Reflection of life

It's been years since I last blogged, been reflecting on myself and my life for the past few days, so had so many thoughts but no where to express, so I decided to express it back in my blog.

Many things had happened since 2012, my life had a drastic change after year 2013, I got married and became a father of 2, but all these happened just within 2 to 3 years and my life is different now, but I am very happy and fortunate enough to have my own family which many of my friends do not have at my age.

Many people around me or that I've met will always ask me this question "At this age having my own family, is it easy? Am I able to cope?"

My answer to them "Don't think short term, think long term, as short term will only demoralize me, but long term, things will be good." After saying the answer, I will always be thankful to my wife, my parents and also my parents-in-law for all the support be it morally or financially, it won't be easy without them supporting me and of course my two naughty kids waiting at home for me to end work and come back seeing them, makes me feel every hardship that I'm going through is totally worth it.

A big thank you to all of them.

Recently, did some reflection on myself and felt that I am really a failure as a son and as a friend, can't really handle friendship properly and feel like friends around me are like having a distance and attitude has change, but after reflection I realize that actually things are all on me myself, problems starts from myself, think i really a failure as a friend...haizzzzzzzz. I fail as a son too, at this current age and still a burden to my parents, can't even earn any income to give my parents and also myself to spend...haizzzzzz...Cai ZhanYong, WHAT THE HELL HAVE U BEEN DOING, everything u do is such a failure...haizzzzzzzz.

Today went to J-Cube for the very first time, after it has official open for like few weeks, the design and facilities in the mall itself isn't very well done and looks like a rush out project done....hahaha...anyway that wasn't the main point of my this post.

Went to J-Cube to watch "Battleship" with Jia Wei, Desmond, Jun Qi and Zhi Guang, the movie was super duper action pack and is a worth it 130mins spent in the cinema and i would say is so far the best movie for Year 2012, never regret wasting the 8bucks on this show...hahahah.

BOOO!!! I'm back to blogging again, my last post was few months back i supposed, so today just nice got to mood to blog so feel like blogging abit :)

Recently, i just brought my DSLR, Sony a77, this camera costed my pocket to have a super duper big hole sia, my bank account from 4 digit number become 3 digit number...gonna really save up again to make up for this super duper big hole.

My first event shoot was Jurongville Secondary School Speech Day Parade, after trying out the camera and looking at the photos, i felt tat is quite worth it to buy the camera :P

I did another photo shoot during the night with Desmond while the others(Jia Wei, Zhi Guang, Chuan Sin, Kau Jie and Jia Hao) slack around and play flying RC helicopter.

Got quite a few things to update on this bloggy, got to clear some dust to start off a brand new year :)

28th Dec went to Camp Resilience for HK-JPC (Hong Kong Junior Police Call) HRC, is quite a small group but is a quite a tough yet fun thing conducting HRC for them, tough in communication wise but fun in as they are a group of fun ppl, listening to them communication with each other in canto is quite funny although i know how to listen abit of canto :P

29th Dec stay overnight at Camp Resilience for Round Ubin Kayaking Expedition, was quite a fun experience to kayak in a double kayak and in a cooling weather but yet kena sunburnt but is okay, wanna be dark dark...hahaha...compare this round ubin and the previous round ubin conducted 2yrs back, this one is like much more relax wor...so can consider good!!! hahaha

After the kayaking expedtion we (Meng Siang, Alvin, Jia Wei, Xin Yi, Wan Ling, Allison, Gwen, Juliana and a few others forget their name le :x) travel all the way from Changi to Kallang Leisure Park just to eat KouFu :P sound weird but we did it...hahahahaha :x After eating and slacking then HOME SWEET HOME :D

31st Dec 2011, last day of year 2011 was a very special one this year, i didn't spend it with my friends or family but i spend it with my GF :D Initially was planning to spend it with my friends but due to some cock up in between then i decided to spend it with her :) Went over to Marina Square during the evening to kill time but realize tat is still super early to 2359hrs so her sister and brother plus a few of her sister's friends went to play pool, while me and my GF went shopping instead of walking around Marina Square which was the initial plan...hahaha...walk into World Of Sports and saw there's Year End Sales with 40% discount then my pocket sense some bleeding coming liao...in the end brought 1 Columbia Shoe, 1 Columbia Windbreaker, 1 Columbia Cap...total damage done to my pocket was nearly $200...felt the pain but yet happy :) hahahaha

After our shopping walk which is more like my shopping only and with her to accompany me :) we went back to the pool area to wait for time to pass lor...she entertain me and i entertain her so time will pass lor...so went out to Marina Square the open area to watch the fireworks display, the crowd was really People Mountain, People Sea sia...all machiam picnic outside for hours liao sia...hahaha...went to find a spot then stand there for like 30mins to 40mins sia...just to watch a 8minutes firework display...hahahaha...sound so kiasu...but indeed the display was worth waiting...the fireworks was really awesome plus watching together with someone i love, imagining the sence as so romantic wor but actually we are standing...hahahahha :P

