I am soo Thrilled!

One of the only things worth mentioning yesterday was that during Physical Ed, our new and latest PE teacher, Miss-whatshername...? delayed us all from playing our badminton. Ok, maybe it did not affect me much, but you should see Boonz and Dharma. They were incensed, angry, pissed, mad, furious. Whichever word floats your boat, they were pissed all right. And Mr Joseph was going along with her plans with a resigned tone which I think she should learn to recognise...=.= I feel sorry for him.

Today, we wasted 2 periods practicing for a dance we did not practice. Sounds too complicated for your limited brain space devoted to analysing? (ok, that felt real mean...) Meaning we were not practicing for 2 whole periods=1 hour and a half...When we finally did, I finally managed to hear the song of my childhood i.e. Michael Jackson's Thriller. I have seen the MTV when I was little, and I thought that pae looked rather cool as a skeleton.

Oh yeah, and Amanda is purportedly gonna learn the dance steps by tomorrow. Haha, we will see.

And there was that ho-hum talk about Actuarial Science. You shitting me? Almost 2 hours were spent on talking about Taylor's ADP program and actuarial science was..almost nonexistent. A promotional stunt. And give me a good reason why you call that a "career" talk? Why call it a "Career Week"?

Not a bad day after all. My foot.

Good Night

Mr.P: IU Night was held yesterday. That is all.

Me: No that is not all. I participated in it.

Mr. P: Oh did you?

Me: Yes I did. I helped the Interacters.

Mr. P: So that's an accomplishment?

Me: Oh yes, indeed.

Ah, IU Night. This event happens to happen every year. Can inaugural be used?
Anyway, I had arrived there rather early only because I had decided to walk my sis there. The moment I reached there, I was thrust into a web of intrigue.

Was supposed to "usher" people in, but what the heck. I paid 5 bucks not to show people to their seats but sit on seats. So there I was with Ken Vin and the silly BERK chop on my palm.

Anyway, it started with the national anthem followed by the Interact Song. "Interact Song"??? What the cucumber? You mean there actually is an interact song? I gotta listen to them sing it. Guess what? I heard whispers which were mostly blocking out the already inaudible murmur of the song. Guys, you have great Interacters for the record. Bla bla bla.

Fashion show, talent time...sigh. Zzzz. Wait! There was Nazeera's performance on Kelly Clarkson's Because of You? (I kinda forgot the song...) in which she tried too hard ( a Nazeera trait) and did, IMHO, quite well..(well, I do not plan to have a red tan mark on my back when I go back on Monday...) but unfortunately, people were booing. Losers...
Oh yeah, did I forget to mention, she brought this rather hot looking guy (I am not gay...) to school and I immediately bugged her about him.

"Who's dat hot guy?"
"Oh, one of my friends."
"Really? I thought he was your boy-friend.."
"No-lah!"
"Really? He a mix?"
"Pakistani mix.."
"What base are you guys at now??"

Hah. Hope readers understood what conspired.

Then there was this parody on Harry Potter. Freaking funny crap. It drove me bats...but unfortunately, according to Ramesh and gang, they sucked. Oh well, try again Hui Jien.

Another Harry Potter stunt on the catwalk was pulled off by none other than Sze Li Wei. He was posing as Harry Potter and said these long shitty strings of incantations I nearly barfed while I was recording using Boonz' vid cam. So damn funny.

Met Matthew there. At first I thought who the heck is this guy? Then realization dawned when he got called up for the BERK quiz. I met him in church....bummer.

All the "po"s came in from 7 onwards. Why so lame? Fashionably late my pink bottom.

While we were cleaning up, I complained to Ken Chong about the clowns who did not do anything (our school's Interactors..) and he retorted by saying that they did not come at 6.00 sharp and left at 9.30 sharp. Why, again, so lame? So there we were, busting our butts and backs.

Summing it all up, I think Amanda did pretty well. Congrats Miss Europe/America (where is she from originally..). Not bad for an event that was prepared in less than 1 week. Malaysians are last minute people. Heck.

Gonna have ESOL Speaking test tomorrow with Boonz as my partner (speaking partner...) and we will be comparing opinions on pictures that are not that interesting. Wish all of us best of luck..all the best people especially the guys in CPE i.e. Keegan, Jia Min, Wei and Shah.

the long wait

Finally, we arrive in the Windows comp lab, instead of the retarded Apple lab.
Gone are the days that we depend on the buttonless apple mouses.
Let me summarise the events of these past 2 weeks in no particular order.

