Some good baby moments...
Jaydon is growing up too fast. One night we went in to give him his binky and he was standing up crying in the crib. Who knew he could actually pull himself up? Well, we lowered the crib. Now he's been on this thing where he wakes up at 3 or 4 in the morning and will NOT go back to bed in his own bed. Trust me...we've tried. We get so tired that we give in and let him sleep with us. He always gets his way:)...
The other day I was picking up our bedroom and folding laundry. I gave Jaydon a bucket of toys to play with and he usually will sit and play and clack and bang things together. BUT...he has this basketball. He will sort of throw it and then crawl (actually army crawl after it). Well, it had been quiet for a bit so I looked over around the corner of the bed and this picture would be what I found! He was really quiet for not being able to get out, but don't worry, once I put the camera down, he started to cry and I helped the poor guy out! Jaydon also got his first hair cut! (I had to laugh when I read my friend Marijke's blog and she had posted pictures of her 4 week old getting his 1st haircut!) Jaydon's hair was getting a little long and whispy on the top, so one night I spiked it up in the middle and did a little trimming, no one can really tell, but it looks much better to me! Then last, but not least, I was making dinner the other night and I had put Jaydon in his high chair with some cherrios. He does really good for a long time with a few of those on his tray. I was talking with him as he made the "hmm, hmm" sound (because cherrios really are that tasty!) when I looked over and he had actually "hmmm"ed himself to sleep. His little head was slumped over and so I went to get the camera and the little music that goes off when you turn the camera on woke him up! Darn it! It was a classic picture of a kid sleeping in their high chair! But, I did get a picture of him afterwards! I really can't remember what life was like before Jaydon. It must have been dull and boring and so uninteresting! He really is fun and has so much personality. He pulls the funniest faces and when you can get him laughing, it really is contagious. We love the little guy!!!

Christmas Fun!
It was a fun week with all that has happened. Jason and I have both been home for a long time and we've been able to do lots of stuff...it almost makes it hard to go back to life. Anyhow, we must have been good because Santa visited us! I think me and Jason were more excited for it than Jaydon. We had a great time showing Jaydon how everything goes, especially because we got out the video camera. It was fun to catch some of those really great moments on video!
Things we've done: Chritmas Eve we went to Jason's parent house, we went to look at lights, then came home to have Chritmas morning here. We headed back over to his parent's house for most of Christmas day, trying to stay cozy and warm with the snow we received! We decided to go sledding with Jaydon and he didn't really know what was going on, but he really was in awe over SNOW!!! We also did a lot of after Chritmas shopping and managed to drop Jaydon off with Grandma so we could eat at Hamiltons. We visited Jason's grandmas in Idaho, then headed up to my parent's house to spend New Year's Eve with them. Jaydon and cousin Addy were opening presents together at my parent's house. They sure have a good time together and they both love having what the other has! They are going to be great playing buddies as they both with have someone to learn to share with! We had a crazy New Year's Eve and I think it's the 1st time I've stayed up TO midnight since Jaydon was born! (Not to confuse everyone with the endless nights of getting up in the MIDDLE of the night!) Anyhow, we played lots of games including Pictionary, Guesstures, Apples to Apples...ate lots of yummy food thanks to my mom and her chocolate and cheese fondues...and rang in the New Year with Dick Clark. It was quite the night. It was fun to go with Jason out in Idaho Falls as my family actually ASKS to watch Jaydon! When we came home it seemed as though Jaydon caught a little cold or something and so he is worn out and tired! But, we are home, trying to unpack and get back into "life"! (This is how I found Jaydon napping today...he looks exhausted!)
