Donald Ducks on Ice

I inline skate the other day, I ice skate today. I envy those guys who spent about 600 dollars on a pair of ice hockey skates, yet still has 2 pay $13/2 hours fee 2 ice skate. Stupid? No..they r rich.

They r excellent ice skaters. They speed like MANIACS, and cut in between other skaters so smoothly dat u'll only feel the breeze he left behind. They would skid the ice in order 2 stop. They would leave a mountain of shaven ice, so much that u can collect em n fill your ice kachang bowl. I would rather admire the skating swans spinning gracefully in the air. They lower down ur freezing tension.

I will stick 2 inline skating for now. Till I become the son of a CEO, I will consider buying a pair of ice hockey skates. =p

2 hours over, I went 2 gf's place. She made a special drink 4 me.....it's called "Plain Water Tarik".

The drink was like no other...than an ordinary plain water.

Gurl and me have been 2 almost every part of Singapore. Everytime we plan 2 meet, we have nowhere 2 go. I plan 2 visit our Singapore's very own Universal Studios, and the world's BIGGEST Oceanarium, once Resorts World at Sentosa opens in 2010. Yayy...new activities await us!

The same plan 4 our recent wonderful Saturday - ECP cycling and skating. Ouh don't leave yet..I noe it sounded boring 2 u. But it had always been fun 4 us! =p We went 2 the end of ECP. Erm not really...we actually reached beyond dat. We stopped at the end of the Changi Airport's runway! Hehe! I cudn't believe dat we could have gone so far! Yeah..we were on the runway..chasing after the jets.

Oh yes..along the way in our greatest journey, we saw Taufik Batisah! He was on the bike with his 2 other frenz. When we saw him, we went OMG OMG...erm..or was it only me? Well..somebody got excited, she sped up leavin me behind! Oh..or was it me? Haha! Nvm..but seriously..his bike was on turbo mode, we couldnt catch up.

We went back home wit our wobbly legs.

Lastly, I bought myself a skate backpack!! WOohoo! Now I have a bag 2 strap my skates around. Very convenient.

Bla bla bla...

Now i'm waiting for Kikie 2 reach home so I can play multiplayer wit her. Quick!! I need army reinforcement!

If u have tried so hard 2 find out who keeps the fish, after randoming placing the items around, u'll get the GREEN house having the empty box. If your answer is the Italians who keep the fish, then you're WRONG.
Because my question was, "WHO KEEPS THE FISH?", without the facts given telling u that there is a family keeping fish as pets. How can u be so sure that the Italians are the ones? They may not necessarily keep FISH, it could be squirrels, or hamsters.

This is instructor Zairul. He was conducting skating lessons for Miss Zyla. F.O.C. for anyone and special guidance for girlfriend..hehe! Sorry dear..I won't have 2 hold u anymore, u've gotta learn 2 fall...and get up on ur own feet. =)There she is, my student. She's finding ways 4 a good balance..trying hard not 2 stand like a ducky. Huhu! Now she can skate forwards, turn around...still in the beginner level 1. Good enough 2 throw u into the ice-skating ring! We'll go next week! Yipee!Later, we sat at a good bench spot and watched DVD on her portable DVD player. Our first show- LOVE is CINTA. Goosebumps love story. Ooo...last part very touching.

I need a new pair of skates people! After I fell in love with the new Radius freestyle skates in exotic red. SOo beautiful! Wahh!! I wannt!! $382 to spare anybody? Buy me a pair of hockey skates as well..cuz I wanna play hockey. Plzzz!
The hockey skates cost $890. =)

Today was a test of our patience.
We queued for 20 minutes at Donut Factory Suntec! Donut Factory's donuts r incomparable among other sweet delicacies. The BEST donuts I ever tasted so far! We bought 2 boxes, a dozen altogether. I don't have 2 describe the alluring taste of those tempting donuts..cuz in S'pore, long queue will mean the best. So what r u waiting for?? Grab one now! (diz is not an advertisement)
We brought our food 2 the big grass patch in front of Esplanade. We sat there at 7..and we had 2 wait for more than 2 hours before the fireworks began at 9:20pm. Again...it was all worth waiting for. =) Especially under the moonlight after the sky turned dark.
Erm...correction..itz under the evening sun. See that above?

Below are so far the best pictures I could capture, cuz it wasn't easy 2 noe exactly wen u have 2 press the shutter.

I've completed my exciting novel. Love it! The plot was smooth and exhilaratingly thrilling! It involved mainly science and technology, a huge maze of adventure, with a few parts of love story. Truly my kind.Now that i've done reading this...i've nothin 2 read the next time!

