neck busting

I have been spending a shitload of time on this little laptop of mine. Soo much time has been invested that my neck just aches like crap everytime I 'finish' my 'business'.

With English and Malay oral presentations and the KLMUN coming up, I just do not know which one I should give my full commitment and priority to. Hmm...
Obviously I should care more about BM. The passing up of the information is on Thursday! Wtcrap!
Right now, I am inhaling loads of incense and burning smells emanating from the window. Which of course is caused by the excessive burnings. If I happen to die in the near future while still living at Pertiwi 'Indah' (more like busuk) it will most probably be caused by open burnings and the inhalation of crap from the atmosphere. Not from stranglings and masochistic fantasies but death by smoke. What a life.

So, the order of the day: BM, KLMUN, english. Damn, I am good at prioritising.
Are you?

Sugar!! I need sugar!

The wet market was half full today. And I mean half full as in not many Verkaufers around. Half of them opted to spend their day not working as it is still in the time of The Chinese New Year. Sad. Not many choices of food to buy. Surprisingly, most of the stalls which my mom frequents are closed. Shit.

German class was almost sleepable. I was glad to be able to make it out of the room when 1.35-ish came. Mik and I made our way to Ken Vin's house. Pretty nice to actually walk in and see a couple of my classmates and Vin's brother-in-law gambling money over a game of Blackjack. I gambled with money for the first time today. But of course, it was not my money, it was Ken Vin's. HAHA.
he lost approximately 30 bucks today and had a hundred something net loss over the Chinky New Year. Talk bout being rich. Shit.

Played the PS2 for the rest of the time after eating the delicious cake. His birthday celebration was today but his birthday is actually on the 27th. Wait. Was it the 28th? or the 29th? Crap.
Niways, got his this really good book. Never really read Michael Crichton but my mom recommended it for its really good English. Wow. Ken Vin, you better appreciate it! Could I borrow it when you are done? Please say yes!! Next.

E Chiove.

The beginning, all over again.

School reopens tomorrow. Perfect. Bore us out with the stupid holidays and have an exam right after that. Ask me whether I am thrilled that the assessment is on Monday.

A newspaperless day

Today was so eventful the most avid and willing listener of mine will fall asleep.
We had planned the night before to go jogging at KLCC today morning at 7.30 and fortunately (or unfortunately whichever way you look at it) we woke up at 9.30. Oh well. Talk about sleeping in.

Ate some more sweet glutinous rice cakes for breakfast. That was all. Lunch was a scrappy affair. What the heck. Found out that Andrea Bocelli's Sentimento was sooo much like some kind of opera music! Wow! My favourite now. Had Sentimento quite some years back. Romanza was even later but I have not realised that his music was this good until now. I told my mom it was good music and she asked me about the title of the cd. I said Sentimento and said that it was really cheerful and ala-opera but she cut me down and said that sentimento meant sentimental. Talk about opening my big mouth and adding some "educated" remarks. Oh well.

Procrastinated (something quite unusual for someone of his stature..hhmph) about Encik Iskhandar's work i.e. the youth today topic for the essay. I do not have the will to write anything. Well, Ming was right. "How can you write something passionate about our youth? Youth power?" Oh well.

Listened to more music. Listened to my sister moan about my choice of music. Procrastinated some more. Attempted to study History. Failed miserably and took a nap. Oh well. Can I stop using that stupid line? No. Oh well.

Today was slack off day. So will the next 2 days to come. Might as well enjoy my holidays.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But I will say in this modern world the fingers are mightier than the gun. Hah.

Yesterday, today.

Wow. Yesterday was....very enlightening. Isabell's sister who was almost non-existant to me (well, not exactly non-existant, I knew her name but not really that close to her. Ok. Never spoke to her before until yesterday.) was speaking to me. Oh well. Thanks to this little competition, I get to meet new people.
There's this new group of people: girls named Maggie and Sarah. Guy named Vik. Pretty friendly with them.
Screwed up on the Oral Interpretation today. Shit!!! But hey. I am a newbie. I guess that's a pretty legitimate reason to lose to the pros. Pooped at Duet Acting too. Hope Wei's not that disappointed. Jack Worthing! You are the worst role I have ever taken on! No more gentlemen roles for me. I suck at being royalty.

There is this guy named George Bull. Whew. He was a heartthrob to the girls ( I assume he was) and he could act. Oh well. Some people have it got it coming really good early.

Tomorrow is the finals. I would like to dedicate this post to Keegan and Ju Piau who will be in the semis and hopefully in the finals tomorrow. Let us all pray that at least Sri Garden has a debate team winning. (Thank me Keegan...)

Oh dear...

Bloody busy today. Ok. Not that busy. Still. There was that "preview" in the hall that comtributed quite a lot of stress on me. But what the heck. Then there was the issue of the submittal of the script for Duet Acting. Crap. Everyone (I am not going to mention who) were complaining about Ms Mabil. Me excluded. At least I have respect for that old lady. Unlike some people.

Mr Is. also highlighted the prospect of publishing a little collection of stories which Wei Li will garner from guess whos....The Students Of Form 5Sc1. Hoohah. I would of course like to write when I am in a fit of passion and not in the midst of preparing for the retarded examinations. Bloody....

