Believe in magic - art journal. The mixed media monthly challenge

Do you belive in magic? I do!!

When I saw this months challenge at The Mixed Media Monthly Challenge I just had to make something with stencils and molding paste!
Guess most of you know that I love stencils and I use it with all kind of different mediums.

Molding paste is a "kind" medium, just love it!

On this page I have used Golden's Light Molding paste together with the Peacock Feather stencil by Stencil Girl/Kae Pea

The background was done with Art Anthology Gesso and Colorations spray inks in the colors Peacock feathers, Waimea Beach and Studio Blue.

After the molding paste was dry i used Archival Ink in several colors, monarch orange, orange blossom, saffron, dandelion and viridian.
And some Peacock feathers by Tim Holtz.

I also added some archival ink with Tim Holtz new blending tool on both the background and the molding paste feathers.

Really loved how the colors turned out!

Stamped a "bit" on the background with different stamps by Tim Holtz and Lost Cost Design

Finished it up with some 7Dots Studio word stickers from Illumination collection.

Wish you all a happy evening!

Hugs

Love - layout for SATW #14 & The Mixed Media monthly challenge

Hi folks! Today I'm sharing a layout, just made for fun!

When I saw the release of Scrap around the World challenge no 14

I fell in love with the mood board.
Yellow and black are so dramatic together and as I said, I love it!!

Just look at the mood board - isn't it just amazing?:

I would like to join the first challenge of The mixed media monthly challenge as well.

The challenge this month is "use spray inks & mists"

So here is my take on the two challenges.

I was as mentioned above, inspired by the yellow and black on several of the photos.

Also the word LOVE and all the flowers - because I love flowers!

Photos are taken near our lake Mjøsa, before it flooded.
We were walking on all the rocks and suddenly these gorgeous wild flowers came up - between all the rocks. Didn't see a single bit of dirt /soil. Strong plant!

I have used clear Gesso and Gesso regular+ Colorations spray by Art Anthology
Lots of stamps, mostly Tim Holtz
stencil by Prima
Different flowers and tape.
Chipboard by Dusty Attic
Tiny words are 7Dots Studio
Tissue paper by Tim Holtz
