playing a little in the water it was WAY cold, but they had a great time.

Check out those BUNS.
Little buddies!
Big BUDDIES, these two (Jeff and Calvin) have so much fun together, they never did grow up. The were crossing the river trying to stay dry, well they succeeded not even a drop wet. Darn we were hoping for a little excitement.

4th of JULY weekend.

Yeah I know I am a little slow, but here is a quick (or not so quick) review of our July 4th weekend. Friday morning we decided to brave waking up early to see the balloons the girls had fun although we missed them taking off, which is what they wanted to see.

After the balloons we went to Magelbys for breakfast YUMMY, Grandpa gave all the kids chocolate cake for breakfast, doesn't get any better.

Then the GRAND PARADE, we have never taken the girls to the parade in Provo so we though we better. Well they LOVED it, I don't think they sat down the whole time. The weather was great, a little overcast made it much more bearable.

Saige and her BUDDY, Hesston (cousin), these two sure love each other.

The big balloons were a hit, this one got stuck under the wires and the kids thought that was way funny.

That evening Steve and Ellery had invited us to Steve parents home for a BBQ and fireworks. We had a great time and the kids played i the water for a little bit, it was a bit chilly but they had fun. Then we watched the stadium of fire, it was a GREAT TIME. Thanks.

Cali jumped in the water clothes and all.

Playing on the water slide.

Watching Fireworks.

Saturday morning we thought since we didn't do too much on the fourth we would headed up to Wyoming Downs to watch the horse races. Moosmans had a buch of horses racing, which makes it a little more exciting to watch someone you know.

The Girls watching the RACES!!

The Group, Kara and her family, Kyle and his FRIEND,
Shirley and Alan(Karas Parents). Not in order but that is who went.

This picture is of Riley Moosman(in white) ponying the race horse, i remember going to the races and babysitting this little boy, man have times changed.

Moosmans horse, in the orange, HE WON!!

Watching the race.
From left to right Wynn Fox, Tanner Fox, Allie Fox, Cambree Fox, (I THINK), Addison Smart.
ALL in ALL we had a VERY BUSY weekend but we made tons of fun memories and the kids were troopers.

T-BALL

Saige had her last T-ball game on Tuesday, she had a great time learning something new. She practiced lots and lots, and really liked her coach (although she would never admit that). She can't wait until next year to play again.
Mom, Giving her a little encouragement, she was a little nervous, it was her first game.

Waiting her turn to bat.

Saige and her team.
Someone asked me what I thought Saige would be (when she grew up) based on her interests and talents right now, what would I choose.......well I think she would start the first "Dancing Baseball League" her two favorite things right now, and she is pretty good at both!!