Just finished reading Isabell's post. Realised that her brother is indeed cute. As I was making my way out of the hall with her and my sis after school which was at about 3.50 (which was technically still during school hours for Isabell...), along came her cute brother. Yelled. Hugged his sister. That was cute. Except that I never had that chance to do that to my sis. I am a big buffalo right now. Not an infant.

Received Shuya's email reply. Replied it. Thank God for my wits. I had deleted the full stop in his email and sent it as I had tried to send an email to an address with a full stop and that annoying Mail Daemon failure crap popped out the next instant in my inbox.
Reply fast Sarah Huynh!!!

Departure

Hark. Today marks the traumatic departure of our honoured guest that I will never forget. Ok, that sounded fake.

I am saddened deeply by the departure of our new friend whom I have made good friends with for the past 3days. This sucks. Depression sets in. I always get depressed after these kind of events take place i.e. the saying of good byes. I hate good byes. This is the first and most hated...HATED thing in my life. To utter a good bye. Approximately 24 hours ago, we were running through Mid Valley in search of some stupid eggs and yoghurt drink for some little "race" organised by my (God's) church and now, he's somewhere in Kuala Lumpur and I do not know where. So near yet so far. They will probably be departing on Tuesday.

Picture this:
You go on a walk on the beach. You leave little foot imprints in the soft sand. Along comes a wave. It washes the print which gradually becomes level with the sand again.
That footprint in the soft sand represents the emptiness left when someone leaves. The wave represents time.
This certainly quite proves the saying that time and tide waits for no man. Either you overcome the loss or wallow in self pity.

Let me just recall their names for a last time.
Shuya Tsuchiya. Yuka Kimura. Michiro __, Tomo__,
hmmm...who else...gah! Those people are last standing Japanese names which I seem to recall only. The rest...forgotten.

"Those who put their hand on the plow and still look back are never fit for the Kingdom."

Loads of pictures

We are in the school....

Day 1 of Arrival of YB Shuya Tsuchiya

The emceeing thing yesterday was a blast!! Mr Gan BK recognised my talent (whatever....) and said
"Thank you John..."
Then continued his speech. Wait. He did say thank you John right? Many people thought he called me something else. What the heck. But before that Mr Khaw was kind of impatient towards the end of the his speech and did not allow the translator/teacher of Hokuryo to translate his sentence as he chopped in the middle of her translation and said thank you.

Then after all the hoohah and ceremonies, we finally get to know each other in the badminton hall. Walked through the throngs of Hokuryo and Sri Gardeners and went searching for the YB. Damn friendly guy. Saw him amongst his two buddies sitting down. These oh-so-polite people offered me their egg sandwiches. But I did not accept. After all, they are guests. Chatty mood and atmosphere coming into play. They were great people. Seriously.

After making a series of gestures and waves and broken up phrases in sentences, I had managed to convince him to stay with his buddies in the school hall after I brought him out of the badminton hall. Then I went along to help the prefects to take groups of students to the classrooms to have fun with the students (SSGers) in it. Kist asked whether I was busy flirting with her friend (Isabell) and I did not know what to say....

Met this Japanese girl Yuka Kimura in that group. Nice person. Then we (Mugen and I) left them in a class (form 2E??) full of hooligans. But not without getting a snide remark made by Mr Iskhandar in the corridor:
"Taking advantage of them (Yuka and her friend...another girl...) huh?"
What could I do?? I was at the back of that group while Mugen was in front of the group chatting with the guys....(like he was helpless to do so...)
But the girls were nice all the same. That was why I felt so mean when I left them alone to fend for themselves in a vile classroom. (ok...I was stereotyping back then. But what could I do? They all acted like what I predicted i.e. wild and unruly.) Managed to pass the message that they should remain in the classrooms until called out and we (Mugen and I) were leaving them there through Yuka who let me use that nifty electronic translator which they all had with them.

Canteen food was much better that day...(duh! the Japanese students were there...) and che and I had coupons...so we got them free!!! And then we went back to the hall for the "handing-over" ceremony...that was a stupid name for a ceremony...its like the police were handing over convicts to transferred prisons...

Left the hall with Shuya and sis. Met many peeps on the way who exclaimed over the guy...(Sui Yee, some primary school kids who were jealous of me having Shuya...and many more..)
Met Yuka (again..) and told her to enjoy time with her host...what a nice guy I am...
That guy's luggage was like rocks...heavy shit.
He was sooo polite about removing his blazer. Wow. I did not realise how polite he could be until this morning...

He showed me his sketch book in the house and it said that he would like to be a nursery teacher. That seemed to explain itself i.e. how the primary kids got attracted to him...
He liked to draw and wanted to make a little sketch of us.

Went to Aquaria at 3.00. Met Wei Li and Michiro there. Saw the sights. Looks like Aquaria is not really Aquaria. It had some jungle stuff too. The guys were fascinated. Nice scorpions...

They liked the big fishes....nice. Then we all walked to Kinokuniya to lookie at some bookies. Mostly manga anyway. They were all in Chinese Mandarin characters that they could not read them. Oh well...

