Ashlyn...

Having 2 Birthdays this week has made for a whole lotta CRAZY around here :) But even though I've slacked off on this blog I can't not blog about bdays!

And This little girl has kept me on my toes for sure! I remember the DAY she turned 2 it was like all hell broke loose, and its been a ride ever since. She can be the most loving sweet girl, she'll compliment you on anything. But she can also have an attitiude not unlike Cruella De Ville. I mean this in a loving motherly way :) It just so happens that she is grounded this week, haha. Im hoping that maybe she'll be the best teenager ever!!

Happy Birthday day Ashlyn!!

Boys will be boys...

I have a few summer things I should blog about but in the mean time, heres another Cody story. Jason was just giving Cody a much needed haircut and then they jumped in the shower to rinse off and Jason says " I tooted" and Cody says " well I just pee'd" I was glad I was able to hear that, I couldnt stop laughing : ) I love my Boys!

Cody, you are so stinkin cute!

I have to get this on here before I forget about it, my memory isn't so hot these days! So Jason and I took Cody to the DR today, he has a double ear infection. And in the waiting room Cody had a cute conversation with a little girl named Jessica, at least this is what I could understand...

CODY: "thats my daddy" Cody points to Jason, this was his fall back statement he made whenever the conversation stopped : )

Jessica: "Im with my grandma"

Cody:" I go with my grandma to Coyotes" thats what Cody calls Macayos : )

Cody: "Thats my dad"

Cody: "Thats my mom too"

Jessica: "The Police came and arrested my mommy"

Cody: "Wheres your dad?"

Jessica: " I dont have a dad."

Cody: " I like Optimus Prime"

And so the conversation went, until Jessicas brother was called back. I dont remeber some of it, I was too busy trying not to laugh. Jason and I were just waiting for Cody to say, oh my daddy's a police man, but thankfully he didnt!!

I have been wanting to get a console table, since Jason finished our little remodel project (that I haven't really blogged about yet). So I spent many hours looking online and I fell in love with this one from JC Penny Home Store. Jason however had other plans, he wanted to make me a console table. And it's not that I didn't think Jason would do a good job, I know it's his talent. But I just didn't know if it would turn out like I wanted it. Like the one in the picture. So Jason had his dad come over to help and I looked it up online to print out the picture and of course the table was on sale for half off. But they didn't have the right color and it was made of mdf. Jason was going to do build his with real wood ( I should note that I didn't really care what it was made out of, I just wanted the table : )

So they worked pretty hard on this table and...

I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't get the best picture of it, the stain turned out perfect and it looks like an old piece of furniture. It looks so much better in person. Pretty close to the first picture, don't you think? Now, what to put on it? By the way it such gorgeous wood I can't imagine a cheap table looking this good!