From this book, i've learnt 2 decipher simple codes. A curious person like me became interested. So i've wrote one code below...try solving it!

We weren't so lucky 2 get any NDP tickets diz year. If 1 million Singaporeans have participated in the tickets balloting, hence 1 million have fought 4 the limited 27,000 seats. Only 27% of em would get the tickets...and chances of me falling into that 27%, is very low. Nonetheless, we went 4 free seating at the Padang. (Sepet in love)

Our initial plan was 2 meet my guy frenz early, and we will go bowling b4 catchin the NDP. In the end..they didn't turn up. So left me and gurlfren 2 storm the crowd of the year!

Roughly about 10,000 people at Esplanade, another 10,000 at Merlion Park, and approximately 100,000 pedestrians congesting the traffic. May day! May day! We need a space 2 breathe! Now everywhere is full house. Imagine if the entire Singapore's population gather at City Hall..my oh my...City Hall will sink!
Later, Kikie's sis and bro-in-law joined us. They added some sparks 2 our cheerful evening. For the first time ever, we sat in the middle of the very spacious padang...watchin NDP live on the 'BIG' screen together with thousands others. The screen wasn't so big anyway...I had wish 4 the screen 2 move slightly upwards, cuz when the people upfront stand, their BIG heads would block the screen. We guys at the back cooperated with our multiracial neighbours..and shouted at those in front 2 SIT!! It wasn't so bad after dat...we applauded when they listen. (Hence riot won't start)

As usual, NDP would always end with fireworks. For a moment, I was touched by the spirit of Singaporeans standing and singing the National Anthem. Together with the blast of fireworks, many would have cried if they had been showing pride in Singapore. I wish 4 the day...Indians, Chinese, Eurasians, and my Malays will place arms around the back, and sing together. I also wish 4 the day...I get FREE Mcdonalds meal on every 9th Aug. Waha! Irrelevant!

The picture above was only successful after several takes. Gettin the fireworks 2 develop into a full bloom was tedious! It could be done a lot easier if I had a camera which have a 'extended exposure' feature. Abg Jo took our picture 2 near perfection...except for de yellow n blue fireworks, I digitally added em. Hehe!

So much of our 15 minutes worth of enjoyment watchin the final grand fireworks.
PSI now reads: 150. The air is hazardous! Letz get outta 'ere.

Diz time round, she took over my chatter-box.
I wonder if her full day at school ever made her feel drained.
Still she could fiddle-faddle when I behaved.
She disturbed me when I was enjoying my food in silence.
She had all sorts of nonsense ideas when I didn't come out of anything.

Baybeats was a so-so.
Been there on Friday, been there today...
I've yet 2 watch the best bands. However still, I admire our very homegrown local talents. They put in great efforts!

What I like:
Any live performances!

What I don't like:
Any crowd of nuisance people. (arse!)

Probably 9th Aug plan will be...
1. Bowl at Marina South.
2. Head down 2 Merlion or Padang 2 catch the NDP live on BIG screen.
3. Watch fireworks. AGAIN.
4. Go Lau Pa Sat eat SATAY baybey! Satay ayam with kacang sauce man! Too bad no ketupats..usually will be lontongs.

She's having her school day off today!
So we headed down 2 ECP in the afternoon.

I was on my 1 year plus old pair of freestyle skates, 3 wheels on each side...missing 2 wheels on both sides but nvm. It has some good scratches, and a few torn kevlar pieces. As for Kikie, she rented an old mountain bike with almost 'botak' tyres.
Nevertheless the ride was smooth.
Cuz we were in LOVE riding on those wheels, travelling from end 2 end of ECP. Most couples would have gotten a double bike, but we prefer 2 be separated. So that we can RACE! Hey my skates can go FASTER than her bike! But strangely she can pedal faster without even havin the need 2 shift gears. Emm..
I can also disturb her bicycle bell.."tring! tring!" or pull her brake! Waha! Itz also easier 4 me 2 talk 2 her...sitting on double bike means, I have 2 SCREAM behind if she's sitting at the back...and have 2 constantly check if she's pedaling. Hmm...cuz no free labour allowed. Hence being separated saves all the trouble. This way we can also hold hands too..side by side..not front 2 back. I can push her bike 2 de side..turn her handle...pull her nearer...hiak hiak!
Gosh i'm so evil.
She could have skate uh...but she's still in the beginner level. There was once I became her coach...and she fell on top of me wen we hit the hump. That was the spot we "fell in love"......aaawwwhhhh....with the hump. Heehee! Psst..dat was our second date. =p
The hump is gone now...itz taken away..the hump is flatten..okay wadever.
I'm sleepy..good nyte!
