Summer Fun

Pirhanas

F. kept us on our toes this year. This was his second year swimming and it was exciting to compare times to last year. His relay team also made it to finals.....but we had summer plans and he was not able to attend. I love going to swim meets. The nights are cool, good friends, and some competition.

Brave

Our T. is very brave. She visits Valley Childrens often for check ups for various concerns. All is well. This day she was extremely brave. The shoes that go with the dress are so cute!

T's 7th Birthday

She wanted a trip to the beauty college, dinner, and a movie!

Get a way to the coast

Just F. and I. We ate fish and found sea anenomes....not sure on the spelling. It was Finn's first time at the beach and he loved it!

Happy Valentines

So far behind in posting.... For T. we made Hair clips for all the girls and F. wanted homemade crayons again. We make our own Valentines boxes and make cards and write notes to each other up till the 14th.

School Fun 1st grade

Monterey Bay

T's class went on a feild trip. I volunteered as a chaperone because the thought of her going that far away by herself with her class wooried me a bit She is only in first grade. Monterey is 4 hours one way for us. The trip turned out soomthly. There was a part of the trip where they particpated in a lab on the site since they were part of a school. It was given in spanish. It was fun to see my girl participate in spanish.

Celebrated the New Year Chinese

Three months into the year and I am still trying to catch up. My parents were down and we celebrated Chinese style. We had hats and robes, food from the Hong Kong, and ended the night watching a fascinating show on Netflix about a Chinese dancer who came to the states to dance.....the men went to the other Thompson's and watched sports. Happy New Year's and warm wishes.

Jummped on the trampoline
Played Ghost in the Grave Yard- innocent boys, and they let T. play too
He wanted Chocolate cake...yum

F. turned 10....a month ago :)

He wanted luggage and happily we were able to use it on a trip to Magic Mountain. It was great- no crowds, nice weather. I had not been since HS.....
