This is just too annoying seeing Vday couples having mushy moments on this VERY day. I've observed many lucky girls and one in particular, she was hugging a stuffed toy on her right n left hand glued to her date. And some i've seen carrying HUMONGOUS bears, n on top of dat, the guys had a bouquet of roses or hundreds of separate stalks in all sorts of coloured wraps. Imagine seeing lovebirds spread across the town, taking up all couple packages and occupying all romantic hot spots . LOVE IS IN THE AIR...but when it gets too much, i can't BREATHE! Hence i don't think itz a gud idea 4 me n Zyla 2 hit 4 the movies.We wud end up battling for couple seats.

Skip dat Vday gifts exchange, n saying the common "I love you" before a sizzling meal and candle light standing in between. We don't have 2 be doing the same thing as other couples do. Our 2nd year Anniversary was only last week, we thought it was more worthwhile celebrating our love on that special day, 8 Feb. That day, we brought our picnic mat, our ART materials, Zyla's homemade pizza, Zai's chilli sauce, down to the lushy green garden at Botanic for some laidback ROMANCE.

I'm so proud of my dear girl who spent the night before making a pizza. She made one holly great tasting regular extra thick crust pizza topped with mushrooms, many of those mushrooms, and many other ingredients hidden under em. Anyway, 2 be frank, her pizza tasted really GOOD..I LOVE it till the extent I unconciously finished a BIG piece when she was busily yadding away.
We bought 2 frame boxes from IKEA, Zyla got the black n i got the white. We decorated our own frames using ART papers. Once completed, we exchanged our masterpieces. Thru painless effort; we've made our very own Anniversary gift!

Somebody suggested 2 build a mini 'garden' inside the box. Very creative dear...I think u need 2 work out on ur glueing first before u start pasting cactus inside. =)
Today, we walked around PS and City Hall, commenting on passing couples we sighted along the way. No flowers. No teddy bears. Juz pure fun of talking about anything under the sun, laughing at our jokes, and walking to and fro Suntec and City Link. Datz plain us...simple plan yet exciting. We also shopped! We got a pair of nice shoes each...
We also took a set of beautiful glow pictures..

And ended tonyte wit a GREAT feast at Newton. I love the BBQ fish! I still dunoe what itz called.. the uncle mentioned something like 'sapple' or 'snapple'.. Snapple is a kind of drink am I ryte?

This 2 weeks had been another lovely period.. My dear Zyla, I knew our Anniversary celebration cud work wit just picnic wit dat tasty pizza u made, and cutting ART papers and making a mess at the gardens. I think datz really unique. Itz amazing dat even on Vday, we avoided the movies and expensive dinner, and the best part is...we enjoyed wad we did. U r so amazing dear...so ADVENTUROUS and so THOUGHTFUL. Datz the reason y I LOVE YOU so much.. and it'll be wonderful 2 go far at diz road of ours wit u.
HAPPY 2nd year ANNIVERSARY baby! =)
Hey we didnt manage 2 play a game of pool. Next week..savvy?

Check out the 2 videos below! That happened on last Saturday at Mc Cafe Shawhouse. Me and crazy frenz got bored, so we bought ourselves some fresh sushis (comes in salmon, prawn, eel and fish eggs flavour). We added a whole lot packet of WASABI..and the lucky one chosen after we "open number" get to EAT it! If u noe how WASABI taste like especially when it goes with raw fish...perhaps u might wana pass.

Number '32' was a bad start for Bob. I was unlucky on the next round, I didnt order prawn with dat 'green' stuff man. That stinked!

I HATE it when the spicy WASABI flavour went up my head n thru my nose. Nevertheless, try it guys. Afterall, I SURVIVED diz JAPANESE GAMESHOW!

My nephew just joined a PLAYGROUP, n datz the song he sang every morning. Aniwae...diz boy is realy CUTE. He sees me as a role model so he learned marching from me, got a CAMO GREEN army tees juz like mine, and he react 2 commands. The cool thing is, u noe the white gloves u wore for house painting? He wore dat when he marches.

Diz is my 2nd MP3 player so far! First one was a Creative (some model) 124mb in Baby Blue, later I shared with gf's Creative 1GB Nano. Today I've just gotten this piece of cool player..but mine is 8GB..why would I need such a big capacity.
Aniwae..this will be shared between me and gf. We have come 2 an agreement dat every week we will exchange our MP3 player and PSP. But ultimately...both are still mine. Nyahar! Orytee...finally now I have music 2 entertain me.
I need a math tutor for my niece. Anybody?

Where the h*** have u been?! Dat was the first question I asked myself.. My blog had been collecting dust for the past 1 year. Amazingly I can ignore blogging totally..until somebody pestered me to UPDATE.

Before I start..

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
SO what generally happened in 2008? I have listed the TEN things here:

1. I spent 9 months in SAFTI MI Officer Cadet School. Only had lucky weekends to hurray hurray...those off days were so precious, till the idea of bloggin ran off my mind. Totally.

2. I bought a piece of beautiful techy creature. SONY VAIO laptop in blazing red. It reminds me of my Italian fling, 'Ferrari'.

