Happy 5 Month Birthday Princess Bug!

My little Macie bug is five months old today! I can't believe it has been that long, but it has. She is growing so fast, and if you ask me, she gets prettier everyday. Prettier, and bigger... Yesterday we went to visit the newest baby in the White family, Steve's cousin John and his wife Alli had a little girl last week. She weighed just a pound more than Macie did when she was born, but yesterday when I held her I couldn't believe that Macie was ever that small. Macie doesn't seem so dainty now that there is a new baby in the family. Macie is still a petite little thing though, she has only just recently started to fit into her 0-3 month clothes. Yes, you read that right, she is five months old and just barely fitting into 0-3's!
I haven't posted any new pictures of Macie in a while, so here are some fun ones. Some have stories and some are just cute...
I really liked this outfit so I took a bunch of pictures of Macie that day. I want to add another resolution to my list: TAKE MORE PICTURES OF MACIE!!!

I love that smile! Every morning when I go into Macie's room to get her out of bed, this smile is the first thing I see, add her kicking her legs and waving her arms and it makes a mommy feel pretty good. There is nothing better than when she gets excited to see me!
I don't know if you can tell from this picture but Macie is sticking out her tongue. She has recently discovered all the wonderful and different noises she can make with her tongue and her lips.
This is the serious face. Usually this face is how I can tell that she is no longer amused by the camera. Or me...
Okay, Macie will probably want to kill me for putting this picture on the internet some day, but I couldn't resist! The hair-do is the product of wearing a headband and bow all day. It's kind of like hat hair, but worse. And the face is just coincidence, one of those great moments caught on camera.

The doll in this picture is Macie's favorite toy. It has a rattle inside of it that she loves to make noise with. She also loves to eat the braids, I have to wash this doll weekly because she chews on it so much.

No story, just my cute kid...
Happy five month birthday Princess Bug, I love you!

Long Time No Blog...

Yeah, Yeah, get off my back! It was a very busy Christmas season for us this year, which didn't leave much time for blogging... Macie had a wonderful first Christmas. However as the worst mother on the planet, my camera was conveniently left at home on the sofa, so we took a grand total of 000 pictures. I promise to do better next year! To be honest, Macie didn't really think much of Christmas anyhow. It was busy and she didn't get to take a good nap, so my assumption is that she doesn't really care for Christmas at a ripe old age of 4 and a half months. But, now the new year is here and you know what that means... RESOLUTIONS!!! I hate them and I continue to make them every year... However, this year I only made four.

1. LOSE WEIGHT - Yes I make this resolution every year, and no I've never followed through. However, this year I have baby weight to lose, granted it's those last three stubborn pounds, but I'm going to lose them and then some.

2. GET ORGANIZED - Parts of my house look like they have been run over by a bull dozer. I'm going to get rid of the clutter and make sure everything has a place. There are boxes in my basement that have never been unpacked and I have half a mind to just throw them out without even looking in them; If I haven't used whatever is in them in the three years that we have lived here I must not need it very much!

3. Read the Scriptures more - Every time I read the scriptures I am glad that I did. I am more patient with Macie and Steve and I feel like my mood is better throughout the day, so why I don't do it more often, I don't know.

4. BLOG MORE - Every one yells at me and tells me that my blog is the most boring thing in the world. To that I say, so what!!! I blog about what I want to, but this year I promise to do it more often! I'm sure my 3 dedicated readers will be happy about that!

There are my resolutions. I thought that rather than making a page long list like I have in the past, I would make a short list and narrow it down to the most important ones. Happy 2009! I hope everyone has a great year.
