Convincing my children that a large furry creature visits us to deliver special gifts is getting harder and harder every year....seriously. In fact so hard this year Todd literally announced to Sydney that the EB wasn't real...she had a small inkling that maybe he wasn't but was not ready to give up the idea. But Dad crushed her idealism--as much of a relief it was to have her know...it was also heartbreaking to see that innocence leave. She immediately asked me if SC was real........ of course....I BELIEVE so she should to. Sam casually told us she saw us hiding eggs a few years ago so was pretty sure the EB wasn't real. That is the difference between my girls...one is pretty laid back about things ....the other gets a little up tight about the details.
Lets Dye some eggs.......
Kate (Todd's niece) came and spent the weekend with us from BYU-I
Easter Egg Hunting in G&G backyard- They filled the eggs with candy, dollar bills & quarters..my kids were in heaven. They did a 7 and under hunt in the backyard and a 7 and older hunt in the gravel pit.
The gravel pit---they had a ton of eggs to find in a lot of space
This is the right way to do it.....on a four wheeler.
