04May2011 - Operation day

It's been a very long time since I posted here... 
And the first post that I post is actually about me going to an operation tomorrow... 
I am not worried but I am getting nervous as the operation gets nearer.... 
If I say I feel ok about tomorrow, then I am lying... 
How can I be not worried and not nervous... 
It's my first operation and it'll be removing the cyst at my left ovary... 
At least I am not losing sleep over this... So I guess I am alright... 

I will be admitting in Thomson Medical Centre tomorrow at 7am... but the operation will be at around 10am... 
And the nurse who registered me today told me the operation will last 90mins... So I would be out at about 11.30am...  
The nurse told me I cannot take any food and drink after midnight today... I can gurgle with water but I cannot drink... which means I will be on an empty stomach form midnight until 11.30 the next day!!! I wonder if I can tahan for so long!!! hahaha... 

Anyway, I know I will be better and hopefully I will have good news about having an additional member to the family :p

Annual Checkup at Raffles Hospital

Today 14 Feb.. Valentine's Day..
I am at Raffles Hospital now.. My appt is at 8.20am so am waiting for my turn checkup..
Actually I dunno what they will need to do & test.. so feeling quite scared..

new camera

we got a new camera~~ hehe
A DSLR.... Nikon D5000...

before choosing any camera, we asked around for inputs from friends and colleagues and looked through the websites for the different brands of DSLR that are in the market at the moment...
there were so many of them but we managed to select a few that match my "skills" and our budget... haha...
cos I am still at entry-level and not very good with personal customization...

today we brought it out and are playing around with it...
and we have a lot to learn... haha...

Yeah~~ I finally completed the album using digial scrapbooking to compile all our photos taken on our actual day...