1st Jan 2012, after finish watching the fireworks went over to Khatib de 24hr NTUC with my gf and her brother to buy ingredients for steamboat which was decided quite quite last minute then cab over to her house to have a mini steamboat at around 3plus in the morning...imagine urself eating steamboat at that timing...so weird...hahaha...but yet fun :) After eating steamboat, went to her room to play poker cards with her sister and her sister friend...hahaha...then while her brother and her sister another friend each playing ipad and computer...sound so crowded in her room...hahahaha...after that play until tired le, i fell asleep for a few minutes but end up a couple of hours...after woke up bus over to Jalan Kayu there to eat roti prata...hahaha...then bus back to her house to take my things then jiu HOME SWEET HOME :D

The last day of 2011 and first day of 2012 was spend with my special one, indeed a fun and happy moments me and her shall have :) sorry to my friends that i didn't accompany u all, shall make up for u all next year, will bring her along de :P


My New Year Resolution:
1st: Shall not say here (is a secret between me and my gf)
2nd: Hope to get into the course i want for ITE
3rd: Everyone around me to be good health and be happy everyday :)
4th: All my above come true :P

YOYOYO...been awhile since i last blogged :) just nice today time out then come home, so just find some time to clear my dust in my blog if not it will get more dusty and viewers will thought tat it is dead :P

Lots of things had happen recently, good and bad, happy or sad...but the most happiness thing that is i've found a girl whom i love and also a girl whom love me :) we started off our relationship on 5th Dec 2011, and till now although is not very long but we are still standing very strong :) we still need lots of time to understand each other even better and also more time to get use with each other in our life. This is my first relationship and i will try to be a good boyfriend to be by her side whenever she needs me :)

This special girlfriend of mine is non other than Charlene Lim Yan Ting :) I do not have her photos with me as she die die also dun wanna send me so no photos to upload...hahaha...so darling, if u see this post remember to send me ur photo k??? hahahah :P

Next topic, 'N' levels results is out already, and ITE courses application is also opened, finally get to apply for my studies, hopefully everything goes well and i'll be able to start school on 9th Jan 2012. Some of u might be wondering wat courses had i applied, 1st Choice: Higher Nitec in Marine & Offshore Technology, 2nd Choice: Higher Nitec in Civil & Structural Engineering Design, 3rd Choice: Higher Nitec in Chemical Technology, all 3 courses the ITE are all very far, Bishan, Tampines & Simei...but my education level is damn low so no choice got to suck it up and travel and gotta force myself to study and graduate with a good result :)

If manage to go back study means early "ORD" for me, can forget about army stuff and leave the stupid place till my date is up and go back take my Mr Pinky Card...hehehe :)

Next week 2 events coming up, had applied for leave and ready to rock and roll :)
1st: 28th Dec - Hong Kong JPC HRC
2nd: 29th Dec - Round Ubin Kayaking Expedition

woohoo...next week gonna be a busy week, shall find a day after the 2 events and go out with my girl, if not she gonna get "angry" and jealous liao :P

Back to do some updates on my blog before i book in tonight for duty :(

On Thursday, had the Presidential Swearing In Parade...went to Old Police Academy for the final rehearsal before the actual in the evening at Istana, have a super welfare experience given by the Police Force, provide Air-condition room for us as holding place, and also provide us tea-break and dinner which was quite good compare to the green de welfare...then before heading to Istana, all the GOH Contingent were escorted by Traffic Police sia, never in my life i will get escorted by them liao sia, the feeling was so freaking good la, is like some big shot traveling sia...hahahahaha...once in a life time experience for tat (Y) anyway thanks Police Force for providing such good service :)

After the parade, went out to eat supper with the Tengah GOH Clique at Roti Prata House at Thomson Road there...then after tat jiu HOME SWEET HOME :) My GOH Journey have really came to an end after 4months of torturing under the hot sun, marching here and there, and many many fun and laughter we had together, this will become my most memorable part in my NS Life....THANKS GUYS :)

Yesterday, was a freaking fun day and yet sian day, initial plan was just to plainly nua at home and go for BC in the evening, but didn't expect to got a Call Back by OC in the early afternoon...tat one was the most freaking sian part, shall not say much about it as is something quite serious tat happen which also quite sian to go back just for tat problem...haizzzzzzz...anyway shall continue, after tat went to BC to relax and enjoy plus forget wat happened in the afternoon, went jogging with my sister (Miss Chee HuiJuan), then jog for a few rounds jiu stop liao, then start the torturing session conducted by Mr Desmond Ng...hahahahaha...do Chin Up training, and all sort of hands and arms exercise...almost cannot lift up my hand...hehehehe :P
After BC, went for dinner then NIGHT LIFE with Desmond, JiaWei, ZhiGuang, KauJie, JiaHao and ChuanSin, first headed to Woodlands Waterfront, first time going there, didn't bring along camera so was a quite a waste tat didn't had to take photo, anyway went there to play the playground la, was CRAZY man...we play until everyone started sweating like hell...hahahaha...first is POWERSPIN 2000 which is something tat make u spin round and round de, got video de but is with Desmond...hahaha...then havoc until 2plus then headed over to West Coast Park for round 2, went to buy Mac then climb up the Pyramid and slack up there then next up was POWERWAVE 2000 which was super crazy man...tat particular thing was cool man, super fun sia...hahahahha...after tat jiu HOME SWEET HOME, 4 big size person plus 1 skinny person (can guess who are they la) squeezed into JiaWei de small car sia...hahahahha :P anyway THANKS JIAWEI FOR THE RIDE HOME :)

I still have 173 Days more to go, really dunno how to survive this freaking long days sia, just pray hard tat i can book out peacefully every book out tat's all...haizzzzzzzz :(

Although this is just a commercial but it shows how best friends disturb each other and have fun together, this is the type of friendship that really last long.