Took Shuya to Petaling Street a.k.a. Chinatown. Freaking kitanai.(dirty) But before that we took him to the Hindu and Buddhist temples. Then after the dirty streets of Petaling we went to eat some chinese food. He does not like curry and squid. Checked. No squid. He likes cucumbers. Checked.

We went to the Eye On Malaysia. At first he was quite apprehensive and feigned shaking legs and fainting spells. But he went anyway after much forcefulness on my part....hehe.
It was nice. German and Swiss technology rocks. Shuya was always worried about accidents. We went home and slept at 12.30am.

Today was another episode which I might be able to type out tomorrow.

too much...

Hey hey...guess what. My wish to overload myself with activities has finally been fulfilled. And I make this day known as the First Day of the Year 2007 When John did not Finish His Homework. God knows how long this shit will continue. I cannot take it anymore. I feel rather stupid right now as I am complaining that I still have unfinished business and still I chose to go online. Oh well...

This morning was hectic. Ok. Not really. Had a little rehearsal at the hall. Master of ceremonies thing. For the "day-the-Japanese-people-arrive-at-Sri-Garden" a.k.a. Friday. Nothing that tough. Had physical ed after that. Smelly bloody white shirt. Better remind myself to soak it in Clorox a.k.a. chlorine when I get back i.e. now. But I still have not done anything about the smelly shirt. Nice going...

Did a little presentation in front of Ms. Chan (whose name I always confuse with the name Ms. Susan...watever...) Well, had a little screw up on the intonation. Duh...

Had a couple of Dunkin Doughnuts (mocha and strawberry) which my sis and I bought from the Interact people (my sis is an Interact-er herself..). Quite pleasant tasting things. Ok. They taste damn good. Though I thought that strawberry was gay. Damn. I am gay. But I am NOT a gay. There is a difference between those both sentence structures for those dumbasses among you who do not know the difference. Pardon the insult. It was intended.

Tired. And the Japanese guy is going to come on Friday. The house...in a mess. Crap.

hark at the assholes...pray for the ones who make you happy

Someone really made me happy this morning. I was like "Crap, some people really read crap..."(i.e. my blog...)
UJP: He's just being too bloody modest..

"Oh yeah, I've read your blog. I also blog about random stuff."
"Feel free to post any comments."
"Oh, I did."

Something like that went on this morning not exactly in verbatim but it did add a bit of light footed-ness to my step. Do not take it the wrong way.

While on my way up the main stairs, Kelvin was on the third floor and resorted to shouting "Faggot!!"!" while I was doing my usual morning exercise. Oh well. Talk about having good friends. Talk about the way they greet you and brighten your day in the morning by mouthing an obscenity. Just because I was late (7.39 when I signed in....). Thanks Kelvin. Hope you can do better than that next time i.e. shouting "FUCKER!!!" while a parent/teacher is standing beside you and while I am double stepping the stairs....I like eating crabs by the way. If they were not that expensive and did not have seasons, I would be eating them by the dozen...hehe.....

I had also unearthed my Physics lab report book in class. I had wrongly accused my sister the night before of stealing my book. Oh well. All those whackings and ala GESTAPO tortures were for nothing. Sorry che...(that was all he could manage...)
Do not worry. John did not hit her. He exaggerates...right??

Let me see....anything funny the teachers did today? Yeah. The most memorable one was the 'Rocky' incident. Betcha my sis already had this down. But what the heck.
Jia Min would also recall fondly that this incident had happened to her before. Amanda got man-handled by Puan "Rocky" Rokiah i.e. tickled until point of no return i.e. the person which the tickling is done onto is getting really tickled and starts retaliating i.e. whacking back.
So far, I have noticed Puan "Rocky" Rokiah doing this quite often. Maybe we might have another incident in March. Maybe she is clocking up on experience on how to tickle people. Heck, she does it sooo well. You rock Rocky.

Then we go through the usual lab thing. (chemistry...) The nitrogen dioxide was getting kind of out of hand and so the lab assistant veto-ed that we all will not have to do the nitrate experiment. But it looked kind of fun though Boon Hong was nearly dead i.e. swooning with his handkerchief...something quite rare for a person of his stature and he is rarely seen with his handkerchief in his nose unlike yours truly. Heck, they even printed the stupid photo of me in India sneezing in the conference room. Shit. In the freaking yearbook. I was a laugh. But I was not laughing. Hah.

Observed my sis and Keshinn do their duet act thing...Keshinn was bitching that I was looking at them performing and she felt uncomfortable. Well! Everyone!!!! Keshinn hates performing in front of a crowd!!

Wei came over. Ate lunch. Practiced our act. Watched the CD on the Variety concert last year. Made some cynical comments. Laughed. "Ahh"ed and "Ohh"ed over the dances. Left.

Depressed people actually take it in their stride to relieve the world of depression and do so by listening to songs like Andrea Bocelli. My mom dislikes him sooo much to the extent that she gave me all her AB CDs. Should have been there to see the look of pure bliss on my face.

Are you depressed? Call me.
