There is a TON that has happened since the last time I blogged! I'll just start from the top and ramble my way to the present!

Over the summer Zoey and I went to Utah for three and a half weeks

to visit family while Jason went to Army officer training in San Antonio for six weeks. Zoey and I definitely missed Jason, but had so much fun in Utah. We tried to cram as much into those three weeks as we could. We ate at all our favorite restraunts, hiked, swam, saw friends, went to the aquarium, went to Moab, went to three weddings and relaxed a little. y loved all the attention she got! She also LOVED all the puppies she saw! It seems like everyone we stayed with or visited had a dog to play with! She learned all their names and every morning when she would wake up she would say "puppies!". She also learned a ton of new words! She even learned to give knuckles and give a pretty good dirty look. That is a pretty quick watered down version of our trip, but hopefully I can start staying on top of this blogging stuff so I can remember more details!

Once we left Utah we headed straight to San Antonio to see Jason for two days. He had a break from training because of the 4th of July. We had such a fun trip! We took a small tour of Jason's living quarters and the base, ate at our fav BJ's pizza, swam, went down to the river walk, and went to Sea World. Jason and I always love to look up places to eat that are unique or on the food network so we found this bakery that was famous for their 3lb cinnamon roll (just what a pregnant girl needs!) I'll have to post a pic of it! It was pretty big! We ended up sharing it with three other guys Jason was a training with. Sea World was for sure the highlight (other than seeing Jason) of the trip! It was SO crowded and hot, but we managed to have a blast at the sesame street splash park and sea lion and otter show. Zoey loved the sea lion and otter show! She kept saying "look!" and pointing to the animals! She was glued the entire time and clapped all throughout the show! She makes things so fun for us! We were sad to only have a short time with Jason, but we made the most of it! From San Antonio we made the short flight to Dallas to see my friend Mattie and her little girl Allie. Mattie had to work all the days we were there except one so Zoey and I did a lot of swimming at her parents house (SO beautiful by the way). We got to do some much needed catching up though which was nice. Flying home from Dallas was a little crazy! Long story short I ended up being stuck in the Dulles airport for most of the day and had to switch flights just to get to Roanoke and have to stay in a hotel until the next day. It was quite the day considering I started at 4am! It was SO nice to finally get home to my own bed after lots of travel with a one and a half year old! Zoey was such a good girl the whole time! I sure love her!

Zoey and I were home without Jason for about two and a half weeks! We missed him a lot, but did all we could to keep ourselves busy! He finally came home the 26th of July! Zoey was SO excited to see him!

The day after Jason got home he went to volunteer at the Greenbrier Classic golf tournament.  It was most of the week and each day he left around 6 in the morning and didn't get home until 7pm! Zoey and I did get to go visit and watch golf because we had grounds passes for the week which was really nice!  Right after the golf tournament was over school, started! It was a crazy time to say the least!  Once Jason got a couple of weeks into school we could finally get into a good routine.

Jason had to work at a blood pressure booth at the WV state fair this year so Zoey and I met up with him after one of his shifts and had a blast looking at all the animal and of course eating all the yummy (super unhealthy) food:)

Sept. 1st we headed to NYC to see some of Jason's family (Janice, Greg, and their families). Greg had some extra tickets to the US Open so along with a very fun and eventful New York trip we got to watch Federer play! Such a fun trip! We are so grateful to Greg and Kris and Janice for taking such good care of us! A few notable things were Top of the Rock, ground zero, eating at Grimaldi's under the Brooklyn bridge, our subway adventures (mainly me being 35 weeks pregnant and helping Jason hoist the stroller with Zoey in it up lots of stairs! Must have been a site to see:), shopping, and Times Square. I'll post pictures later.

Last but not least for this extremely long update is that I am now 37 weeks pregnant (considered full term) and already dilated to a 3-4 cm and 50% effaced. This baby boy is coming quick! We are very excited to meet him! For my parents sake I hope he doesn't make an appearance before Oct. 4th.

I am going to try and be better at this blogging thing! Maybe once a week or once a month because its too hard to remember everything from 3 months ago!