YOYO...haven been blogging for quite some time le, due to my desktop HDD crash then was thinking tat my mainboard or RAM up lorry but turn one big round it turns out to be HDD spoil...haizzz...files all gone cos never backup but no choice la, better than mainboard or RAM spoil...anyway my computer start a new so every software is fresh new again.

Last Sunday, went for Adidas - King Of The Road Marathon (16.8km), first time joining marathon some was quite excited about it and plus looking at the distance is not really far and not really short, i would say consider average lor...so started off with Desmond and we manage to cover about 3km, then sadly Desmond's calf got muscle strain i suppose, so walk for a distance but then asked him whether can jog anot, he say is very painful so sadly cannot jog le, need to walk for the rest of the distance lor...hahahaha...he told me to carry on but thinking that if i carry on, then he will be damn sian to walk alone for the remaining 13.8km then me alone jog also sian so i choose to walk with him...hehehehe...but also not easy to walk 13.8km sia...quite siong too wor...hahahaha...so me and him jiu go every hydration point to grab 100plus to drink...drink until keep going toilet sia...hahaha...then we estimate tat we will take roughly 3hrs to walk finish the whole marathon but we manage to came back early...hahaha...thought only me and desmond will be the last 2 person among our group but didn't know my silly sister (cute part of her) go wait for both of us at the ending part then 3 of us walk back to the finish line together...hahaha.

Then after the marathon have been rotting at home for the past few days, only until today then manage to got a date with my Buddy, Sock Wei...hahaha...went for lunch with her at Ngee Ann Poly, Makan Place and eat the only food tat i know is nice in Ngee Ann Poly which is Kaki Fuyong lor, intial plan was to eat MacDonald at King Albert Park de but change of plan due to her want to find lecturer to claim money then the lecturer not in school sia, so bo bian need to wait for the lecturer to come back then can claim the money so decided to eat in Ngee Ann Poly le lor.

Hang around in Ngee Ann Poly awhile until 1400hrs like tat then buddy wanna leave for unit then i jiu go home but i change my mind not to go home but to go for my Platoon Cohesion (BBQ Session) at my APS's (Assistant Platoon Sergeant) house which started at 1300hrs de, so head over to his house which is at Lakeshore, which is just walking distance from my house only la, so just go show face awhile lor and since already halfway le jiu thinking i go there can just munch on food and slack around lor BUT when i reached there around 1500hrs like tat, was told tat the fire haven even started lor, so i was thinking wat they were doing since they reached and unpack everything sia then still can finish one whole box of fire starter sia...POWER LA...so i LL liao lor, got to sux it up and help them start the fire liao with another new box of fire starter and still need help them poke 60 pieces of chicken wings to the satay sticks, then still need help them cook...woots...really is intial plan dun work on me today sia, both my intial plans are gone down the drain...hahahahaha...lucky we manage to clear almost all the food sia but still got abit left so seperate the load and bring home lor...after tat all evacuated from Lakeshore at around 1900hrs lor...then HOME SWEET HOME :)


Tmr is Presidential Swearing In Parade/Ceremony, will also consider my very last time wearing Number 1 uniform for RSAF liao, will say feel honour and at the same time feeling sad cos is the last time liao...HOPE TMR EVERYTHING SMOOTH SMOOTH LA :)

Anyway congrats Dr Tony Tan for winning the Presidential Election, although i dun wan u win la but in the end also win liao, so let's see wat u can do ba and also wait for 6yrs later then vote again liao la :)

I'm back blogging again :) luckily tmr got the Presidential Swearing In Parade Training, if not today also can't book out and need do duty in camp lor...phew :) Hope tmr will be fun ba, i hope *cross finger*

Anyway, today had IPPT early morning, so decided to book in the night before, and didn't know that have sufficient rest was shiok to do IPPT :P although i'm ready to fail for every IPPT but still i only concern about my 2.4km timing...hahahaha...static station is FUCK CARE, 2.4km timing is more important to me :)

Today, i super happy sia...my 2.4km timing improve alot alot alot, maybe is lousy timing to many but i'm still proud of myself...wahahahaha :) My timing was 11:44mins...although is not a silver timing but still improve by couple minutes compare to my last took 2.4 :) I started passing 2.4km run only during BMT time then set my personal best timing over at Tekong which is 11:11mins but hope can break that record or even reach about tat timing ba. Luckily my jogging routine did pay off for my 2.4km, this give me the motivation to jog more liao...muahahahahaha...YEAH (Y)

It has been very long since i fail IPPT so happily le sia...hahahaha :)