3. No change 2 cellphone... I can only downgrade it as long as I still get in and out of camps.

4. I had the most awesome BIRTHDAY surprise by gurlfey! =)

5. I forgotten about my PSP. Handed it over to many passing hands and it came back to me about a month ago.

6. September was my MOST MEMORABLE month of the year. Never stepped into Fullerton before..and I had..during my BALL.

7. I went onboard plane TWICE. Not so cool..I wont say to where.

8. My room would always be empty....and the bedsheet would always be so neat and comfy when I come back during the weekends. Itz the same warmth feel when I snuggle...with a slight cool air of freshness underneath. Oh man.. Cuz I always MISSED home!

9. Fortunately, me and gurlfley did not have many issues. Amazing year.

10. Before I knew it, my 1 year anniversary already passed..

Things happened too quickly in 2008!

A visit to the jungle is just another thing I see often at work. This time round..we were cycling in a completely new environment.. oh yeah..we weren't alone. Zyla's sidekick tagged alonng.

I pretty much had fun. Somebody was left out behind cuz I got excited and cycled too fast. Oops..sorry dear. I noe it was hard 4 u 2 catch up... next time I rent a skate board. =p

My 2 weeks of break goin 2 b over soon.

I have enjoyed being a civilian in this real world so far. The day after X'mas, i'll report 2 my new 'home'. First 3 weeks of confinement, 9 months of exhaustion, and only minutes of my time i'll get 2 eat Mcdonalds with gurlfey. All i've got 2 do now is 2 look 4ward 2 9mths later...seeing myself standing in the parade square in my no.1 uniform..and my mum puttin on the rank 4 me. And tears running down my cheek? NO way!

Officer Cadet School. Just another test in life.

I wanna thank my mummy..who had been supporting me and watched me graduated from Tekong, supporting me financially too..heehee...well..without her...I think I won't have a good night sleep on weekends.

I wanna thank my sis too...who had been helping me with my laundry. Hahaks! Mainly that.

Lastly..thank u Shazyla. U never failed 2 fill my weekends and make my day wonderful! U stood by me since the first day I was enlisted 2 Tekong...u were at Pasir Ris when I booked in...u were at Pasir Ris when I booked out..u travelled along wit me 2 anywhere everywhere. In short: U stick 2 me just like glue. =p

My 2 weeks break...ending...and i'm so sad.

No more fun.

No more playing Counter-strike with gurlfey.

No more late calls, late sleep, late mornings.

Haizz...9 months of OCS..enuf time 2 see my first child born. Ahahkz!

I've finally returned after 2 MONTHS! I wont be surprised if there arent any readers anymore...cuz my entries, my blogskin, and the song, might have become some sort of a legendary. Only historians will visit my blog these days.

13 weeks of my basic military training has finally over. Today was my Pass Out Parade...the moment when I can conclude that morning 5BX is over, no more super long marches in extremely heavy bag, enough of concealing myself in the jungle, crawling in the mud, getting bitten by commando mosquitoes (these kinds are BIG but fly SLOow yet DEADLY!), also no more shit n lots of shit of other kinds, digging of our grave holes, shooting (SICK of it), running endLess kilometres, and doing countLess number of push-ups. BUT...This is just the end of a beginning.

I still have CLIMAX awaiting me! The main part of NS where I might be posted 2 Command School. The activities I mentioned above will be repeated with plus plus plus in a duration of about 9 months of HELL!! All the trainings and level of difficulty will triple up till infinity..testing my endurance level 2 its limit. Sucks gonna be.

OK. Enough scaring myself. Just be happy now cuz I have 10 days break. Gimme picturez...

---FRIDAY---

Today we wore our newly bought couple tee from NUM, Newurbanmale. The prints darn cute ya noe! My character is Elmo from Sesame Street, and hers is Pooh. I wanna buy Tom & Jerry next time. Probably...Looney Tunes? Unfortunately, we forgot 2 take pictures of us wearing our tees! Uuurgh!!

I never liked walkin around Geylang Bazaar..until I went with gurlfey. For the very first time, I was at Geylang on Hari Raya nyte. With juz us around, the atmosphere was amazing enough. As usual...I dun fancy the crowd at Geylang. Seeing some groups of em..chokes me everytime! So as we walk n we walk up n down the bazaar street, we chit chat non-stop, eat n eat, laugh n laugh, smile n smile...until 2am. =p

---SATURDAY---

First of all...SELAMAT HARI RAYA 2 all my muslim readers! Today may be the best of year 4 anybody, and probably my chance of celebrating the best Hari Raya will come one day. I wish 4 the most exciting festive season filled with EXTREME enthusiasm...cuz today, wasn't really a wonderful day 4 me. Nevertheless...i'm glad that at least itz a holiday. Hehe! Everytime after I book out from Tekong, I cud breathe in the cool, purely clean air of what I called 'Freedom'.

Rest day! Cuz bloody hell 4 nation's sake...i'm goin back camp later. I'll have 2 drag the extra 20kg load on my feet. Ok goodbye.
