since i'm free-er now, better make use of it to accomplish more things.

23rd july; singapore international band festival (sibf) & meiden in concertday 3:
french tutorial in the morning.
mid-afternoon went to meet the rest for early dinner at causeway point before sibf.
it was a bad start to green bushes.
everything felt so impromptu!
after that was spartacus, things got better..
i like the grandioso part! (:
so we chionged down to SCH for meiden's concert.
managed to get a cab the moment we got out of trcc.
BUT! the driver had super bad service, he didn't know where's SCH.
we ended up alighting at the other side of tanjong pagar mrt.
and then RAN all the way to SCH in heels.
it was interval time.
cow told us the first half was awesome.
missed it! but they played most of the songs from first half again at MMM IV.
there were no more seats so we sat upstairs, vip seats with all the jap people/parents?
but the view was super bad, can't see anything!!!
cow, val and i ended up kneeling over the ledge watching the concert.
furthermore, 2nd half was the gimmicks section.
i miss hearing them play songs from 2008.
there were a few from 2008 - deep purple medley (the best since 2006), disco party, saturday night, olympics.
nothing has changed other than the people.
it was super nostalgic.
especially when they sang cosmos! ♥

we took meiden's bus back to mj after the concert.
camwhored a bit on the bus with them!
shoko and hayato were damn zai, the whole bus was sleeping except them.
they were busy camwhoring also hahaha.
even i myself was gonna k.o at that point of time.

day 4:
meiden went shopping in the morning.
and mj practice in the afternoon.
but i was stuck at yog venue tour.. ):
i felt as if i was gonna fall into depression.
everything was just so fucked up for that day.
totally FOL day for us.
shall blog the final day next time.
i feel like sleeping and i haven't started studying for french and jap!

21st - 25th july; MEIDEN EXCHANGE!
day 1:
i went to the airport with regina to fetch them.
kinhang and justin were there too with mr wong and some of the exco.
they're finally out! :D
briefing.
the lorry full of luggages, stacked to the top.
took their buses back to mj.
sat with the percs, recognised half the section!

hayato got a shock when i said his name lol.
welcome party.
eating egg tarts.
we left mj after the farewell party.
after that was a series of FML incidents.
i went back to school for biz finance test which i failed damn badly sheesh.
(got back the results today. zzz.)
there was traffic jam at tampines and i was late for the paper for 20mins and the paper was only 1 hour long...
sat down and stared at the questions.
gosh i focused on the wrong things and suddenly i can't remember how to do the mcqs.
the formulas got messed up lah.
then i forgot to take my calculator..
ohwell, it's over.
supper with raz, joel and aaron after that at macs.
got percussion tee! :D
day 2:
was supposed to wake up for their morning assembly performance but i overslept.
so i went down to watch their combined band rehearsal.
there were more than enough parts so i was sitting at the back with the rest to lepak.
zul came and left!

so kinhang, regina and i decided to go to sentosa with them with cliff.
he drove so it was good we didn't had to cab, thanks cliff! haha.
the new tram! never take before, suaku hahaha.
it was like a meiden hunt trying to figure out which part of sentosa were they at.
we tried the beach and koufu but failed..
so we looked at the map and figured they're most likely at imbiah.
and BINGO! we spotted a meiden jacket on the escalator and chased after them.
(sounds stalkerish)
they were deciding where to go cos it was free & easy.
percs wanted to go beach so we went with them! :D
they were so excited they ran straight into the water!

we left them to play by themselves at the beach while we went to eat.
lol we got so excited after finding them and didn't had time to eat.

supposed to come down by luge but they were late so they went straight back to the meeting point. their punctuality value is imba.
after that we took their bus back to vivo.
we all had plans at night so we didn't follow them to imm for dinner.
i went for swsy practice, LAST PRACTICE BEFORE SIBF.
gosh we only had 2 proper and serious rehearsals.
following days i'll blog again soon!
time to do other stuff for now. (:
i need to study for my french speaking test and jap test!

17th july; mjcsb & sws conn-selmer concertmorning went back for mjcsb practice.
it was also cow's camera-testing day - prelude to meiden exchange!
afternoon was concert rehearsal @ nafa.
evening/night was concert! :D

regina and i left at 11.30am for rehearsal.
rehearsed armenian dances for 1 hour with prof ho.
i almost died of shock, i thought the score was with me.
heng it was with mai!
and so i rehearsed through armenian without score.
sheesh the song is (literally - cos i was playing tambourine HAHAHA) at my fingertip.
then we had a half an hour break before rehearsal with mr yasuhide ito.
gloriosa was niceee! :D
but sadly it didn't sound as nice during the concert. ):
lol quite retarded but quite cute eh?
met joel at bras basah to make the percussion tee.
had to make changes to the colours..
after that the 3 girls went shopping at bras basah - music shops! HAHA.
i wanna buy timpani & mallet sticks!
my stickbag is like so useless with only drumsticks. \:
anyway we found drumkey and pitchpipe.
bought the drumkey and decided to buy the red pitchpipe from elsewhere next time.

i screwed up my armenian thumbroll - i tested out before the song and it was rollable but suddenly during the song i can't roll. ):
the off-beats were... kinda unfeelable at some point of time.
gloriosa, i'm kinda disappointed for my toms part for movement 1.
i couldn't get that part right during rehearsal and concert that day. sighhh.
anyway, a great experience to be conducted under mr ito.
learnt quite some stuff from him.
and tmr i'm gonna meet another mr ito! (:
i met/am meeting 2 itos in a week hoho.
excitinggg meiden is coming tmr! :D :D
but i'm restricting myself from highing cos i'd better finish my hrm project first.
and study for tmr's biz finance test argh.

school is screwing our lives up. X:

i need to prepare myself further for sibf on friday too..
it feels like i just re-learnt my part cos of the 'new temple block'.
gosh i still need to do all these in the midst of highing!
