I have basically covered the entire song this time round and this proves how much I enjoy this song. :) A challenging song to do really, because the original lyricist uses veri "chim" chinese and the song is much more beautiful and touching in chinese.
A sad story of a typical triangle love. With two guys a girl, things get a little crowded. In this case, i believe the song is told from the guy who is going to be dumped by the girl as the girl has fallen in love with his fren. Wow, sounds like I watched it somewhere before.. haha, typical idol drama I know, but in song form so much more poignant and sad.
Ratings: 9/10 (i really find the lyrics veri veri touching)
I really like this song. Its from Jay Chuo's latest album 我很忙. Ok, I might sound a little biased saying this considering im a jay chuo fan but hey, nice works need to be shared. lol. There is a reason why he's so popular ever since he started.
I shall losely translate bits and pieces but mainly from the chorus but if there are any mistakes, correct me. I haven really used my chinese-english skills ever since the chinese As.

Basically, this song takes about a relationship once so treasured, has lost its feel over time. Both try but fail and in this case, we see that its mainly the guy's fault. Understand that this song is from a guy's perspective and its quite interesting to see things this way. We often see an relationship failing because of both parties being unable to committ but now, we should also understand that things are not that simple. Enough with all the big talk, especially when im no love expert. Lets move on.
Generally, this song is quite catchy and I can really imagine myself in his shoes (though im a girl). One of my favourites in my playlist, i give it a biased but realistic rating.

Prism Ark
Prism Ark is rather funny anime with all the cute drawing of the characters. Also, the funny bits are hilarious too. This story revolves around Hyaweh and Priecia and their friends, Kagura, Fel and Karin their instructor. They are training to become knights to protect their country, Wind Land from the Sablum Empire which uses angels to fight. What is so ironic is that Angels, which are symbols of peace are completely opposite in this context. They are supposedly weapons of mass destruction in the anime and kill indiscriminately, wielding great powers.
At first glance, it may seem boring but it does get interesting as the plot moves on. The 1st episode was rather confusing for me cos i had known nothing bout tis anime before i watched it and with them introducing both Priecia and Princea, (i really thought they were the same) one, Princea in their childhood, the other, Priecia, grown-up andis actually Princea's daughter. But other than that, i got things right eventually (mainly thanks to wiki and epi 2 onwards with hardly any mention of Princea aka mother) so watching it became less confusing. Overall, the drawing was good though Priecia's hair looks weird from the back and oh, i think Hyaweh's too short. lol. Other than that, i felt i was a not bad anime, which is short and sweet (12 epi, im on 7 now).
One last complain is that there are too little fansubs for this project which i thought was a pity. ASF-neet and Mellow have done great jobs but they more less stopped or become infrequent which im really sad bout. Another fansub grp which has faithfully followed the series, only 1 comment, painful to watch cos of the wordings colours and the op and ed songs without subs. No offense but something really needs to be done about the colour.

