Preparations: London

The good news is that I have finally got down to do my international student's bank account and my UK visa... its a chore but it definitely beats rotting at home. At least I got things done.

The bad news is that my preparations are far from over. However, there is no worry. I've gotten everything planned out. I hope...

The funny thing is, I was never excited or anxious about going to the UK. When people ask me about how I feel about leaving home, about going overseas to study for 4 years, I do not know how to answer! Simply because I feel listless, unconcerned, apathetic even. Anyhow, I will be leaving in 4 weeks time. Maybe I should count down to get into the mood. 27 more days to go!! Hmmm... OK... 27 days seems quite fast now that I have mentioned it. Sianz... Self-manipulation at its best. haha.

In preparation, I have also been sleeping later and later each day in an attempt to adjust to the UK time zone. So that when i reach London... I will not have jet lag! The side effect is that it drives my mum mad. Haha. (its just a lame excuse to sleep late)

The pic is from V for Vendetta. I am not implying anything. It just looks cool!
Cheers!

Propaganda at its finest

Haha... did not expect this. Its so convenient to write a blog. Just click and write. The content is the hard part but honestly who cares about the contents anyway. Its all fake. OK. Its not really fake but honestly, who do you think will write about their lives with honesty and publish it to the world? Of course not, we only write what we want others to hear about us (our thinking, feelings and our lives).

There will not be dirty secrets or other nasty details that the blogger does not want others to know (DUH!). So why blog? You know what I think a blog is all about? Its propaganda. Its your own personal propaganda machine. Its your way to tell the world how you feel about things but more importantly, its your very own way to influence other people's ideas about you and everyone else. Com'on, the diary is secret, the blog is media.

So if everyone is doing it. Why not me. Its my small way to influence and change the world! My first steps to world domination! Opinions, opinions everywhere but not single one to trust. The keyboard is mightier than the pen and the pen is mightier than the swrord, so help me God. Help us all! Amen.

In such times, we do need lots of help. Sadly, in this information age, it's information that cannot be trusted. The world is filled with truths, half truths and utter bullshit. But what are we to believe? Can we dare to trust? bah... there is one simple rule that I follow: "There is only two people that i turst, one is me and the other is not you!" HAHA... I am not telling who cos thats my secret! I am not telling coz this is a blog and not a diary.!!! so suck your thumb and sulk... I don't care... so don't bother... bwrahhahaha...

Quote of da day: mosquitoes make you like flies better.

Perfectionist

This is me and this is my blog. I want it to be perfect, everything must look fine if its mine. So i am now embarking on a journey to source for the finest or most "me" blog style. I cant really html, but i am trying to learn so that i can have a blog that is unique. Uniquely me.
Argh!! And it is damn fustrating... i hate programming. Even if it is just html... and i am not even writing it from scratch. I am copying from everywhere! But the results are dismay, the utmost dissapointment. Computing language is a foreign language in english. blah... fish... what does html stand for anyway?!

I came, I saw and I got conquered.

Curse of da day: We learn new things everyday.
