Easter 2008

Ok - still in catch up mode. This is from Easter 2008. We went to see Rodney's extended family - normally they only get together around Thanksgiving/Christmas - but the great-grandmothers of the family are getting a little older - so they got together at Easter. Erika also decided to start walking about this time.

Well, I've only caught up on photos 'til 2007 and I know that wasn't nearly all I have. But those were my favorites. I have some great Easter photos and some from this summer that I'll post in the future - it takes awhile to upload the photos though and it's past mid-night here.

As far as an update on our lives.....Rodney is searching for a career that fits his personality and just working for money in the meantime. I am working as an Admin. Asst at a Jr. College, but am trying to get Alternatively Certified to teach Elementary Education. I have been accepted into a program and passed one of the state tests (the other one I don't have to take 'til next summer) - now all I have to do is find a job - sounds easy right? Lol - I hate job searches - I hate the wait the most. So we shall see.

Erika will be 18 months old next week - man, time flies. She moves up into the toddler room in her daycare. This means a slightly cheaper rate for us, which will help. However, I really liked her teacher and am sorry to see that she has to switch - although the new teacher is very nice and they are all in the same building.

I will try to keep up with this page. I'm best at keeping up with my myspace page - I occasionally mess with my facebook page - but I will take a shot at this.

Photo Shoot in November

In November 2007, I took some black and white film and regular film and tried to do a photo shoot with Erika in the house - some pics were great....none were professional quality. Below are the best of what came out of it.

This is my absolute favorite - I think. She's laying on my stomach here drinking a bottle.

Old pics of Erika

Okay, I guess I will try this out. I have several OLD pics of Erika I can try to add - slowly.

This Picture is edited - but this is when Erika was 1 day old - she had just been named: Erika Michele and her daddy is holding her. It was taken with my cell phone and then I edited it - It's one of my favorite pictures ever!

This is another old one. I can not remember how old she was - less than 3 months - I was still on maternity leave. I was finally getting comfortable with having a newborn.

Again - I forget the time table other than what order things are in. She is probably somewhere around 3-5 months old in these - at a guess.
