How I'm Feeling now

Hohoho... its been 6 months since I blogged! well done... Oh well I thought it'll be good to write non-FYP-ish stuff as a break and I just found a perfect to write about! Well, on facebook a few friends shared this link about a NTU EEE student talking about why women should choose a engineering husband compared to doctors, business and other university grads.. Raised a few eye brows already? Here comes my nerdy analytical thinking cap:
1. CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Is there not a conflict of interest when you are also part of the group that you are writing to favour for? Hahaa EEE student writing about how engineers compare to the others? Oh well we're not publishing this in Nature are we?
2. SPOUSE PROFESSION: Honestly, does it matter? Sure some occupations tax relationships more than others.. like how you have to skip your 5th year anniversary with your girlfriend due to a time-course experiment 'date' with your smelly cell lines.. But you're loving your spouse as the individual he/she is and not the job! Go ahead and hate the job, but don't forget what your love is really for..
3. HOW ABOUT SCIENTISTS? Arha! Pointed out by my friend Fel, no mention was made of a scientist.. Perhaps he was not in a position to comment.. or maybe we are that bad off that its almost sad to write compare our profession with the others... Sadly I feel inclined to believe it is the latter..
Anyways I'm not criticizing or anything.. Just poking fun at the idiosyncracies of people (myself included) and admit it! these thoughts do linger in your mind.. its just a matter of how much~ But as good old me would say: "Don't be too hung up on the little trivial stuff and forget about all the other little things that makes life oh so fun!" - Deming

arhh.. Time flies... I still remember thinking and wishing about Starcraft 2 coming out when I was in secondary school~ Since Thursday, I now own it... Instead of getting the $229 local copy of the collector's edition, I pre-ordered from Amazon.com for USD$99.90 with priority shipping of USD$35.90. That amounts to about SGD$190~ sure i got my copy 2 days after release but I am amazed how fast DHL ships~ It was supposed to arrive today but i was so happy to track the shipping progress from Pheonix Arizona, to Ohio, to Hong Kong and then Singapore~
In short, this is AWESOME! Time for some quality gaming time!

I always wondered what I could add to my wardrobe with already so many things that my mom complains that it will collapse anytime soon if i buy anymore clothes~ As a word of defence, I believe my wardrobe is still only about 60% the size of a ladies wardrobe and 120% of that of a usual singaporean male~ I always felt the top was more important that the bottoms, shoes or anything else, but i'm slowly learning that its the whole package that makes an outfit brilliant or a total mismatch~

one particular accessory I learnt to appreciate is the belt and how it is important to pair your belt with your shoes~ I thought this belt makes a very nice addition for its red and beige stripes with the nice metal front to my current white berms and white loafers set~ Unfortunately it is dead crazy expensive at SGD$180 despite being a clearance price from reebonz~ well its PRADA after all~ A brand I will not succumb my parents to cringe from~ Maybe when I start work! For now, its no way jose man~ nonetheless, should anyone spot something similar in the market, do let me know yeah? =DD
