It's Almost Christmas!

It seems like Christmas has snuck up on us and Christmas is not even a week away! And like everyone else we've been busy with all of the joys that come along with the season. We've been making Christmas candy, writing Christmas letters, visiting friends and family, looking at lights and enjoying the snow(sort of!). We love a white Christmas and Jason has been really good at keeping the drive way clear. With today's snow fall it seems as though we have a foot of snow! It is really pretty, but then the cold sets in and then we start wondering if we really love the snow! To share some pictures, we went to Jason's sister house for a sweater party. We were all supposed to wear the Christmas sweaters that have snow flakes and Christmas lights and stuff on them, but most of us just wore sweaters. Thanks to Jason's cousin, we had a litte sweater vest that Jaydon wore with reindeer on it! Jason's mom and Jaydon were the only one's with "Christmas sweaters" on, they should've won a prize! It was a fun party with lots of goodies to eat~(gotta love the holiday foods!)
We also had a good game of Battle of the Sexes and I'm not sure if the girls or guys won, but I'm pretty sure it was the girls:)! Thanks to Travis and Jessica for having all of us and our loud kids at their house.
We also went out last night in 5 degree weather to deliver neighbor treats! We bundled Jaydon up and he reminded us of the kid on the movie Christmas Story because he couldn't move his arms, we thought it was pretty funny. We put him in the stroller and put blankets around him, then we put hats and gloves on and went out! It was almost like we were little candy elves, and we had a good time, but poor Jaydon was soooo tired when we were done. He was a good sport! But beyond all of the parties and good cheer we can all spread, it really is nice to look back and realize how blessed we are. We have a lot to be thankful for and every year we try to keep the "Christmas Spirit" with us for more than just December, but for all year round because it really does feel good to share with other and give service for those in need. Oh, it really is the most wonderful time of the year!

Thanksgiving weekend

Well, the weekend we have looked forward to has come and gone. It was held with so much anticipation because not only did we get a break from our regular lives, but Jason took his last CPA test on the Wednesday before! I am excited for him to have taken the last one and he is pretty confident that he passed. I am excited for ME to have my husband back, he can now come home from work and play with me and Jaydon! We will have to have a BIG party when he gets the offical results!
Thanksgiving was fun too...we went to Idaho Falls and spent a couple days with my family. After turkey dinner we went out in my parents yard to get a picture just in case the pictures we are getting this week don't turn out. Then we decided to have an almost-all-nighter, no JAYDON decided we'd have an almost-all-nighter on Thanksgiving thanks to his 1st tooth appearing! But we resisted the urge to go shopping at 4 am and waited until about 10 am to leave. We both think it is fun to get out and be with other holiday shoppers and since my family was willing to watch Jaydon, Jason and I left and got most of our shopping done! That night all of my sister's that slept at my parents decided to paint our toe nails and we'd laugh like a bunch of teenagers (or laugh because we were all really tired!) It was fun to see all of the family and have a break from life, but now we are getting excited about the Christmas season and all of the fun things to do in December!
