Halloween!

Braxton and Brogan with their pumpkins!
Braxton drew and tried to carve his own. It turned out cute.

On Friday Huntington Elementary had a Halloween parade.

On Friday night Grandma Laurie and Grandpa Mick took Braxton and Brogan to the carnival at grandma's school. Braxton had lots of fun!

Braxton and Brogan before trick-or-trunk on Saturday.

After trick or trunk we went Cleveland Elementary carnival. Shawn had lots of fun playing BINGO. Brogan had fun eating popcorn and sloppy joes and Braxton had fun in the bounce houses at the carnival. As for me I had fun watching all the people.

Our CrAzY FUN Summer!

I decided to take all of the pictures off of my camera so I would have space for new pictures of Lake Powell. This summer has been really crazy but a lot of fun. I don't think we can fit one more thing into these last few weeks left of summer. We leave for Lake Powell in the morning for a week and when we get back we are going to Lagoon with Nielsons and then the next week is the Ward family vacation. Before I know it I will be back in the classroom teaching again. Here are a few pictures of things we have been up to.
Braxton had a water day with his cousins. (Braxton, Addie, Carlie, and Katelyn)

Both Braxton and I had to go to the dentist. Braxton did really well. He is always nervous but is always and excellent patient.

Braxton had swimming lesson for two weeks. He loved his lessons this year. He really liked both of his swim teachers.

Braxton doing a cannon ball off of the diving board.

We spent another weekend at the cabin, which is always tons of fun. Braxton with his new helmet.

For Cleveland days they have a bike race. Braxton raced his bike and took second place.
Braxton is the one with the blue helmet.
I have not been very good at taking pictures this year. I didn't even take any pictures of the 24th. I am going to be better at taking more, so visit my blog again for updates of Lake Powell.

4 GeNeRaTiOn VaCaTiOn!

Everyone who knows my mom knows that she loves to plan and go on vacations. I mean I like to go on trips and vacations, but my mom should work for a travel agency. She planned a vacation for her girls and her mom and the grand kids of course! We flew from Salt Lake City into Portland, Oregon. From Portland we drove down to Newport where we stayed at an awesome hotel that had a beautiful ocean view. Sorry this post is long it is just a clip of the many fun and amazing things we did. Calie took all of the photos and I think there were over two hundred.
We played and walked on the beach. I love this picture of Braxton.

Our hotel! We stayed on the third floor. One night we had a Toy Story night where all of the kids wore there Toy story pjs and watched both toy story movies.

We played on the beach. The kids loved it and were covered in sand from head to toe. I thought it was a little chilly, but people from Oregon said that it was REALLY nice weather.

Thought I had better add a picture of me. Don't love it, but it's me.

One day we drove down to Florance and went to the sea lion caves. We took an elevator three hundred feet below ground to a cave where sea lions rest. I bet there were 300 or more sea lions in there. This was one of my favorite things we did.

This bridge is in Newport.

We were driving around Newport and I spotted this tractor in an empty field. I made my mom turn around so Calie could take some pictures of Brogan for his nine month old pictures. I just wish he would have been cowboyed up.

Isn't this a cool picture! I want to frame it and put it in my tractor bathroom.

Sea Lions!

Grandma Pat, Braxton, Grandma Laurie, Brogan, and Jaren

We spent the day at the Living Aquarium in Newport. Grandma Laurie sure loves her grandbabies.

Sea lions at the pier.

One of the many light houses we saw. This one was one of the tallest. This was my first time in one. Holly cow there is a lot of stairs.

Braxton, my mom, and Calie found this star fish on the beach.

Braxton thought he was pretty cool. Calie took all of these pictures and I think this one is really neat.

We spent one whole day driving the coast and on the way we stopped at the Tillamook Cheese factory.

We spent our last night in Portland. Before going to the airport to go home Calie insisted we have a VooDoo doughnut. I didn't know it was a big deal until we arrived at the doughnut shop to see the long line. We waited in line for about an hour! The doughnut was good, but not worth the wait. We had a lot of FUN and enjoyed each other. I guess we can say we finished our trip with a doughnut. Thank you Mom so much for the fun trip!

Summer Break So Far!!

It is hard to believe that it is almost July and I haven't even started on any of my projects I wanted to accomplish this summer. We have been very busy this summer so far, but I'm not sure what exactly has been keeping us so busy. We have been PLAYING!

Braxton finished his school year with a preschool program, which was really cute. They preformed the Three Billy Goat Gruff and Braxton was the Troll. He was really cute with his part. I can't believe Braxton will be in Kindergarten next year and will be going to school with me. I took him to his Kindergarten check-up, which he was so brave at. He had to get five shots.

Brogan is now 9 months and weighs 18 lbs. He is trying to walk and he hasn't even mastered crawling yet. He is a funny boy with the cutest smile ever!

We have spent two weekends at the cabin so far. The boys have so much fun riding the four wheelers.

Braxton thinks he is pretty cool riding his own four wheeler. I think it is pretty SCARY!

Braxton and Brogan so far this summer have enjoyed laying around in their PJ's. Braxton likes to read stories to Brogan.

The Boys drew on the sidewalk with chalk while I planted flowers. I didn't know that sidewalk chalk could be so messy. They both had to have a bath after.
Playing outside in the sun.

Brogan loves the swimming pool.

It is so much fun watching these boys play together even thought they are four and a half years apart. Braxton loves his brother so much. I have enjoyed my time off so far. I know it is going to go by way too fast. We have a lot more planned for the summer. In four days we are headed to Oregon, can't wait.

FUN in the SUN!

This year for Easter my family decided that we wanted to find some warm sunshine for Easter. So, we booked our flights for Phoenix Arizona and packed our bags. When we arrived at PHX airport we found the Easter Bunny. Braxton was relieved to know that the Easter Bunny knew where he was.

Coloring Easter eggs!

While in PHX we visited their ZOO which was a lot of fun. PHX has a big, nice zoo.
Braxton loved the frog gallery.
One of the LAZY lions at the ZOO. This picture reminds me of how I might of looked laying around the pool at the house in PHX soaking up the warm sunshine.

Camel ride with Grandma Laurie

and shoulder rides on Daddy.
Okay, so this is the only picture I have of me with my boys on our trip and Braxton has to be picking his nose!

The Easter Bunny found us!

Brogan and Jaren were so cute together!

Braxton's favorite part of the whole trip, SWIMMING!
