Top Ten Tuesday!

Summer means Beach time or ever heading down to a lake. Nothing beats sitting back and relaxing while enjoying the sun and hopefully a warm breeze. I love having a good book on hand to read, even if I don't get the chance due to children, while relaxing in a beach chair or sunbathing on a towel.

As luck would have it this weeks Top Ten is all about books I would recommend for down by the Beach. I like my beach reads to be something I can read fast and it's easy to follow.  Or one that is fun with some fluff.  I typically don't like something so intense that I can't put it down to enjoy the view.  Although, the books do have to be compelling enough to want to continue reading.  These types of books for me can range from 5 to 3 star ratings. Hopefully you can find one that sound good to you.

Top Ten Beach Books I would Recommend

1. Great Read Anytime

Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1)

If you have not read this book then really you just need to read it. Trust me it is awesome and it won't matter if you read it at the Beach or in a reading chair at home. Those of you that have read this book would probably love to re-read it at the Beach or on a Lake.

Since I just read and reviewed Chasing Magic by Stacia Kane, which review is right under this post so feel free to check it out, I will go with Terrible for my character.

Chasing Magic (Downside Ghosts, #5)

Release Date : June 26th, 2012

Rated :

Okay, I know I have said 'this book is the best so far' starting at book 2 or 3 but I have to say it again. This book is my favorite so far! We all know and love Chessiebomb and Terrible. I mean they are my favorite couple along with Zsadist and Bella from BDB and a few more.  My point it that these books are pure awesome, right? Right. Now add...Zombies to this awesomeness and you get Chasing Magic. Yes, I said Zombies! I know I never expected it to happen in this series but Stacia Kane went there and I loved it!

Recommend : Anyone who has read the Downside Ghosts series will adore this book. If you haven't given this series a try well do it.  You have nothing to loose and everything to gain by looking at life from the other side of town.

Plagiarism, Personal Identity Leak, & Offended People OH MY!

I have tried to not post about the kind of bad behavior that is going on in the blogging world. Most other blogs have done a great job of summing it up so why write my own post? All I have to say is that the time has come.

For those of you that are not part of the blogger world, you probably have no idea the heinous crimes that have been committed on your own computer scene.

Let me start out with Plagerizism. Earlier this year a well known blog was found to have plagiarized another blog. Now this person denied it until IP address and matching dates/times proved them to be liars.

Amanda and Her Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Shopping Experience!

Have you ever had a shopping experience that was so painfully annoying you just can't believe it happened to you or let's be honest, happened at all? Well my dear fellow consumer, such an experience has happened to yours truly. This is my report on one of my top five worst shopping experiences to date.

Let's start at the beginning shall we.

My mother graciously offered to join me and my daughter on a journey to find spoons for my garden. Why spoons you ask? Well dear consumer, I have found a cute way of displaying the name of each type of plant I have. The name goes on the round part of the spoon while the handle gets put in the dirt to hold it up. Cute, I know. Perfect, yes due to no rust and being an adorable ornament as well. So we were on a journey to find antique spoons to add to my beautiful garden.

Review : When You Dare by Lori Foster

When You Dare

When You Dare (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor, #1)

Rated :

Recommend : If you enjoy books about Military Men saving the damsel in distress than give this a try.

Dare goes on a "trip" to find and retrieve his best friends' sister. Our first look into his world would be his recounting of the rescue mission. He managed to free Alani, Trace's sister, and all the other women kept locked up in the trailer in Tijuana Mexico. He also brought home a ... complication. The complications name is Molly and his protective nature seems to be in overdrive with her.