1. Sat for the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) exam. Sat for the CAE level (Certificate of Advanced English). This proves that my proficiency in English is quite good even though words that escape my mouth in moments of anger are not worh mentioning about.

2. Sat for the Abschlusstest. That is in German the Final Test. Well, it is the final test at least for my level. It was a blast, and today my mom's planning to ring them up to get the results.

3. Got started on some book about Project Paperclip; a project in which was conducted by the US Government right after the second World War. The original intention of the US Army was to siphon off the talents off these Nazi Scientist and benefit themselves instead. Ever wondered where the Sarin gas came from? Ask America. They used it in the Cold War. Of course it was invented by the Nazi.

4. I rediscovered some stupid online game I had invested soo much time in last time. "Sweet" and "nostalgic" memories awash me. I am a sucker for games.

5. Had cheese cake from one of the rich people's eating places yesterday: Starbucks.

6. Oh yeah, on another similar note, my sister made me remain back yesterday just to call some eateries for the Interact club in order to buy some vouchers. For the purpose of calling them, she used my phone. I want a full refund of RM10 from the Interact Club!!!!!!

7. As for IU Night, I have volunteered, as an honour-bound prefect, to "usher" in students from other schools to our beloved school: Sekolah Sri Garden.
IU Night
Date: 22 June 2007
Time: 5.30p.m.-9.30p.m.
Venue: Sekolah Sri Garden, Off Jalan Pria, Taman Maluri, Cheras 55100 KL.
Theme: One Night in London
Ticket Price: RM 10

I am not a sales manager neither am I an Interacter. In fact, I have said and I wish to say again, refund me.

That's all I guess. Maybe I also hope that the person owning the most reliable wireless in the world a.k.a. the neighbour I do not know, to please switch on the wireless once again and do not go on any vacations any longer as long as I, honourable resident of Pertiwi Indah live here.

The Big Buildup

When something builds up over time: be it anger, pressure, stress.
There will be consequences...like this one.
Let me begin with a statement:

This Is THE MOST Mundane Holiday I have ever had!

Let me first begin with last week...hmm.
Well, I DO noe that Boonz birthday had passed. But I did not send him a little message...nothing!
Well, here it is: Happy Belated Birthday Boonz aka Vince.

Went with Euu Min and her bro Eeu Jin to watch Blades of Glory. Initially I was quite unsure. I mean, what can men dressed in tight leotards be worth a watch? Bloody sissy lah. There were a bunch of "po"s at the back. (See, the word "po" was coined up by yours one and only truly which was used to replace the word "lala" which meant girls or guys who dress up like they feel in the mood for camwhoring when they are in the mall. Got the idea from Teletubbies: There's Tinky winky, Dipsy, Lala, and Po. So, instead of lala, i say po. And good thing is, my sis picks it up fairly quick. I dont watch retarded aliens by the way, my sister does.)
So, these "po"s are a bunch of Malay girls (not that I am a sexist or a rascist) who scream at almost everything. They were displaying some stupid trailer about some silly horror movie that looks like something about a ventriloquist: something like Chucky's Revenge...wth

So there was this something about Charles "Chazz" Michael Michaels who sang My Humps while exercising. Like I said, it was a show, basically, with no basic substance..funny but forgettable.

But of course before that we were busy lining up to get the tickets for POTC which I was anticipating for so long, only to end up buying some mediocre film ticket...ok, mebbe I was too harsh. Still...

But of course in the course of my slow pacing holidays, I managed to finish Christine and From a Buick 8. Ah, The Shadow Of The Wind was absolutely gripping too. Courtesy of Ng Wei Li.

Oh yeah, I finished Lost Seasons 1 and 2 with my sis in between of meals:lunch and dinner. But unfortunately Season 3, my sister explicitly said, was reserved for after SPM. Still, thanks to Keegan for those long hours of entertainment.

Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park was also a blast! I lifted it off my uncle's old books. Ok, my mom had the initiative of doing that instead. I benefited.

Nazi's 501 Must Read Books also deserves praise.

My personal book of MUST READ books:
War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
Next by Michael Crichton

Ok, I will not be too full of expectations. I thrive on books.
School's due on Monday. Oh joy.