Witch Yo He
After I covered Japanese anime, Tawianese idol drama, its time to cover something from Korea! Nowadays its really easy to watch Korean drama. Channel U now shows quite recent dramas from Korea. Currently, there is witch yo he and the one Im really really anticipating is Coffee Prince. Covering one by one, I shall start with Witch yo he. As for coffee prince, I shall cover when it comes out on channel U which would be on the 31 dec.
Witch yo he is a love comedy which shows the main character of the story, Ma You Xi and her relationship with 3 other guys namely, Cai Wulong, Johnny Cooger and Junhe senior (senior as in senior back in her university days.) Cai Wulong is a guy who accidentally banged into Youxi’s car. Unable to pay for the repair fees, her ends up being her house-keeper aka maid. Youxi is a rather cool lady meaning which she’s never nice to anyone. This could probably attributed to her dad, who is very controlling. Her mom left her when she was young and eventually passed away. Hence, Youxi is a very practical person though she harbors the hope of finding her one true love. To complete her dream, she goes to match-making sessions but ultimately they fall through due to her attitude. After Wulong enters her life as a maid, he transforms her into a beauty and imparts her skills to tone down her attitude. She becomes more amiable and friendly but is still rejected by her first love, Junhe senior. Reason behind this is linked to Youxi’s dad who feels that Junhe is not compatible with her. He actually sponsored Junhe’s overseas studying to make him leave his daughter and now he made the same request to Junhe. Goodness-knows why but it seems that though Junhe also seems to like Youxi, but he willingly agrees to Youxi’s dad’s request.
Johnny is a well-known cooking chief of a restaurant and he also seems to like Youxi. Its pretty obvious since his handphone has several photos of Youxi. However, he is hesitant in moving his relationship any further than just friendship. Finally this leaves us with Wulong left.
Wulong is a very caring and funny guy who is extremely concerned about Youxi. He already has a girlfriend called Shengmei and they both work at the same place, which is the place Johnny the chief works at. Shengmei works as the head-waitress whereas Wulong is an apprentice with Johnny. Many a times, Wulong seems to display more care for Youxi rather than for his own girlfriend. Personally, this leaves me a little irritated because Im confused as to who Wulong should choose. I mean I want Youxi to finally get a boyfriend but at the same time, I don’t want Shengmei to become single. (Waaa…)
Rating: Excellent Drama – catch it for you wont regret it
It started with a kiss + Why Why Love
Before it started with a kiss 2, there’s obviously it started with a kiss. The English name sounds really long and so I shall simplify it to iswak (now it looks way to weird). This shows depicts the love story of Qiang qing who is someone not very bright (its better than saying stupid; ouch) being in love with a very smart guy called Zhi Shu (to me it sounds like straight tree literally...). The story begins when qiang qing ‘s house collapsed during an earthquake. Since she lost her mum when she was young, she and her dad moved into her dad’s fren’s house. (there’s no link between the first part and the secong part of the sentence but hey, you get the idea rite?). Wow, in such in a coincidence, qiang qing finds herself living in the same house zhi shu lives in!! (So unbelievable that I cannot even believe it myself…) It turns out that qiang qing’s father and zhi shu’s dad are very good friends. Also, zhi shu’s mom absolutely adores qiang qing and she tries a thousand and one ways to get them together. Eventually, zhi shu is moved by qiang qing and falls for her too. However, this silly girl well is a little slow at detecting this and after many twists and turns, the two finally get together… (well, no surprises there)
Overall, this show is very much like all other idol dramas, with a very visually appealing casts; cute girl, shuai ge. The funny bits are generally hilarious and the songs are extremely catchy and set the whole atmosphere of the story. The only thing I dislike about iswak is that some parts, especially the middle parts, were very slow and draggy as of most typical idol dramas too. However, you would find yourself rooting for qiang qing as she pursues her love and well, this show is quite moving at times too. Not bad a watch, and considering its popularity in Asia, it’s an above average show you shouldn’t miss.
Besides iswak, there’s another better show I enjoy. Also, another weird title, its called why why love. In my personal opinion, this is a better show than iswak because its faster moving and the cast is well, better. As to the specific show details, I’ll cover it when im free but if you are looking for a good watch, I would recommend why why love before iswak. The only reason im posting about iswak is because iswak 2 started screening yesterday and I have high hopes for it and I hope that I don’t get let down…

Myself, yourself
Suitable for all. Little to no violence but not too funny as well.
Frankly speaking, this is not one of the very best anime I have watched so far but out of the recent few im currently watching, its one of the better ones. The recent season of brand new animes came out slightly before the prelims or As, I cant exactly remember so lets jus move on to the plot.
In this story we are seeing the lives of the 5 main characters of the story, more commonly known as Sana, Nanaka, Shu, Shuri and Aoi. This is something like an idol drama serial, except in anime form. What I enjoy so much from this show is that all the characters have their own secrets and past to deal with. Everything starts off at a light note and to tell you the truth, I didn’t expect much from the anime.
However, as the story unfolds with each episode, it gets darker as each antagonist secrets and past are revealed. This is a rather short anime, shorter than what I would have wanted. It’s only 13 episodes! I shall stop myself from whining and move on. Its currently at episode 11 and its at its climax. Everyone’s secret is revealed except Sana.
Not to spoil everything, I jus discuss very briefly what it is all about. Nanaka is haunted by her past experience in a fire which killed her parents. Shuri and Shu are twins whose mother died when they were young and their dad is running for the city council. They have a stepmum, who is having an affair with this other random guy. The twins are very much controlled by their dad and well, let jus say he would do anything to become the city counselor, even when its against his children’s wishes. Aoi is pretty much the the funny girl in the whole show who is innocent and has nothing to hide. Sana is the main character in this whole show, and his secret is the last to be revealed. I have no idea bout it now but it has something to do with his moving away and a watch.
Overall, I think it’s a great anime to watch out for but if you are new to anime, you might find it a little dry and slow-moving. However, both the opening and ending themes are quite catchy but also not the best I have heard. But pls don’t jus reject this anime upon reading this cos overall feel of this anime is good. The combination of above average music, drawing and plot makes it a generally entertaining anime.
